I have a Hisense android TV running VIDAA 6 on android 6.0. This TV has Chinese custom UI built in to it with very limited customisation options. As it is built on android i was wondering is there anyway that i can flash a custom ROM on to it. Please assist.

im wondering if this version of android oreo GO for smart phones, with MTK6580 Quad Core 1.0GHz cpu , can be installed on smartwatch with this MTK6580 cpu ?
It will be nice that my chinese smartwatch with android 5.1 can run new Android Oreo 8.1 ( light version ).

At this moment i have a Joying headunit with android 8.0 on it, i want to upgrade to android 8.1 or even if its possible to android 9.
I asked new files from aliexpress seller, got files they told me it was android 8.1 but after update still android 8.0, lower date version and even my steering wheel button's doesnt work anymore….
Can anyone help me out here with good software?

First a disclosure, I'm a complete noob when it comes to Android OS & installation.
Having said that, I have an "unrooted" Moto G4 phone (XT1624 model) with Android 7.0. This model was not eligible for Oreo update & now some of the popular apps like Amazon shopping has stopped working since they require a minimum Android 8.0 to work. I was wondering if I could root this phone (5 years old phone so already out of warranty) & install any stable higher Android OS like 8,, 9, 10 etc. My questions are:
1. Does installing higher OS require specific system requirements or any phone with 2 GB RAM capable of working any OS?
2. Is it advisable to install in gradation like 7.0 to 8.1 to 9 to 10 ? What technical problems could I face if, say, I install Android 10 directly from Android 7.0?
3. What latest Android OS you guys think should work smoothly on this phone?

I recommend the latest official 8.1 for G4plus, look at XDA for TWRP-athene-OPJ28.111-22-1.zip

You can also get Android 10 unofficial for example with arrow os, but it has some minor bugs.
Always do a clean flash means wipe everything in TWRP first
PS: Regarding OS G4 Athene and G4Plus are the same

New to the forum and just wondering if there's any LPDDR3 ROM for S912 based Android TV box that uses Android 8 OS? My box is TX9 Pro.
I've tried Aidan's rom with Android 9, but appears this version of Android does not support audio passthrough.
