Hey everyone! I have a LeEco Le Pro3, which has been sitting my drawer for about 2-3 years now? I used to play around with it and use roms with it, however I remember 3 years ago the battery started dying (go from 50% to 20% to 100% quickly) and now it just shows the question mark. I am guessing this means that the battery is toast, is there anyway to run the phone without the battery?

Hello,
I have a new S200 and i noticed that every time I charge the battery its life time is shorten - I have omega battery pack installed and in first few time with a fully chard battery the battery meter was at 5 hours but now after 3 weeks a fully chard batters has only 3.5 hours left .
is it possible ?
starnge
I have the same problem with my Prophet -
I have a new Prophet, last month the battery lasted at least 5 hours ( I am using a battery plugin that show the battery time left ) and today if I get 3 hours I am glad , no changes ware made to the device .
I turn my Prophet Off every night - could it be the problem ?
You didn't enable the bluetooth or wifi option? Because those eat up battery quite fast. And did you do a rom update? Some gsm updates cause more drain on the battery.
And perhaps it could be some programs use up the battery, but can't be sure about that though.
My BT is enable because I use BT headset all the time and I'v upgraded my rom to"RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe" .
I heve no programs running at all (except 3 from the startup).
But the main problem is not how fast the battery ends, but a full battery last 3 Horus when a month ago it lasted 5 ...
Mine discharges in a day, without any call made and only 30 min of usage
Have U tried switching the IRDA off ? 'Cause by default it's on.
the irda kind of doesn't consume at all..
I guess I had this trouble with every phone I got, the first 2 weeks are always giving better battery time, and it quickly decrease to a more "stable" state... Don't know why btw...
Are you still noticing a shortened battery life now compared to last week ? Keep testing, I bet this is already gone.
i doubt that it gets to a "Stable" state. i've been experiencing the same strange issue for 2 weeks now, in the exact same conditions as described in the first post (battery pack pro installed). i don't use IR/BT, i have no viruses, it's just the same phone. it also turns off from time to time, on no apparent regular basis. i am just preparing to rewrite the ROM, perhaps it helps.
p.s.: i've been using it for some time now (since it came on market), so it's kind of strange this started happening so sudden.
if there are no other obvious reasons you might try this tweak, which, they say, is helpful sometimes. I did it and now my phone loses 1-2 percent in standby mode in 7-9 hours and one battery charge lasts for 2.5 days of moderate use. good luck.

Did you install the A2DPfix.cab to avoid the skipping problem ?
Alright, I own a Sprint CDMA HTC Touch Diamond. The battery life is seemingly atrocious!! I have just been charging it like an idiot (i never let it drain to full depletion) by plugging it in everytime is gets low.
I have not updated anything (got the stock sprint rom and no apps that run in the background), and have changed all of the suggested windows mobile power settings to low (email to every hour/once a day - brightness i left on auto detect - no vibrated notices - turned off all unused data connections).
I woke up at 9am, talked on the phone til 10am, and played with a few things (10 mins pocket express and 10 mins with some stupid apps i was messing with) and the battery is half drained already after charging all night. It is 11:40am right now.
I read that a lot of people are having this problem but that the phone infact won't turn off for hours and hours after the battery shows the (!)-Battery Low notification.
Is there anything I can do to make the battery read correctly as I hate being without a phone, have only had it for a few days, and don't want to drop money right away for an extra wall charger and car charger. Any suggestions or know of any updates I could install to show me the actual battery life?? Any and all help would be great!! Thanks in advance!!
- Steve
Good day guys
Sorry if this is the wrong section for my post, not sure with the new XDA Site where to post it. I have a 3 day old Note 4 (SM-N910H) which on a full charge doesn't last 5 hours. Now I know a lot of you guys are going to ask what ive done and what i need to check. I am not new to Android Devices and this is my 3rd Galaxy Range Phone. So what iv'e done is charged it full to 100% at 9pm Saturday night, then went to bed, disabled Mobile Data and Sync and put phone on Silent. Sunday morning I woke up at 3am and wanted to see what time it is on my phone and it was dead. I put it on charge for 5 mins and switched it on on 3% bat. This is not right! I then decided to look for apps that drain the battery and couldn't find anything, so I backed up my phone and did a factory reset/wipe to see if maybe the OS wasn't messing around ......... So Sunday evening I did the same thing, charged it full and then disabled Mobile Data, Sync and put phone on silent, same thing ..... dead phone by 5am. I don't think enabling Power saving is going to make a difference cause the screen brightness is set to Auto, I dont like the CPU performance being limited in Power Saving, but still this is way to fast battery draining for a new device. I had a look at the aplications/OS battery usage and cant find anything wrong, the screen only takes 4% ...... Ive attached a screenshot of the running apps/battery usage. Ohhhh yes and the phone already has the latest firmware update too. SO I am thinking Faulty Battery?

you definitely have a defected unit..return it when you can
Clash of Clans is an out-of-the-box software ?
So you installed some more apps. Maybe some of them are causing wakelocks, draining the battery.
I'd try that infamous "factory reset" and checking if battery life gets better with NO additional apps installed prior to sending back the Note.

