Hi guys,
I am a new membie, currently self-learning and trying to translate the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond game into Vietnamese.
I downloaded and installed the game from the .nsp file using Yuzu, then used Yuzu to Dump RomFS.
I found the path containing the game's text at romfs\StreamingAssets\AssetAssistant\Message.

I tried opening the file for the "English" language with HXD and found it to be UnityFS.
Therefore, I used AssetBundleExtractor to extract it into .txt format as shown in the image below.
I have tried translating some assets and importing them back into the file.
I tried going to File => Apply and Save All. UABE helped me create a save as an english-mod file
Now, how can I put it into the game and test it with the newly edited language?
I am attaching some files below for easy reference:
english: original language file
english-decompressed: decompressed language file
english-mod: language file that I saved from UABE.

I have written two tools for opening, editing and saving either registry type files (rgu and reg) or xml files.
The reg/rgu tool can be used for editing files to be imported
The xml tool was written for use with UC to alter provisioning xml files on the go.
Both tools have been tested with .NET CF 3.5 although should work with .NET CF 2.0.
Screen shots are of the XML tool only but the design is identical.

To use, simply press the "File" button and select open or save, select the file you want and edit it accordingly.

I have htc mogul 6800 from sprint and would like to delete bubblebreaker.exe from windows folder so I or my family members can't access it again. It kills our lots of time.
I tried from tom's blog but it does not help.
Thanks.
in notepad on pc create a dummy file called bubblebreaker.exe. Now rename bubblebreaker.exe file that already exists in windows directory to something else and place the file you created in windows directory. Delete the original file and you should be good to go.
Haven't tried this but i am pretty sure this will work. Let me know how it turns out.
An addiction to Bubble Breaker = New Thread???????

... I was wondering if it'd be easy to translate as everything in the app is in chinese language.
I guess it's only a matter of edditing .xml files, ¿right?
The problem I've encountered with is that when I try to open any .xml file it toss me an error and does not open the file. Also this happens with almost all other .xml files I've tried to open of any other aplications so I guess there must be a method to open theses files to edit the text strings.
Here are some screenshots as proof.

The xml's won't show up in their original form if you just open the apk. . and hex editing is a *****. You'd need to decompile the apk in order to edit the xml's.
apktool is a really awesome tool for quick xml edits
