Hello,
I would like to root my Junsun v1 pro device.
This one is under firmware 8667Q.
Having no TWRP for this device, I'm looking to get the boot.img so I can root my device with Magisk.
Is there a way to recover the boot.img without being rooted from the device?
The Chinese Firmware 8667Q is in ZIP format by opening it with Winrar, there appear two files .udp and .bin
The .udp file is very light, it is probably there to authorize the installation.
The .bin file is much heavier. But with a file extractor like 7zip I don't see a boot.img file
Do you have a solution to extract a boot.img file from this type of firmware?
You can use a ROM kitchen tool like CBR to decompress the firmware

@All,
My question is very simple I believe.
The latest RUU release for Sapphire/Magic contains after extraction 2 zip files as follows:
rom.zip
This contains the following files:
android-info.txt
boot.img
recovery.img
spalsh_HTC_Magig.nb0
system.img
userdata.img
rom1.zip
This contains the following files:
boot_special.img
hboot_7200A.nb0
radio.img
Is it possible somehow to combine the above 2 ROM files so that the device can be flashed with one single sappimg.zip file?
I tried combine all above files into one single zip archive, but flashing does not start. maybe I have overlooked something somewhere, or special attention have to be given to some config file or something have to be added maybe?
I do not want to flash via RUU package, only via card method. Any suggestions as to how the above can be done?
Regards

If your PC using linux system,I recommend you to use Virtual Box.
If U using windows system, you must configuration Java environment first, and then install a software who name is Cygwin,You can use it to extract the system.img and boot.img.
Help me unpack .tar.md5. I have Windows 7,8.1 and 10. what program to use to uncompress the file system.img, and system.img.ext4 and the file itself ***.tar.md5
I watched a lot of instructions and downloaded many, many programs ...everywhere says that the file is corrupted...I realized that is not true unpack tar.md5. I'm doing this using total commander.I just wash the end of the tar.md5. and write zip
My phone G900F. I have port galaxy s6 G920F ror my G900F
I recently unpacked a system.img using this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/pocket-neo/general/guide-extract-factory-samsungs-img-file-t3184278. If your trying to get into a tar.md5 rename it to just "tar" and use something like winrar to open it up and pull the IMG file you want.
Hi everybody. Currently I am trying to extract a firmware update file of the ".bin" extension on head car android. Has anyone used to extract and use any tool to extract this bin firmware file ....? Please give me some advice ...!
Thanks!
I'm looking for an original update.zip containing a system.img, i think i found a possible way to downgrade the S10+ (G-975U1), if this works it's also possible on other android devices.
aren't the *.zip.enc4 files - downloaded from samloader - OTA flashable zips?
