I can't go back to stock ROM for ZenFone 2 laser. I also found a nice ROM (resurrection 7.1.2) but no sound from speaker. Do we need to install kernel from ASUS' own site?

If I'm not wrong Z00LD is ZE550KL. I think you need a Z00L ROM. You can find some on ZENFONE 2 LASER ANDROID DEVELOPMENT and ZENFONE 2 LASER ORIGINAL ANDROID DEVELOPMENT

I have been looking at the specs of both the Zenfone Go ZB500KL and Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL and they have the same specs. Therefore is it possible to install a Laser ROM on the Zenfone Go? There are none officially available for the ZB500KL and am getting fed up with ZenUI

even if the specs r same someone needs to port a rom or build a rom for your device .. i.e for zb500kl
flashing another rom will either result in error while flashing or bricking of your phone

I have found that the Asus Zenfone Laser has a very similar specification like my Zenfone Go. Same cpu, same ram, storage, etc... Only the camera does not have the laser focus...
