Hey everyone,
I need help with my phone, recently in the middle of using it, my phone stopped working and froze, so I forced it to shut down.
After restarting, the phone went into recovery mode (without me pressing any other button than the power button), Here is the recovery boot problem I'm in. Even if I force the shutdown again, it remains in recovery mode. I tried to erase the data using the recovery mode option, but the problem persists.
My phone won't start in fastboot mode even if I use the appropriate key combo (power and -). I first tried to reflash the ROM using Mi Flash Assistant, with mi pc assistant mode in recovery, the flash succeeded (European version of: https://miuirom.org/pho
nes/mi-9t), but my phone always starts in recovery mode. I tried to flash in mi pc assistant mode using Mi Flash Tool and a fastboot ROM, but the flash is stuck at this step:

Here are the steps in mi flash assistant:
Stock recovery? If you have unlocked bootloader and custom recovery, you can use ADB sideliad to install ROM in recovery.
Have you tried vol- and power?
Hey, as I said before "My phone won't start in fastboot mode even if I use the appropriate key combo (power and -)." It happened with a stock ROM. I never uses other rom or unlocked bootloader.
You cannot flash a fastboot type ROM if your Bootloader is locked.
You cannot flash a custom Recovery (like TWRP) either.
Hence no use of Fastboot mode (Fastboot will fail any flashing with the locked Bootloader)
Not sure if you could do anything but bringing your phone to the service shop (specially if the phone is under guarantee).
Or seek for the authorized EDL support.
Or search for the DIY firehose method

As I said too, I have already managed to install a recovery rom thanks to Mi Flash Assistant (you can see the European version in the screenshot), despite this, the phone keeps restarting in recovery.

Yes it's a Mi 9T so no warranty anymore sadly...
What do you mean by "authorized EDL support" and "DIY firehose method"
SAME
It's about low-level flashing
You either need somebody with the authorized account to do it remotely (but they ask for money while advertising the paid services on XDA is not allowed, hence the corresponding posts are regularly removed and you will hardly find eg their Telegram accounts on XDA)
Or you need to find the firehose file to do yourself.
Ofc it's not as simple as flashing by Fastboot and one must search, study and learn first
Don't ask me further since I never needed, but from time to time I see posts where users wrote about
You can Google for or search here on XDA

I have similar problem, so maybe not generating new threat...
I got OP2 from friend. He used Oxygen 2.x (don't know exactly) and decided to flash some custom ROM. And something went wrong
He brought me today his phone and:
- fastboot works,
- device is locked and impossible tu unlock (FAILED (remote: oem unlock is disabled))
- after 2 hours of work I got stock recovery working (using some Chinese Qualcomm recovery tool).
But: I can't unlock BL, I can't flash anything via fastboot (because ->locked), ADB doesn't work too (cant push any file to devices).
When turning on phone it's in bootloop, but I can enter fastboot or stock recovery.
I tried almost all solutions from her and OP forums, but everything false because of locked BL.
ANY ideas? My short knowledge ends here There is probably no any data in device (no system, userdata etc.).
I don't have USB-C pendrive / cable so I cant flash anything from stock recovery. If I'll get USB-C pendrive will it be possible to flash stock ROM with stock recovery?
Does it show up in fastboot devices?

It sounds like the ability to unlock the bootloader is disabled in developer options. I think, but I'm only guessing.

do any of these help you? I guess you could say your phone is hard bricked due to not booting to OS and not having TWRP recovery?

Fastboot this, it will DELETE EVERYTHING(no exceptions) (maybe except firmware) and install seraph08's cm13.
https://s.basketbuild.com/devs/Seraph08/oneplus2/fastboot img files
or flash stock OOS2.x official via stock recovery(if MTP or ADB works in stock recovery)
No idea about USB OTG, try dont buy. Might work in TWRP, dont think itll work on stock
or try the soft brick recovery on his basketbuild or other various available threads
Edit: you said fastboot works and then you said it doesnt work, confirm.
I used other PC and other tool including system.bin and userdata.bin. And it finally worked. Unbricked
[GUIDE][TOOL] Reboot to EDL mode from FASTBOOT! No More "Test Point Method"! [kenzo]
Reboot to EDL mode from FASTBOOT!
No more Test Point Method needed
Technical Details:
Redmi Note 3 support rebooting to EDL in Android Bootloader aboot module (the "reboot-edl" command) but fastboot utility doesn't recognize "reboot-edl" in the command line and refuses to sent the command to the device. Since FastBoot command protocol is simple and text-based, it is enough to send a packet containing "reboot-edl" text over USB. The simplest way to do that is to patch Windows fastboot.exe file, replacing "reboot-bootloader" text with "reboot-edl". As "reboot-bootloader" string is found in the command line, fastboot.exe sends the same constant string to the device. So if "reboot-bootloader" is replaced with "reboot-edl", you can specify "reboot-edl" in the command line and the same text will be sent to the device.
New Update: Fastboot updated to latest version.
Tutorial:
1. Download the Fastboot_edl-v2.zip from Here.
2. Extract the zip in your desktop
3. Open the folder and double Click on Reboot.bat

No, my device is not bricked, it has locked bootloader. I received code from xiaomi to unlocked bootloader but it constantly stops at 50%, and I found out that it can't be unlocked without china dev rom, but no rom can be installed with locked bootloader I only want to flash an official miui rom to be able to receive updates...Xiaomi really made this too complicated....

