alphabetical contact scrolling

does anyone know if there's app for nexus one alphabetical contact scrolling to show on the side just similar to iphone?

Good, the standard contacts app has it... see the grey thing on the right? Slide it up and down!

Another option is to use the gesture search app. Have a shortcut on your screen to it, activate it and type the name of the contact you're trying to find. I find it quicker to access contacts in many instances.

How to get the four fancy shortcut-buttons I see on some pictures?

On some pictures I see 4 ¨large icons at the bottom of the HTC UI. Assuming it is shortcuts, I would very much like to have them, but I dont know how. I downloaded the TD 2 Tools program, which also have the "Enable Programs Tab", but I dont know if its the same. Anywho, when trying to enable it has always removed the tick in the box when I apply settings and restart my device.
To put it short: Is it possible to get the shortcut icons, and how?

Instead of a ROM modification, why don't you try installing some apps from the Market to take screenshots when you want? "ShootMe", "Screenshot It" are some that I found from a Google search.

I use them, but the screenshot in the power menu is more comfortable and faster

Hi all today i noticed a search bar in multitask menu. I am confused a little bit, is it there before. U guys pls check it.

U r right. I like the iOS search style. Pull down the app drawer to activate search. Zero launcher have that kind of feature. But its not too gud.

I'm wondering, since I have not come up with any results searching for a specific App which is automated. I have found instructions on how to accomplish the same result. I'm looking for a click and pick/choose option. yea, it sounds lazy. But, my girlfriend is NOT technically adept and ask me this question.
I have found nothing Other than Zedge which is not what im looking for. I'm looking to change every sound thats associated with an action. Swipe, Tap, etc..
Is there anything out such as this?
I should add also that she is unwilling to Root her phone....
