Home screen icons and buttons on home screen doubled. - LG V20 Questions & Answers

Hello,
Thank you for your willingness to help me with this odd situation.
The TM variant of the LG V20 has been my daily driver for at least 5 years when I finally needed to replaced it due to charging issues. I bought and returned an LG V60 and a OnePlus 7 Pro. In the end I went back to what I know, another LG V20 which worked flawlessly untill this morning when suddenly my icon folders would not open. I redid all folders exactly as they were but rather than to replace the 1st set of folders the 2nd set stacked themselves on top of the 1st set. I removed the 2nd set, but 1st set still won't open and also can't be removed by dragging them to top of screen. Home screen buttons have "doubles" now and screen looping doesn't work anymore either even though looping setting is enabled.
I have cleared the cache, turned phone off and on and removed the battery ..... rudimentary I know.
Hopefully you will be able to help me solve this problem. Thank you very much

[Q] Notification Bar and power off glitch

This is a rather advanced site to post a question on. I'm just wondering if there's anyone here who can shed any light on this problem.
I have a Note 10.1 (2014) Wi-Fi only. I have an issue pulling down the notification bar, my gesture sometimes does not register. When I press the power button to lock the device, I see a quick flash of a blue screen. Lastly, there are times when I try to power off the entire device and I get this screen instead of the regular power off options. I see the attached images. Apparently tapping 'OK' does not switch off the device, but tapping 'Cancel' does. I have turned off and on the device but the glitch happens off and on.

The first issue I had with my note and it was being caused by the magnet in the case. Pulled the case away from the body and heu presto the problem goes away. The second problem I also had and it was caused by one of the modules I used in the xposed framework. Have you recently installed any xposed modules if so I would disable them all first then reactivate them 1 by 1 till you find the conflict.

The band is easily visible. It explains my problem. The rest of the touchscreen works fine.
Only noticed over the past week or so that typing on the keyboard in certain spots while in landscape causes two keys to always be hit instead of one.
I remember reading a thread earlier were people had many problems with the touchscreen. Should I ask the warranty service for an s4 or 2013 moto x instead? I don't want this happening again.
Edit:
Them seems to explain it PERFECTLY:

I've had this issue happen to two LG G2s, if you look at the dead band it seems to line up perfectly with the power button on the back of the phone. It seems to me that pressing the power button is putting force on the digitizer from the back and 'killing' that section of the touchscreen. I've swapped the entire internals of a phone to a new digitizer that did not exhibit the issues so I don't see how it could be software related.

I'm not getting another G2.

LG G2 dead spot and ghost touch (middle of the lower half). Help!

I bought a (supposedly) brand new LG g2 D802 off ebay a few months back
I bricked it while updating through pc and later found out that it has the internals of D800 but I was then able to revive it to its full glory (thanks to the help i got here)
but now one morning i randomly got this

also i get horizontal ghost touches inside the dead spot
though they vanish (not always) after i lock the screen and then unlock it, but return in a few minutes
i looked around but most people have this dead spot in the upper half of the screen in line with the power key
rest everything works fine
please suggest a course of action!!
How should i proceed?
(i've tried hard reset but to no avail, now thinking of replacing the screen or whatever I'm supposed to)
looking forward to your help again!

Need help: G2 D800 shows small display; tried factory restore - no luck

Hi everyone,
I am hoping for some advice with my G2 - D800 cell phone.
First, I have not done anything unusal to this phone. It is just the way I purchased it ~ 2 yrs ago.
This week I was using it like normal in the morning and it was behaving just like it normal does. Then I went to use it again in the afternoon, and I got this small display with weird pictures (it scrolls through 3 different ones actually) that I had not seen before.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I was not able to do anything to open the cell phone to the main "desktop."
After restarting several times, I obtaining the same small image/unable to access phone problem.
Next, I tried restoring to factory defaults. Shortly after doing this I saw the normal "desktop" (see below):
Eventually, the cell phone reverted to the small window problem.
I tried the factory reset a couple of more time with no luck.
I also took it to the AT&T store (no help, although they tried) and a local cell phone repair shop (they tried replacing battery, but didn't fix the problem).
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get this working again?
Thanks,
Rob

Does your Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus have this touchscreen issue?

Hi, I have a Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus (TB-X704L), latest firmware:

}
I noticed a bad touchscreen behaviour when I tap or swipe in the top area (near the top edge - where there are the 2 speakers). If I try to draw a line slowly, it often results in a dotted or strange zig-zag line. This means that, for example, when I scroll a pdf i get a very uncomfortable behaviour. I made ad ad example:
(I also wrote here to receive feedbacks, with no luck.)
It happens with every kind of app.
I tried factory reset and wipe cache, but the problem remained, so i contacted Lenovo assistance. I received (after a month) my tablet from under warranty repair service. They changed my screen with a new one, they wrota "changer screen and passed gerenal testing" but the problem is still here.
Do you also notice that problem? Did you solve it in any way?
Please, answer also if you don't have the problem so i can establish if this is a faulty device or not.
Thank you very much.
