Hey y'all. I tried updating my PX5 (I had the latest HZC mcu installed) 6.0.1 to android 8.0 using this guide
After booting into recovery, I tried to select the update.img file through the SD card but nothing happened.
After nearly giving up, I decided to try the same thing using USB drive. I was able to select the img file, they screen showed a few lines of text and just instantly turned off.
I tried to boot it, enter recovery mode or what not but nothing happened.
If I hold the RST button for 10s~ the non-phsyical side buttons blink for 5s, but nothing happens. I was not able to return back to the recovery mode.
Is there anything to do to solve this? My PX5 has 1 USB slot and 1 TF slot. I assume it does not have GPS sd slot so that's why the file could not be read, and either I had a corrupted file on my USB drive or it's just impossible to do through USB and it bricked my device.
I would appreciate any help with solving this brick, It was a mistake trying to upgrade from the first place..
If there is nothing to do, i'll just go and buy a new head unit, I wanted to upgrade because it lacked some features and the UI was very simple and outdated.
I don't have a photo of the MCU, but i had the MTCE_HZC_2.94b installed from here: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/umCvHqCDzHccr
I also downloaded the update files from here, following the guide above.
Before updating the MCU, I had the MTCE_HZC_2.74 installed by stock. The MCU update worked well, the android upgrade failed utterly.
Now the unit won't turn on at all and there is a black screen. long pressing the RST button until the side buttons blink does not boot the device into recovery. seems like even recovery got corrupted somehow.
After some research, I found out that I can use OTG cable to flash the firmware and recovery using a PC.
Will I be able to flash android 8-10 directly instead of flashing the android 6? or I'd have to flash directly android 6?
If so, where can I get the frimware/img file i'll need to flash?
EDIT:
I tried to connect the system to a laptop using USB A to A cable but the rockchip tool did not recognize it..
any other ways or the unit is lost?

I've probably used the LG Flash Tool 10 times the past week on both my home and work computer with no problems. Last night I flashed the KK bootloader and a stock 5.0.2 ROM (after tot'ing back to 4.4.2, rooting, etc).
It hangs at the LG logo and that's where I'm stuck. I tried going into Download Mode, but suddenly both of my computers won't see the phone and give me an error in Device Manager. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling the drivers as well. Why in the world would that happen unless somehow Download Mode was corrupted, possibly? But it goes into Download Mode fine, and appears to look right...
I've tried getting into recovery but can't. When it should load up TWRP (after telling the G2's "stock" recovery screen I do want to reset), I get the green spinning Android (not the red exclamation) for a second, then it tries to boot up.

Any advice would be appreciated as I've never run into this before.
So when the green Android popped up, I tried to hit a combination of the volume and power keys and WAS able to get into recovery. Unfortunately, it appears, somehow, TWRP was overwritten by the stock recovery. I have no idea how that could've happened. Or does stock recovery technically stay in place since this is "loki'd" and not actually unlocked? And if so, is there some way to get back to TWRP that I'm unaware of?
To add to the weirdness, when I plug it in to charge, it doesn't pull up the battery like it usually does when powered off, it just tries to boot up again...
If I could just get the computers to recognize it again...
Installing the LG PC Suite got my drivers to a point where it could recognize it while in Download Mode. MTP still didn't work, but that didn't matter for Download Mode. Not sure what happened, but at least I was able to flash it back again.
Hi
I managed to screw up by flashing a Nougat-to-Marshmallow downgrade (1st of two) update.app whilst still on Marshmallow.
M3 now shows Huawei logo in a loop.
Entered fastboot & rescue mode using Vol-/Power, and saw AP_S_ABNORMAL.
HiSuite system recovery procedure led to "Your device is not supported for system recovery".
Since my M3 bootloader is locked, I guess there is nothing more that can be done.
Still, if an experienced user has any angle, it would be most welcome!
Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue. My wife dropped her phone in some water so i disassembled the phone. It was also trying to upgrade the firmware as i was taking it apart but i pulled the battery from the device (I panicked). So i have got everything working again. but i can't boot into the device. It only displays the time after startup. I have tried factory resetting, dowloading firmware and putting it on the sdcard in the dload folder but, alas, so far no luck getting it going. I also entered the fastboot & rescue mode using Vol-/Power, and saw AP_S_ABNORMAL message. In addition to that it also said PHONE_LOCK and FRP_LOCK.

It's a pretty delicate device. I bricked mine with an unlocked bootloader. There's no low level chipset utilities like there is for the qualcomm chips. I'm so stupid I got the M5; won't be piddling with this one. If someone normal would only make a decent LTE TAB I'd gladly run screaming from huawei.
Try the "dload" method. Create a "dload" folder on the sdcard and put the second "update.app" into it. Now boot into recovery by shutting the device off and starting it with all 3 hardware buttons pressed.

