Question Battery charging issues - Nothing Phone 1

I keep getting this issue while charging: the charger keeps disconnecting and reconnecting with the phone. After restarting the phone it charges normally again but the second time I connect it, it produces the same issue. I'm on 13 beta 1.5.1.
Using a Samsung 45W quick charger. Checked port, clean. Checked cable, seems intact.

I'm on 1.5.1 beta 2 . I use a 25W (Samsung) , 33W (Motorola) , 65W (OnePlus) and a NoName 30-ish W quick chargers . All work well . No problems . Check your charger & cable .

Anyone have charging problems with Note 4 ? No fast charging , not charging at all

HI everyone Anyone have charging problems with Note 4 ? No fast charging , not charging at all?
I was having an issue with no fast charging. Changed the usb cable and blam, works like a charm now. Check your cables first before buying a charger.

Everything was working fine for me and than before 2 days for no reason fast charging don't work for me for no reason with my original cable and adapter for fast carge. I tryed carge on other 5 cable and adapters and the phone don't won't even charge at all ...nothing happens when I plug in ....only on original charger start charging and 2 min later start discharge and pop up message if I want to share power (give power to other device )???
In the end my phone died and I couldn't charge it to start up ...so I buyed external battery charger for note 4 and charge battery , and Flash PIT file + original stock rom in 1 flashing process and now charging on all 6 chargers with no problem.
I was trying with flashing 4 different stock firmware but didn't help until I included PIT file.
Before I across charging problem I was running Kybi note 5 port and was working week's normally.
Now I'm afraid to run any custom rom ...lol
Humm that's a strange problem to have. You can check under the battery setting in settings and make sure fast charging is checked.
One night i was charging my Note 910g as per normal using the fast charger. The next morning it died off and when i press to turn on, it warned me that there was a high temperature of over 90 degrees and therefore caused the shut off. From then on i cant charge using the usb port on the phone. My laptop cant detect the device so ended up charging using the portable cradle. Found out the charging port on the phone shorted. So i ordered from eBay and have it fixed cause i cant send to Samsung even it is only 5 months old due to tripped knox status.

Rapid Chargers No Longer Charge!

One of the things I loved about the Nexus 6P was how fast the stock Huawei Type C charger would charge the phone. I would plug it into the phone, the phone would show "Charging Rapidly" and a lightning bolt on the battery icon and in no time at all it would be charged. But about a week ago it stopped working. And I don't mean just stopped "Charging Rapidly", I mean no charging at all - no lightning bolt on the battery icon. At first, I thought I saw an occasional flash of lightning on the battery - just for a moment - but not enough to charge the battery. The battery would continue to lose power while it was plugged in. So I tried different outlets thinking maybe something had gone wrong with that one, but no luck. I decided the stock Huawei charger or its Type C cord had gone bad, so I ordered what appeared to be a very similar one, the SONEic 5.0V-3A, 15 Watt charger, which had excellent ratings and reviews from Amazon. But it also failed - not merely in "Charging Rapidly", but in charging at all. Note that my non-rapid-charging charger that I use at night still works just fine. Does anyone know what is wrong here and/or how to fix it?
So you're saying that any [email protected] charger won't work? Are you using the same cord for both the Huawei and SONEEic adaptors? What is your non rapid charging charger exactly? Using a different cord? USB-C? USB A to C?

Thank you, eregev, for responding.
I have only tried the original stock Huawei charger and its type-C-to-type-C cord and the new SONEic charger and its type-C-to-type-C cord. (Note that I have corrected the spelling of "SONEic" in my original post.)
I used each rapid charger with its own cord.
My nightly non-rapid-charger is an enercell type-A to type-C. It says:
INPUT: 100-240V- 50-60Hz 0.3A OUTPUT: 5V===1A
The "===" actually shows a solid line on top. I'm not sure what that means or if it is important.
=== Additional Info ====
I almost forgot - I also have a portable RAVPOWER Turbo Series (RP-PB043) 20100 mAh battery charger that provides rapid charging with its own type-C-to-type-C cable. The type-C port output that I use is "5V 3A Max". I used it on some airplane flights about a month ago and it worked then. I tried it when the Huawei first failed and it also failed to charge at all. Normally when one plugs a charger into the phone, the phone's screen comes on and shows that it is charging. Nothing happens with the RAVPOWER now.
I also have a charger in my car that I occasionally use (mainly if I am using the phone for navigation). It also would show "Charging Rapidly" when I plugged it in. It is different in that it uses a 6-foot Type-A-to-Type-C cord. I had not tried it since the noticing the problem with the other rapid chargers. I will try it now and repost the results.
Crazy idea, but did you try rebooting the phone then plugging it in. Just give it a shot.

Yep. That was it. All rapid chargers are working properly now!
I should have remembered the old programmer's adage, "when all else fails, reboot!"

Lol, yeah I had the same thing happen to me. I saw that fix somewhere, and thought to myself, "It can't be that simple." Turns out it was. Glad it was able to help you out.
There is a power management chip in all phones.
I have seen this behavior on a previous LG G3, Galaxy S4 and even my own Nexus 6P.
Glad you got it sorted out! Btw, the parallel dotted and dashed lines indicates that it's DC power out vs the input being AC power (the same icon, but with a sine wave instead). #themoreyouknow

The funny thing is that third party chargers are unaffected
I have the same problem but mines permanent. Only chargers that work are usb-a to usb-c. I also no longer get any connection when plugged in to the PC.

The solid line over dotted is a diagram for direct current power; whereas ~ is the diagram for alternating current. Just some info for you.
I no longer have rapid charging tried reboot even installed a different rom new charger but still no rapid charge and sometimes it won't charge at all
Any ideas
Check and make sure you don't have any lint or debris in the USB port. I had to clean mine out with a needle and magnifying glass and then rapid charging worked again.

Ticwatch Pro : charging problems

Hello,
I own a Ticwatch Pro for now about 2 years. I don't use it very much. But since I own it, I always had problems to charge it.
If the watch still have between 70% and 90%, then it charges quite well (but very very slow, and I need to power on the watch or it will not charge).
Below 70%, the watch does not charge ... I need then to disconnect / reconnect many times thes charger for the charge to begin.
I cleaned the contacts, and I use a 5V 1A charger.
But now it's even worse : the watch was at 93% of charge, I connected it to the charger. The watch was showing the charging icon. But in fact, it did not charge anything.
Now the watch battery is totally empty, and I cannot charge it (I tried with two different 5V 1A chargers, even with a PC).
Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this issue ?

I have found my problem : the charger is dead. But in fact, the original Ticwatch charger was dead for a long time, only charging the watch after several tries. I ordered a new one on Amazon (not branded), for 7 €, and it works a lot better than the original !!

Hi ! I know it has been a while, but I believe I have the same issue with my watch, I got the Ticwatch pro 5, and just after 2 days of owning, the charger won't work, I tried unplugging and plugging back like they suggested in the FAQ, but that did not work either.
Like you I am suspecting the cable, and went on to order another one now, any chance you got the same one ( SKEIDO USB Charging Cable Power Charger Adapter Dock Magnetic Stand for ticwatch- proX/pro3/pro3 LTE/pro 3 Ultra GPS Smartwatch ) , also, has the issue ever happened again to you ?
Thanks