Don't use this tool if your device is not bricked, your rom is a distributor rom that's why you cannot unlock your device, you have to flash miui rom prior to unlocking, you can do it thru edl mode using adb, search on miui forums and you'll find it.

If your device is not bricked, then you can reboot to EDL mode from adb. Do this to reboot to edl from adb:
1. Connect your device to PC.
2. Open adb and type: adb devices and press enter to see your device if it is connected properly.
3. When you can see your device ID, type: adb reboot edl and press enter. It will reboot your device to EDL mode.
4. Now flash your rom with Mi Flash.

This must be driver problem. Install MI PC suite and it will install all necessary drivers. Then try it again.
I wanted to reinstall the stock rom (B360). I booted into TWRP and for some reason I wiped System, Dalvik cache, cache and internal memory (I dont know why I did that). Then I installed the Firmware but it failed probably because my frp was locked and I didnt know about it. Then I rebooted and now I cant boot to the system. When I boot into TWRP it just hangs on the TWRP logo and doesnt go on, eRecovery doesn't work. I can boot into fastboot. Its says that phone is unlocked but frp is locked. I hope that there's a way to unbrick my phone without dc-phoenix

Sorry for the late reply. Whenever I try to flash the stock recovery it says FAILED (remote: Command not allowed):crying:. I tried both fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk and fastboot flash recovery, neither of them worked.
After doing some more research (like 3+ hours) I think that the error can't be easily fixed:crying:. Some solutions that I've found that may work all involve either disabling USB debugging and then rebooting and re-enabling it or somthing like that which I can't do since I can't boot into the system or relocking and then unlocking my bootloader which I also can't do without dc-phoenix since my frp is locked. Also I don't know if the dload method will work as I can't access the sd card when I plug my phone to the PC. It may be possible to push files there using adb but I'm not sure if it will work even when I get the right files to my sd card. So unless you guys don't have a better solution, I'm probably going to buy the HCU + DC-Phoenix 3 day licens for 20€ (still a lot better then changing my motherboard for 100+€). Also here's the adb window with the error.

It seems that you need just to perform FRP unlock with HCU client.... After that you can flash twrp, etc....
Also you can try method from @vovan1982
"Small manual: removing frp lock.
If you have frp_lock and have not TWRP. Download in FF (FirmwareFinder) third file of firmware (example: update_full_WAS-L21_hw_ru.zip), unpack. Run DCPhoenix small update.app, and when DC Phoenix open back_door, detach usb-cable. On PC run cmd.exe and flash this frp.img"
Good luck!

When i try to flash via fastboot, it appears an error saying that the device is locked ant cennot erase...
via fastboot oem unlock i get the error message: Remote: oem unlock is not allowed
via MiUnlocker the unlock gets to de 50% and gives an error and on its logs it says: Remote: oem unlock is not allowed
I tryed to flash TWRP with command fastboot flash recovery but the error is the same: remote: partition flashing is not allowed
Can anyone help me please??
I'm stuck on the bootloop i can't go to setting - developer - allow oem unlock option!!
Have you tried doing a Factory Reset from stock recovery?
This is a strange behavior, even if an OTA update corrupted the system for some reason, the phone should boot from the original slot.
Have you tried switching slots manually from fastboot ?

Hello!
I've faced the exact same problem yesterday.
You need to force the phone to boot in EDL mode by opening the back cover and short circuit 2 pins as shown in THIS video.
After you have the phone in EDL and being detected by your PC (you need the correct drivers, you may get them on THIS thread by @CosmicDan), you may use MiFlash Tool to flash official PIE Rom, access developer options and enable oem unlock to be able to unlock your phone again.
If you wish to revert to Oreo, please use THIS guide.
Cheers!

Hello, Having a Lenovo TB-X606F tablet, I purchased a Lenovo Smart Dock, but cannot get it to work with this tablet. Is it possible to flash the tablet in TB-X606FA so that the dock are finally recognized? I installed the Amazon Alexa apk - Show mode and Lenovo Smart Dock Firmware Updater but nothing recognized
Thank you
Sébastien

There are probably missing kernel drivers ?
You could try loading the X606FA ROM using LMSA. Use the off-line rescue option.
No guarantees it will work. It's an experiment, so it might brick your device. If it fails, LMSA might be able to restore the X606F ROM.
Hello, with LMSA I could flash with firmware TB-X606FA_S300269_210602_BMP for example? the 2 tablets are identical in terms of hardware I do not see why this would brick I can not find how to do it in LMSA it suggests that the firmware TB-X606F_S300320_210716_BMP Thank you

Code:
Your device has failed verification and may not work properly.
Please download boot image with correct signature or disable verified boot.

Have you unlocked your bootloader? To flash in fastboot, you have to unlock your bootloader first. If you didn't allow that in Settings before you started, then you'll need to reload your old ROM to do it.
The simplest thing to do is to rescue your tablet using LMSA. Make sure you are using the "manual selection" mode. Select you original tablet designation (TB-X606F). When Android boots:
enable developer settings
allow OEM unlock and USB debugging
unlock the bootloader
make sure you can load twrp (which tests that fastboot is working)
make sure adb is working in twrp (adb shell)
do a backup
Then you can start your experiment again.

I managed to recover the tablet with the stock rom and with LSMA, it detected the fastboot and restored the rom. On the other hand my smart dock remains incompatible with my tablet just because of a software, really bad on the part of lenovo! I try with LSMA in manual the FA model to see, I hope that it will not crash!
