Mediapad m3 Btv-w09 looking for stock firmware - Huawei Mediapad M3 Questions & Answers

Hey!
I'm actually having a lot of trouble with going back to stock with my BTV-W09.
I need it to stock cause I will gift it to my mother in law and she isn't much into techy stuff but as I'm actually on LineageOS 17.1 the camera doesn't work and she needs it.
I tried a lot of sites looking for the stock rom but everytime I try to install them by TWRP (ver 3.3.1-0) it gets an error.
Device name: BTV-W09
Firmware version: lineage_btv-userdebug 10 QQ3A.200805.001 eng.surdu.20221015.165807
Processor: hi3650
Oeminfo: Undefiined/Undefiined
IMEI: Undefiined
Bootloader state: null
FRP state: Unlocked
Battery percentage: 30%

I have BTV-W09C100B302 here. Will that help?

How to revert to C128?

Hi
I bought an M3 Wifi US version BTV-W09C128, which was recently upgraded via OTA to Nougat B353.
I used the rollback files on a European Huawei site
https://consumer.huawei.com/it/support/tablets/mediapad-m3-8/
to downgrade to Marshmallow BTV-W09C100B006 to regain 5 GHz Wifi, and then found it was not possible to upgrade to Nougat.
I opened the calculator in landscape mode and enter () () 2,846,579 () () =
finding
Vendor Country Info (same as oeminfo?) shows
Vendor: hw
Country: usa
This seems like the reason why my M3 cannot do OTA updates now.
Does anyone know if there are files available on a Huawei or other site to enable me to revert the M3 to US C128?
Thanks in advance!
Hello Sam,
I did the same updates on same type of device. You can try firmware finder to download the update files. I was not able to use this, I am trying for 2 days to get back to Nougat, tried chinese, european and US versions from US. I also had some hard times getting back to android 6, after different firmware updates I got stuck on NRD90M test-keys firmware. Now I am back to android 6 using the rollback and firmware from huawey italian site but I'm not sure why it worked on 10+ try...
If you find a way please let all of us know the flow
Thank you,
Mircea
I did the same thing. I don't think there is a full stock rom for C128 out there that you can flash it back. I have done lots of search on the internet already. However, I like to have 5Ghz enabled and I don't like EMUI 5.

I Buy DC-Phoenix + HCU license 19 euro package but can not flash firmware

My device : RNE-L22 [huawei nova 2i]
Previously I had an accident.
Is i made rebrand device To be
IMEI: 868009033xxxxxx
Build number: :Elemental V1.1
Product model: RNE-L22
It's not the same. with device original
I can not flash firmware on device
and the device was locked bootloader. From the way I rebrand
Now I only have a bootloader.
What did I do wrong to help me?

Huawei P8 Lite custom rom upgrade for beginners?

Hi all,
I just received a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 with the bootloader unlock code.
I really thought it would take me 10 minutes to "flash" my phone with another rom (when I wanted Cyanogen on my SGS3, it took even less)... and here I am, 3 weeks later, with nothing done and no progress in understandng how to change a rom on this phone.
I spent hours going in circle on a few sites which are supposed to explain the procedure, but there's always something missing or a command that won't work or I get to choose between hundreds of rom without help.
This is kind of my last hope before giving up...
My phone:
Model number: PRA-LX1
Build number: PRA-LX1C432B212
EMUI version: 5.0.3
Android version: 7.0
My question:
"How can I install https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8...ment/rom-aosp-10-huawei-p8-lite-2017-t4008999 as a beginner on my phone?".
Is there a comprehensive guide somewhere that would help me do that?
For the moment, I don't understand much of the installation section of the post (really not for beginners), and I'm stuck at the "required" section:
"ROM Firmware Required: Emui 8.x,bootloader unlocked and TWRP"
Since it took me 4 hours, this morning, to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP using ADB, can someone explain to me the step "Emui 8.x"? I really don't understand how to choose a working rom.
Thanks a lot for any help you can provide and sorry if this message is a bit messy, I really am confused...
Edit: Nevermind, it seems like I needed to write this down to find my answers piece by piece on many different posts on different forums
Sorry for the disturbance.
Emui 8.x - please update your stock huawei rom to oreo. Then you will have Emui 8.

[GUIDE] OREO without root or unlocking the bootloader

Disclaimer
Please note this guide has been tested on this particular device and only on one unit. Please use this information responsibly and have all your data backed up before continuing.
Device info
Device name: FRD-L19
Firmware version: FRD-L19C432B405
EMUI version: 5.0.1
Android version: 7.0
What we want
EMUI version: 8.X
Android version: 8.0
Back story
I stopped receiving updates a while back and my phone was basically stuck on update FRD-L19C432B405
I decided to upgrade my device but all guides i could find require the bootloader to be unlocked. Unfortunately, as you all know, this has become quite a challenge and is basically off the table as far as official ways are concerned.
The only way i could find was to use the built in updater/eRecovery and a bit of trickery...
Requirements
1. Honor 8 FRD_L19
2. Firmware Finder for Huawei - app installed on your phone
Upgrade process from EMUI v7 (FRD_L19C432B405) to v8 (FRD_L19C432B562)
1. flash FRD-L19C432B406 partial udate (243.2 MB)
- use FFfH to find and flash the firmware
- I used the DNS-auto approach inside the app to find the update
- this will bring the system to EMUI 5.0.3 and enable the next step
2. flash FRD_L19C432B562 FullOTA-MF-PV (2.6 GB)
- use FFfH to find the firmware and flash via eRecovery
- here the DNS-auto approach didn't work so i opted for the eRecovery instead
- i found multiple firmware with the same name, so try to remember which one you tried and if that one doesn't work try the next one and so on.
Thats it, you now have OREO without root or unlocking the bootloader. Enjoy
excume MY smarphones is honor 8 version emiu frd-l14 ? Coul I use frd-l19?

Flash the full Oreo firmware without the BL tab, then you will be downgrading to Oreo but you will still keep the Pie bootloader.
Also if you do want to downgrade the bootloader I found this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/guide-skipping-kg-prenormal-oneui-t3911862/amp/

No, I have not tried it but I thought it might work. Try downgrading the bootloader via this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/guide-skipping-kg-prenormal-oneui-t3911862
I think you can also get heimdall on Windows
Edit: I found the heimdall download page here: https://glassechidna.com.au/heimdall/
If that doesn't work I also found this thread about downgrading the bootloader with combo firmware: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/method-to-downgrade-galaxy-s8-to-oreo-t3946240/amp/ You just have to find a combo firmware with the same binary version as your current firmware.
Downgrading the bootloader is really hard on Samsung devices if possible at all

Your device is on a bit 7 bootloader. The firmware you are trying to flash is a revision 3. You cannot downgrade your revision. 5th digit from far right end in firmware is your software revision

Same as post as above yours check all the Android 8 firmwares if they are the same bit number as Android 9 then yes. If not. No
so in my case I have to find a custom android 8 rom with bit 7?
and if I put a custom rom with a lower rev bit can I downgrade?
having rooted and having twrp?
if it has knox, most likely not
[QUOTE = "avipars, post: 84174127, member: 7551187"]
se ha knox, molto probabilmente no
[/CITAZIONE]
knox is 0x1 therefore no guarantee