I did this but it says update failed.
Howdy everyone...
OnePlus 7t Pro McLaren edition (International Edition **NOT T-MOBILE**)
Model: HD1913
Current Software Build: Oxygen OS 10.0.5.HD01AA (OTA update when I first unboxed).
I am having issues trying to return to stock. I rooted the phone with a combination of a couple guides found here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/10-0-3-patched-boot-image-oneplus-7t-pro-t3986351 and . I noticed after doing that I was missing the stock Oxygen apps and my build information was missing data. Not a huge deal, but I need to wipe the phone and start from scratch anyway, for other reasons. I decided to go back to stock if I have to redo everything anywhere.
First thing I tried, I got the stock firmwares (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/oneplus-7t-pro-repo-oxygen-os-builds-t4003455). And this is where my issues started. My software build is weird... I have the HD1913, however my software build is HD01AA. Per that post, I should have HD01BA. I grabbed both of them for giggles, put them on my storage and booted into TWRP. Tried to flash the HD01AA (since that was what I have now), and it failed. Tried the other one, same issue. I'm getting a bunch of errors while trying to mount the system ("System unable to mount: invalid argument").
Second thing I tried, was to use the built in software update that OnePlus says to use (through the system update). It wouldn't install them (surprise).
Third attempt... Using the MsmDownloadTool (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/op7tpro-unbrick-tool-to-restore-device-t4002909) I downloaded both versions cause I don't know which to use, and followed the instructions to get the phone into the mode. Turn the phone off, hold the vol up button and plug the cable in (very simple). It shows up connected in the software. Exactly 5 seconds later, the phone reboots and boots normally... I repeat this process aprox. 2.3 million more times. It does not matter what USB-C cable I use, the port on my computer, or how long I hold the buttons. The phone will boot into the download mode (or whatever it's called) show up as connected in MsmDownload and then reboot.
The phone works. I am still able to boot it up.... All I want to do is get this phone back to stock. I don't HAVE to, but now that it's fighting me, I have to beat it...

Okay - After sacrificing an iPhone to the Android God, I got it.
Instead of using the button combination to get into EDL Mode, I found an article that gave an adb command (adb reboot edl) to get to it. It did not reboot this time, and I was able to flash HD01BA to it, which matches what the phone should have...
Hello everyone,
I did something stupid I think .
To begin with:
A few days ago I installed the Lite firmware from Malaysk for the PX6 STM32: Link . Everything went fine until...
Today I installed my reverse camera, and I noticed that there where some issues, so I tought to restore the firmware back to the stock firmware with the one I found here: Link .
Name of the firmware:KC1E0110-P01-1.1.4.3.1_20200323_160300.
I've downloaded the firmware and put it on a USB stick (formatted to FAT32), the unit recognized the update and I clicked on the arrow to update the device..... After that the Unit rebooted and the startup (Opel) logo appeared. After that it goes to a black screen. I've waited and waited, but nothing happend. :crying:
I't goes to the Boot screen (Opel Logo) and continue's to a black screen. I also tried to enter recovery mode, but without any chance. There is also not so much information available for the PX6 Eunavi/Bosion radio's.
I've uploaded a video to Youtube, concerning this problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQav_5BJWxI
What I tried so far:
Press the reset button
Update the original firmware by using the SDDiskTool and the firmware file found here: https://yadi.sk/d/IcibzBqDuAEh5Q but no result. It seems that it reacts on the GPS SD card slot by giving a distorted image.
Before I try to put the radio in Maskrom mode, this is my last hope.
Please can someone help me further, I also contacted Eunavi for support.
Thanks in advance!

Update 03-07-2020:
- Tried it again by disconnecting the battery from the car, but with no result.
- Flashed the recovery file through the rockhip Rockchip Create Upgrade Disk Tool v1.53 on a normal FAT32 USB. Nothing happends.
- It seems that only the GPS SD CARD slot is responding with booting up from SD. When i put the micro SD card in the GPS Slot and boot up the device, it gives a distorted screen.
- I also contacted Bosion and Eunavi, Bosion is responding but doesn't want to help me with how to enter the recovery mode.
Bosion confirms that Eunavi is just a reseller of these units. I advice people the next time to buy directly from Bosion. They are responding fast.
just connect a keyboard on BACK SIDE USB it is important front side doesnt work connect via backside usb press ctrl+alt+del device will restart than rapidly pres i key while holding alt + printscreen pray god for me
or just reflash the firmware

A few years ago, I installed a custom rom (Havoc OS) on my N910C, I didn't have any problems with it til 5 months later, it started freezing randomly, so I decided to go back to my stock firmware. I installed it using odin as usual, but for some reason, after flashing, it was stuck on this boot text

I know I had installed the right variants because I remembered my CSC code was Vietnam. I also tried other rom regions but nothing seems to work
(I tried UK, Australia, Philippines, Arab Erimates, Canada, New Zealand)
I even tried to flash the full firmware (AP BL CSC CP AND PIT) but I don't seem to make progress. I don't know what I did wrong? Did I hard brick my device? I can still access Download Mode but that's all it can do, Please I need it to fix it asap, any help is greatly appreciated.
I also noticed that you can fix a hard brick device through an SD CARD and I don't have the debrick file and I am confused with the procedure.

Update: I downloaded a debrick bin file from a website so I decided to flash it using win32diskimager with my FAT32 sdcard, I inserted that card from my bricked phone and I powered it on but nothing seems to be happening? It's just on the Boot screen, any help please

Mostly, after reinstalling a stock rom you have to make a factory reset to boot it normally.
Go into stock recovery and delete cache and perform factory reset.
Hope it works.

If I press Volume + Power + Home, my phone would power on but it would just be stuck on the boot screen same as this
