I have what seems to be a t3 p1 head unit, unsure of manufacture but maybe allwinner? Anyway the current build is “t3_p1-eng 8.1.0 OPM1.171019.02620191227-144100 test-keys”
What would be a suitable update? It’s running very slow. Also wanting to root it so I can freeze some apps to speed it up

Is it possible to "root" the new Pumpkin Android 7.1.2 Octa Core Head Units?
This is my first head unit and I was wondering if it is possible to do so. I am new to the rooting tablet/android devices. I will be checking out FCC Launcher and CarWebGuru soon. As of now I am using Nova Launcher as I use this on my phone.
Here is my current build if this matters at all...
Processor Type - UltraOcta-T8
Android Version - 7.1.2
MCU Version - T8.3.19-11-00-453101-171129-UNIVERSAL
System Version - V9.2.2_20180120.164839_KED3-5
DVD Version - 2.13.15-860MC-160106
Have you figured out if there was a way to root this head unit I'm still looking myself
I cant get any support from company on my head unit.
Also user interface is not that friendly.
What information do I need to safely upgrade to custom software/firmware ?
Knowing info :
android 8.1
4gb/16gb
octacore processor
px5
Hello there! I am a new member in this forum, and after searching a lot (and being confused a lot) about my newly installed Android Head Unit, i decided to post some questions i have, hoping for answers from some people with more knowledge than mine.
About a month ago i got a head unit installed on my Opel Corsa D and from there on i kept digging into it.
The manual of the HU was branded as "Bizzar Multimedia" so i can't know the exact manufacturer, so i can't really search for updates
As it was advertised to me and as the info of it says, it is an Android 9 version, but i know it is lower, like 7.
Here are some info about the HU:
CPU: 1.6Ghz 4 Core T3 Allwinner Cortex-A7
RAM: 2GB DDR3
ROM: 16GB
Android version: 9
MCU Version: T5.3.19-122-81-A46601-200528
System version: V8.1.0_20200616.105644_KLD4-CarPlay-P
Kernel version: 4.9.56
Version Number: t3_p1-eng 8.1.0 OPM1.171019.026 20200420-180438
test-keys
My (probably) dumb questions now...
1. Is there any way i can upgrade the head unit to a real Android 9+?
I think that the version it says is fake cause i have seen some Android 9 units, and it is nothing like mine
2. I want to understand about MCU updates and how i can make one if there is any newer MCU
I want to undestand more so i hope i am asking the right questions.
I am sorry for my luck of knowledge but if somehow i can provide some more info, please tell me how to...
I would be very greatfull if somebody can help me with my android head unit.
It is Dasaita px3 model running android 7.1.2 and I like to use apple carplay.
The ZLINK app was not preinstalled, I installed by myself but I get "channel missmatch" error.
Any suggestions?
Also I would like to know if there is anyway to update to a newer version of Android and in case I can update.
Thanks for your time
HI all!
I have an erisin head unit in my vw golf and started acting up so i ran a reset. Still had the same issue so ran a 2nd reset. Still same issue. Turns out it is caused by the Android System Webview update. If i uninstall the update (yes its horribly insecure) google login, waze, and other apps sart working. HAs anyone run into something like this before?
(Android version: 10, patch level 2020)
Hallo, it's a known android 10 issue on px30, px5 and px6, MTCD/E, so far the only solution is to uninstall and disable webview and chrome updates. Try to write to the seller about a firmware update that will fix this problem.

Or install alternative ROM HAL9K mod 5.0 and buy mod updates, the last paid update is 5.2, it fixes this problem, but it may cause another problem, after this update, some types of bluetooth modules don't work, please read the thread first:
