hi, i have some samsung applications on my phone. i tried to install on my google nexus 7. some of them installed others didn't. the ones installed crashed and the ones worked gave me a message that i cant run this application on that device.
i think that android application should run on any android system regardless of the manufacturer. am i right? do these application will work if i root my device or maybe install a custom rom.

My problem there is no google play service available in my system .whenever tried to install it says incompatable with id using same shared
Tried all the way but still not able to fix google play service
I installed kotix 2.7 but not working then used original software but replacing only updated s150 zip file from kotix 2.7 it rebooting but hang on touch to calibrate screen and screen not sensing touch
Also i root my system by king root then tried to slide google play service in system/app but not accepting also slide it to data/app but not accepting to change it to read write

Been searching for a while now, on here and 4pda.ru for some help with my head unit. Not sure if it's Eincar, Allwinner, Topwinner or chickendinner :laugh:
The system versions are in my attached image, and i've not found anywhere with the same so unsure about upgrading etc.
The TW2 at the end there suggests its 'TopWinner' - is that the same company as Allwinner?
I'm wanting to update it, if there is an update available please, and I also need to factory reset it.
I discovered that the Dev password is 7890, and when i go to factory reset it warns me that third party apps would be removed? it came with Igo Satnav and some other
software for bluetooth, dvd etc. Will i lose all those? or just apps i've installed from play store? like youtube, spotify etc
Also, is there a resource page for this version somewhere? Whilst trawling these forums i discovered this page for mods etc... is it good for mine?

And Is it possible to do a nandroid backup with TWRP? or root or something else before i start tinkering with stuff?
And finally, Netflix won't appear in the playstore.... do i need to download an apk manually?

Do you know that a factory reset deletes all apps that were installed by the user? This includes .APK files and apps that you downloaded from Google Play Store. This includes files on the internal storage.
