[Q] Lenovo Tab K1 Issues with 3G and Display

I just purchased a Lenovo Tablet K1 (Wifi+3G) in India.
Store: Lenovo Store, New Delhi
System Details as Below:
1. Model No: K1
2. Android Version: 3.2.1
3. Baseband Version: 11.810.09.12.00
4. Kernel version: 2.6.36.3
5. Build number: K1_A301_12_12_120109_M_SG
6. Carrier In Question: AIRTEL (Delhi NCR)
Issues I face:
1. 3G is not working with any SIM/Carrier
The SIM has been tested on Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy NOTE. The Data services are active and working fine with the carrier and SIM.
2. Since the latest update (3.2.1) Once the Tab goes into sleep mode (either through a timeout or by short pressing Power button) The display refuses to come back ON. Even if it does, it stays ON only for a couple of seconds. I have to restart the TAB to start working with it Again.
I am a novice when it comes to modding/rooting a tab... but fully aware of changing ROMs with Devices like Galaxy S and Galaxy Note. So My knowledge can be termed as "better than a toddler".
Any help with the above mentioned problems is truly appreciated.

Don't use the auto brightness I'm sure that's what causes the sleep issues if I remember correctly as for 3g dk I got a wifi only k1 hope this helps you a bit lemme know what happens

Thanks zombie...the brightness fix that u gave helped the display issue.. m still searching for any one who can help me with thd 3G/UMTS issue... can changing ROM to any other version (as posted in android development) help in fixing this issue?

[Q] Unable to register to Network (SM-G530FZ)

I have rooted my device SM-G530FZ. SE for Android status shows permissive and no code is appearing whereas when I have checked the other rooted device of the same model it shows "Enforcing SEPF_SM-G530FZ_4.4.4_0033 Fri Jan 23 17:06:33 2015. I don't understand why my device shows permissive without any other details. Can someone help me out to enable SE for Android on my device. Thanks

Hello, this is herna from XDA Assist.
Normally when you root your device this kind of problems are not normal. I don´t know the process you used, but seems that you changed the kernel, and this is one of the reasons of why it´s not working correctly.
My suggestion is to do a factory reset on your phone or flash an official firmware trough any Samsung installer, if there is, or manually.

Galaxy e7 support

Hello hope you are all fine . Could you please direct me where i can get help on fixing my wifi. I recently updated my galaxy e7 from a kit kat vers to a lollipop but since mexico is so slow at receiving ota i installed firmware from brazil same carrier same model number just different country and region everything works great the upgrade was success but only one set back my wifi worked only a few hours after the up date now wifi is disabled ant wont turn on at all can you please direct me to someone that can help me solve the issue someone other than at&t thanks

Hi, I'm in need of Android 6.0 13032017 Flash File for Elephone S7 4G 64GB. All the available mega download links are dead. Also is your gps navigation working ?
m thinking to sell the phone

wifi range is normal just like any other phone. Haven't tried gos navigation but location services are working as normal. Haven't faced any issues after fixing wifi mac issue

and i think its a great phone for the price, functionality is smooth haven't experienced any lags so far. battery time is also good.

Galaxy S8 Duos G950FD does not get any update

I purchased Galaxy S8 G950FD 5 months ago from the UAE. Since that time I have not received any update even security update.
I asked Samsung and they said that this version will not receive any update in the Netherlands.
Do you know any way to get the wifi update?
On the other hand, I tried to flash the new software rom by Odin, but I am facing a problem with Odin, it stops at SET PARTITION and does not go on.
Ant solution?
