Hello, my milestone 2 is with the rentail official rom, version 2.3.6 of Brazil. And currently I am interested in two customs roms:
cm72-111215.1631-nightly-Milestone2-GB-v1.3 and Argen2Stone30. Both for GB kernel.
I can restore these roms on my phone without problems? Argen2Stone30 recommends version 2.3.4 rentail UK to apply the path, but is it really necessary? Multiupload is offline now and I can not download the 2.3.4 UK.
Thanks for the help.
I am writting this with A3S with 2.3.6
Works ok
Sorry my bad english

Hello friend. Really thanks for the reply.
Here's an error happening when I perform the restore with ArgentoStone 3.
After checking the checksum (nandroid.md5), an restoration error occurs.
The ArgentoStone's zip not have a boot.img. So I tried to restore this file by ClockworkMod. But this procedure also resulted in an error when writing the file.
You had to do something more besides restore using nandroid?
See you soon and thanks for the help.
I had no problems with the installation.. perhaps the file was corrupt in the downloading..
Download again the zip and then try to restore again the nandroid using "Advance Restore"...
BTW waht version of cwm do you have? because I used cwm 5 to restor the nand..
and the A3S's zip not have a boot.img because is only a System nand..
Version 5??
Hey I'm still using version 3.1.0.0 that came with the Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap.
You installed your ClockworkMod directly by Rom Manager?
Probably this is the reason for my restoration errors.
Is there any difference between using the Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap or Rom manager?
I think i can't update the ClockworkMod of Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap to version 5.
Really thanks for the help.
Hello, I updated the Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap to version 1.0.0.5 and the CWM has been updated automatically.
Now the restore process works normally.
Even so the rom did not work.
Wipe the cache, wipe davik, wipe the battery, after that apply the restoration.
When I restart the phone, the animation boot of ArgentoStone appears, but the boot of operating system does not occur.
Does anyone know why this happens?

If you have bootloader 3, you can try Endless7 downgrade method... see the topic to learn how to check and downgrade: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497263

wow Thank you.
According to this tutorial, it is still necessary to perform the downgrade kernel to install these custom roms.
Arriving home, I'll try to install the rom cm72-111215.1631-nightly-Milestone2-GB-v1.3 without performing the downgrade to see if it works.
If not work, I think the downgrade is my last option. XD
Thank you.
wow Obrigado.
XD
Obrigado.
The cm72-111215.1631-nightly-GB-v1.3-Milestone2 really did not work applied directly on the 2.3.6 rom rentail BR. I believe I'll try to downgrade now.
JoseBerga, you really could do this process? Whenever I try, the system does not boot.
Thanks.

We can not install custom nor earlier original roms directly over original GB due to lack of signatures on it. Endless7 method uses a chinese rom with all the required signatures to allow downgrade, follow it (unless you are in VIVO GB).

Thanks, now I understand.
So, I just do the downgrade of the endless, then the installation of CyanogenMod will work, right?
I think this method will not do the installation of ArgentoStone work, since it is a different build.
Many people are having the same problem that I with ArgentoStone and nobody knows how to solve it.
According to the forum, it should work normally on 2.3.4 or 2.3.6 UK BR.
If someone needs the sbf 2.3, to install ArgentoStone. Here are some links, as Multiupload is offline.

I dont know anything about CM because I never install that rom..
But I'm still using A3S in 2.3.6 kernel... I use last version of 2nd init port to defy by walter79 (from MS2Ginger rom), I not use Droid 2 recovery bootstrap..
http://www.4shared.com/zip/z_zeYLEn/bootmenu110-CWM5032Milestone2.html
There's the lates bootmenu, just install it in CWM. As for the bootlooping, you might have to wipe your data, cache and dalvik after you install the bootmenu...

Thanks staff , then recori to this site because I have some doubts about my phone.
Well he is a SM G531BT (Samsung Gran Prime Duos TV Brazilian)
It is rooteado with rooteada Pre -ROM SM G531H .
So guys , the BT version are not available for recovery or Xposed , at least where I googled , but in version (H ) there is recovery and so Xposed . But anyway, if I have a BT and use the ROM (H ) can I put this recovery without any problems ? Recalling that the only difference from the BT Pro M is the TV
Well, if you have to leave a brief explanation , I shall be grateful , hugs .

1. instalei o recovery TWRP
2. Instale o ES File explorer
3. Instale o ROM Installer
4. Instale o Xposed Framework (apk). Usei a versão 78.0 amr (custom build wanam / 20151116)
5. Coloque o Xposed (arquivo .ZIP) na memoria do cartão
O meu estar funcionando perfeitamente.

Hello. After a few days headbanging, I managed to install Xposed SM G531-BT with pre rooteada firmware (G-531H).
I will speak briefly how:
1. installed TWRP recovery
2. Install ES File Explorer
3. Install the ROM Installer
4. Install the Xposed Framework (apk). I used the 78.0 amr version (custom build wanam / 20151116)
5. Place the Xposed (.ZIP file) in the memory card
6. Use the ES File Explorer to give written permission on system android folder (/ system).
7. Apply the .ZIP file using the Installer ROM
The smart will restart, automatically enter recovery mode and install Xposed and then will restart again. It will take a while on the screen with the logo of Samsung. If the smart does not start, reapplies the rom prerooteada q it back to normal.
My be working perfectly.
It is possible to upgrade from CM12 to CM12.1 with CWM keeping the app
if so, how do i
Deste modo, a ROM terá menos bugs
Espero ter ajudado
As I know you are portuguese, I'll answer in portuguese and leave the answer in english below, so other users can read it.
I think yes, you can do that, but I don't recommend doing it, because the chances of the ROM become more instable are bigger.
What I recommend is to flash stock ROM first using ODIN, gain root access, install a custom recovery and then flash the ROM. This way, the ROM will be more bugless.
Hope I helped

Do DATA backup in TWRP.
REstore backup of DATA after first boot.
It CAN work but it does not mean it WOULD.
I guess it is 60% chance to work that way.
Hey, I have a PureNexus 7.1.2 ROM and I want to go back to an official 6.0.1, but I don't have any backup and I don't know how to install the only official ROM I found for LATAM (I'm a new user so I can't share links, but surely you know that GitHub motoxplay file, I found it there) since it can't be installed via twrp, and it doesn't have the right format to be installed by fastboot commands either.
I would appreciate if anybody knows how to install that ROM (file_delta-ota-Blur_Version.24.61.52.lux_retla_ds.retla.en.01) or has a Latin America backup they could share.
check post #2:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/general/rom-xt1563-brasil-stock-6-0-twrp-t3272979
it's not retla, but comes from latin america
Check this post too, there are lots of stock ROMs.

Translation:
