Tag Heuer E1 connected - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Have a Tag E1 connected.
Tag say too old to even look at.
Have rebooted and the following error occurs:-
E:- missing bitmap icon_installing

Supported API:3
I've cleared the cache as well as tried a factory reset.
Is there any way to reflash the software for wear o/s to the watch, if so how and where do I get the software ?

Xperia isn't syncyng anymore - WDMC red cross syndrome

Any idea whats wrong when I cant transfer any files to Xperia through Windows Explorer? I open device, doesnt matter if I try to upload to main memory or storage card and system says The file XXX could not be copied. It may not exist or cannot be transferred.
Same situation on tvo computers, probably something wrong in Xperia. I know that hard reset would proly help, but it is last option...
UPDATE so tried to solve my problem and found out, that there is something wrong with WMDC and sync. When I connect device on one of my two PC, it installs driver but in WMDC is just red cross and text Error. Nothing else. Tried to disable advanced network support in USB2PC, tried to reinstall WDMC even with deleting stuff in registry. Still no help - I dont want to do hard reset, so many programs already installed and tuned
strange is that it shows in Sync Center as guest and I'm able to see files, but not upload anything nor sync data
EDIT Tried:
-reinstall WMDC
-reinstal WMDC with registry cleanup (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE...)
-disable firewall
-disable advanced network services in USB2PC settings
-run net localgroup Administrators /add Local Service (found in some thread)
-deleting driver for X1 in device manage (Mobile Devices\X1a)
-clean sync data from ActiveSync in mobile, resulting just in empty contactlist and still not being able to sync
-delete windows mobile network driver in device manager resulting in device not being detected anymore, althrough net driver shows up after conection
getting bit desperate now
So hard reset is on the way...lets see if it helps.
Hard reset should work.
I was able to sync when I first setup the x1, then I added the owner information to the device, sync failed after that. I did a hard reset and setup owner information first then sync with wdmc, sync works every time now. (I think wdmc registered owner information during initial sync to the device, I maybe wrong but I am too lazy to test my theory since I got it working now)
do you recall when you added owner information? prior or after the intial sync to wdmc.
changed owner info long time ago, after sync - it was fine.
I can recall that yesterday I used SK Tools to clean X1, and also deleted some strange files in root of memory (some with extension .vol). Dunno if it was what caused problem...
EDIT and yes, hardreset worked
i had this problem.. what i did.. opened sync center..deleted the device.. readded it through device center. problem solved?
there was only red circle with X and message Error, nothing you can do
ya this happened to me. in sync center in vista (not sure bout xp) u can deleted the device. do so, then readd it using the windows mobile device center (partnership blahblah) and it should work again :S?
No, only think which helped was hard reset. And now it happened again, getting quite mad about it
Same problem for me !!
Red circle with an X in windowss vista but all OK on my other machine (win XP)...
Maybe a ROM bug ??
I am using USA NorthAmerican generic stock ROM
Which ROM do you have ??
EU stock (bought in Czech Rep.). My also works with ActiveSync on XP, byt not with WMDC on Vista (2 machines tested). Crap crap crap - only solution I found is to reset and reinstal device

Can it be a problem with bluetooth chip or with kernel???

No matter which rom I've tried: Blayos 0.7, cm 6.1 stable or juice/6.1....
In each of them couldn't get bt to connect to pc or to other devices....
It let me to power it up and even receive some picture or two, but not more....
Also can't connect to to other phones...
In settings set to discoverable and it says "Paired, but not connected"....
And in pc, in "BT devices" it's grayed and in device information(after clicking properties on device) the Manufacturer, Model and others are all under the same tag: Unavailable.
The kernel used - 2.6.32.17.
Is this a known problem???
Is it has to do something with bt chip(hardware) or software?
Any help appreciated.

Fixing a broken Switch. Wifi BCM4356

Hello folks
Here's an idea.
My schwitch doesn't boot and gets stuck.
I have tried android and i can boot it everything works except the wifi.
After i swap the chip the wifi still doesn't work.
While searching for the error I found out that you have to program the chip.
Can someone please post the dump you have according to these instructions?
https://www.cypress.com/file/298136/download
This may save many Switches without the need of a donor Board. Just need to write the OTP Memory so the BCM4356 is configured properly.
You will get better support over on gbatemp.
Using Droid Info i read out my sys Info. There is a point "WIFI:Yes"
I have installed Terminal info to get some more infos.
Using the command lspci i was able to get the device id: class 0280: 14e4:4354
here are some opensorce drivers for the 4354
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx
As you can see the Wifi is not broken or cant be found. It is there but i need to find how to debug the wifi what is really going on.
because if I dumpsys it show me in CHipset information
Version is: null
driver version: null
Im a newbi on android. Maybe someone can me give some options/help.
Can you join the discord, I can discuss there (link is on the twitter bio)
I am in similar situation. I was running 9.1 Atmosphere and everything was working fine. I used the homebrew app to update atmosphere rather than downloading on my computer manually updating. I honestly knew better but did it anyway. Atmosphere supposedly updates, reboots, I inject my payload, hangs on switch logo.
android: No wifi. bluetooth works fine
Ubuntu: no wifi
Downgraded switch to 5.x.x. No Wifi, bluetooth ok
Restore backup of 9.x.x: boot hangs on switch logo
downgrade again and start updated 1 version at a time. eventually find that every version works(no wifi) until I go to 9.x
So Im stuck on 8.x.x with no wifi and no gamecard slot (switch was on 9.x before I modded)
GBAtemp suggested that my BCM or a component near it could be damaged and I do have the tools to open it but my gut tells me this is a software issue not a hardware issue.
OP If you are able to run android but not Horizon/Atmo I used this to downgrade:
https://switch.homebrew.guide/usingcfw/manualchoiupgrade
Also included picture from me trying to see the wireless card via terminal in ubuntu but I am terrible with linux so I dont know how to do much without instruction
