MS provided a clear explanation:
Sometimes USB cable needs to be directly connected to the port on the back of the computer to upgrade device.
My problem was USB cable extender.
Removed it and it worked like a charm.
KraFT

Try installing latest Samsung USB drivers on your PC or smart switch which will do it for you.
This happens because my phones usb port is not as secure as it used to be. The slightest movement of the usb cable causes my phone to lose connection. This is not a driver issue. I just want this phone to stop spamming this useless notification that interrupts me using the phone while its charging. Im looking for a solution that involves modifying my phone to disable this notification, im already rooted and I need to know if anyone out there has done this.
Hey everyone,
i have a issue with my head unit.
I bought it with android 7.1 and updated to 8.1 now.

I want to update or recover firmware now, but when i plug usb stick with the file (px6) doesnt work, does not do anything.
Before, i get pop up message for update but now i cant do anything.
What am i doing wrong? How can i update or reset?

no one?
help please?
I accidently pressed open bootloader when it had Unknown bootloader instead of back to recovery. Now when the TV turns on it keeps showing the philips logo and it goes black, i do not even see the android tv logo. I have tried many combinations (power button + down or up and so on) but the tv does not do anything only the light blinks white. I need to get hold of a male usb to male usb because i think i will need it to fix this but does anybody know how to get into the fastboot or recovery section using physical keys or remote?
