So I recently purchased a Fossil Gen 5 LTE smartwatch. From my understanding they only work with Verizon, and there is no official way to unlock it to use with another carrier.
I was wondering if anybody was able to achieve this via other methods?

I was wondering if anybody knew whether or not the ATT prepaid/Cricket version of this phone had both LTE Bands 12 and 17 or if the carriers lock the phone down to disable them, I thought the VZ version had those but apparently it doesn't plus i couldn't root so i returned it. It is difficult to find consistent info when a phone has so many versions and i don't want to $pend for the unlocked version... I am trying to prepare and see if Worst Buy has one of those old phone promots with a $50 bonus
Hey guys,
I live in the UK currently and planning to switch my carrier to Three UK. According to wiki they use LTE bands 3 & 20. I was wondering if any one has used their XT1575 pure in the UK w/success of using LTE band 3? I don't wish to buy the XT1572 since I'm moving in about 8 months and want the XT1575 specifically. If anyone could please let me know their experience I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Hi there friends , i see on amazon.com that there are new galaxy s5 verizon phones that are unlocked and for only 200$. So after i broke my s5 sprint variant i am planing to buy one on verizon. For sprint there was a lil apk that was unlocking sprint phones with only one click, so my question is will i be able to make my galaxy s5 verizon phone to work on any gsm network ?
Here is the link from amazon with the s5 i want to buy

Anyone got any info?
I've used my G900V with a couple different MVNOs on ATT and it also worked on T-Mobile. It will get LTE if you have the coverage for it. Should mention that I did mess around some with unlocking bands but I don't know if that was necessary in the end. Here are a couple band unlocking threads if interested:

The Verizon version on Marshmallow is more difficult to work with than the Sprint version when it comes to rooting and unlocking the bootloader.
I've used a carrier unlocked g900v for about a year now it works on at&t networks and t-mobile networks just fine I get edge through 4g lte service connectivity on cm based roms
Bootloader unlock method by getex works on kitkat through Mm firmware and only Cid 15 devices can get bootloader unlock oh and check out Groupon for carrier unlocked Refurbished g900v there normally cheaper than amazon for Refurbished phones

This might be a dumb question, but is it possible to purchase an international version of the G5 Plus from the US and use on VZW network? I really would love NFC, but havent been able to track down info indicating the bands international version uses.
Thanks!
I'm looking into a G6 for my next phone for us on Cricket Wireless (AT&T mvno). Can anybody weigh in as to whether I should go with the AT&T H871, or the unlocked US997? Any specific advantages or disadvantages to either? Thanks in advance for your opinions!
Get the unlocked version that way you'll be able to get on custom roms with Android 9 when it's released next fall. No advantage to getting the at&t locked version unless it's significant price difference