What's "WhatsApp" doing with your battery? I use WA a lot, and it's not consuming that much!
Thanks guys, I manged to solve the problem. I also thought of returning the device (more likely Battery). Here is what I did. I disabled fast charge, then let the phone run completely dead like till it shuts down, then i boot it again until it shuts down again making sure the battery is completely drained. Then I charge the phone on a normal charge (keeping the phone switched off) till its fully charged (green Light) and I sort of overcharge it for another hour, which on normal charge plus extra hour is about 3 hours +-. Now my phone after his last charge is running more than 16 hours and now on 52% still playing Clash of clans, using Whatsapp a lot, BBM etc
Maybe spread the word cause this has surely fixed the charge on the battery
I don't know what the hell is going on with my Note 4 (SM-N910F), but my battery is draining a lot faster then it ever has. A couple months ago i rooted my phablet, tried out two or three different custom ROMS (Omega was one of them), but my Note 4 got so hot it got into a bootloop as soon as I entered my PIN. I reflashed stock ROM and it was back to normal again, but lately it started to warn me for low battery (the 5% warning) and turn off itself in seconds even when i had 20-30% battery left. This didn't happen every day, but it was annoying. So i re-rooted and installed CM 12.1 thinking it was the 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 stock updates. The first night I charged it all night but only got 83% battery when I woke up 9-10h later. Today when I was scrolling FB with 35% battery left, the phone warned me about low battery and dropped to 5%. Is it possible that the battery drain is because the overheating could have caused some damage to the phone/battery? I tried calibrating the battery two times, did everything I could find on the net, but nothing helped. I would like to know if there could be something more than the battery that could cause this because I don't want to buy another one for nothing.
you could try to re-calibrate your battery, you can find a app for that on playstore.
is your phone still getting hot when your battery drain is high?
you could post an image of your battery stats from settings or better battery stats so we can see, why it's empty so fast
I already tried that two times, it did make the battery last a bit longer but the 35%-5% problem is still there. I'm new to XDA so I can't upload the screenshot but I can't see any app or activity that's draining the battery. I've done everything I could find in the forums (lower screen brightnes, turned off auto wake, even downloaded kernel adiutor and changed some settings a guy posted) but nothing has changed.. I'm just wondering if it's the battery that's the problem or something else so I don't fo out and give out money for a new battery if it won't help..
And yes, my phone is still getting hot when the battery is draining fast.. I do have an insurance that I could use but if it's just the battery then I can buy a new one. I forgot to mention that the phone gets pretty hot when I charge it, somewhere above the battery connectors. Eather that or the micro-USB connector, or even both at the same time.. The cable has turned yellow just under the connector so I don't know if it could be the charget that messed it up. This started before I even flashed a custom ROM.
Well I couldn't take it anymore and decided to downgrade my phone back to 4.4.4 which it came with. 9h on battery, Spotify was playing for 3h, played a little on Snes emulator, facebook, chrome, and I still jave 56% battery left. Seems to me that I was one of them who got the f*cked update for 5.0.1 and 5.1.1.. my phone is back to normal with speed, battery usage and heat. I'll let the battery drain completely today and see if it will turn off at 25-5% like it used to. The worst thing is that a game I used to play dosn't work on 4.4.4.. but it's still worth it!
Had this 3 years now, at first for the first month or two the battery life was great, I disable data, nfc, location, Google auto sync, turn on battery saver most of the time
After that period the battery was lucky to last 5 or 6 days, which may sound good but it was double that when I first got it.
Installed various custom roms over the years (and Im sure I have installed different kernels too but I can't find any on here so may be mixed up with my other phone)
No difference.
Most recently about 2 months ago changed to Official Lineage Android 12 and again for first charge or two it was fine then battery was lucky to last 4 days.
Most recently I charged overnight and had everything turned off (though literally just before I started this thread noticed NFC was enabled) it was 100% for first few hours, then 99 after I did a quick data enable and looked at something, then went down to 98, then 97 shortly after despite data being disabled.
I also took 2 photos.
Looked at my phone 20 minutes ago and it was down to 15% and now its 12%, a reboot didn't change it.
Only other thing I think it can be is about 6 weeks ago I changed what charger I used, used to use a PD charger, can't remember wattage but it wasn't the weakest and just now changed to a higher wattage one that I had in a drawer for a long time as the removable head was broken, I used to use a cable from a Oneplus 7t Pro now I use the one that came with the charger so it could also be a dodgy cable however this same cable chargers my Oneplus and that lasted 10 days even with checking the internet a few times, unless my Mi Mix doesn't like the charger and/or cable.
Any ideas?
Sometimes when I fix phones with battery drain by doing factory reset, their battery life increase. Maybe it just apps or personalized setting, Do a factory reset. Be sure to back up you files.
