I bought this R9 headunit from aliexpress (seller was JMCQ) and when I go into the "System Info" it does not display any information about the MCU type? It only says MCU1: 0.5 (3561) shouldn't there be a string of numbers there? Also if i try to access the about device in the android settings it shows everything except an MCU. Here are pictures of what I'm talking about:

Anyone know if there's a way to load TWRP on this unit?
The android version is fake. Actually it is Android 6.
The solution provider (actual manufacture) is XY AUTO (掌讯). And this model YT3560 never has an Android system higher than 6.0.
If you google "掌讯3560“, you'll find that all Chinese firmware has version 安卓6.0M (Android 6 Marshmallow), and the "international" firmware has Android 8.1 or 9.1, which are fake.
The one I bought is advertized as "rotatable screen". But actually the system doesn't support the screen rotation at all. To make the system working in portrait mode, it needs the "vertical screen ROM" to be flashed.
My suggestion is never buy a unit from XY AUTO again.

The system is still Android 6.0. I assume the update is only minor tweaks.
I found a way to "rotate" the screen.
First, in "Car settings" -> "Other settings", untick the "Screen setting - Force mode".

Now, my problem is there is not a good launcher for portrait mode. And several stock app doesn't support portrait mode very well.

Mine has the same problem. I'm thinking change it to a PX6 or TS9 unit. This YT3560 unit has too many issues.

I am using YT3560 along with RAISE Can Bus. I am having the problem with built in mic. I am able to hear others without any issue. But, others complaining that my voice is low and lot of noise. Even I have disconnected the supplied external mic. But no improvement.
Can anybody suggest if we replace with a good external mic, will this solve the problem?
Further, my Car Information not showing RPM Rev data. All other data receiving from Raise Can Bus. Am I missing any setting or is it an issue with my Vehicle ?
My car is Skoda Rapid (India) Ambition - 2017 Model.

Thanks for these! I found a newer update 2020/08/07 and it fixed a lot of my sound issues (volume dipping). The mobile01.com files seem to have password protection now so I could not download those. Can confirm this 20200807 package works on YT3560 XY Auto DSP with ST7850 Amplifier. My board is also V1.31.

Mine's 4G as well and still working (despite **** speed because of the antenna bands but that's always been the case). Language stayed the same as my system settings.

Yeah the speed is ****ty, I can reach 80 Mbps on my phone using 4G
But on the head unit, it's only around 3-4 Mbps
Still enough for navigating and spotify though

I have a 10.1" head unit. I wish I never would have bought it (don't buy one). After all the pain of install, I don't want to replace it.
I want to get android auto working with it. I installed the right APK and it had some dependencies ( google maps and google browser). I sideloaded all three, I cleared the problem of the dependencies with andriod auto, and it cleared the install screen.
Now android auto won't load, I think I need to upgrade the andriod and see if that helps
So here is my question: Can I update my firmware? How can I find the rom?
Can I get andriod auto to work with it?

You are correct. These units are horrible, but with a bit of tweaking, you can get them to perform reasonably well. I've made a guide on how to improve performance and user experience on YT9213AJ here.
PS - you don't need Android Auto on a true Android Head Unit. Just run the apps natively. AA requires a lot of resources and is meant for head units that can't run Android natively.

Hello, thank you very much for putting the firmware, but, I do the whole procedure the 5 files in the root in a Fat32 USB memory, I mark the box to format the internal flash, the stereo takes a long time and indicates that it does not turn off, then It restarts, everything gives the impression that it is going to carry out the procedure but the only thing that happens is that the vehicle logo and the android letters are reset, when it starts after a long time in the Android letters it turns out that it has performed a configuration reset factory, nothing more .... !! it never reaches the screen where you see how the installation and update bar progresses as in the video, and the information continues to show the same number and date of compilation, mcu, system and the same failures of course .. I'm doing wrong .? I have manually reset to factory, I have changed memory, I have tried 2 different compilations: (20210803 and 20210825) with the name THEME1, I have downloaded from different places ..! Nothing, always the same behavior and result.

Yes i have installed it OTA. Seems bit more stable.
Currently i'm using 1G-16G model. For navigation i use waze.
For music player i installed PowerAmp. However PowerAmp or other music players will not detect incoming BT calls and mute+pause music. When using built in music app music gets paused when in BT call. But the built in player has no album art capabilities so this is why i use poweramp.

Anyone tried installing some CFW to this head unit? Like LineageOS or similar? System is mostly ok but me too stuck with stock themes app and stock music player.
Themes app is no big deal i'm mostly in the music player all the time. The bult-in music app is good and it works correctly when there is incoming calls from BT.
However the built-in music player is very plain and does not have ability to display album art. So i installed PowerAmp. But when using poweramp or any other music app these will not detect incoming BT call properly.
I feel it is the OS not properly sending the notification/API issue. Only the built-in player can detect this and pause.
Any ideas?

so you confirm me that the bluetooth has no problems with the new update? I read on XDA that a user after this update no longer works the Bluetooth, as regards the themes I use the webguro launcher and I even managed to activate ANDROID AUTO with a simple app

Yes there was a issue with bluetooth immediately after the update. The device name and BT password was blank and i could not update. I thought the update bricked bluetooth.
The solution was to play some music from the built-in music player. After using the built-in player once the bluetooth was back. I think the BT function is tightly integrated with the built-in music player somehow.
Can you share how you managed to get Android Auto installed? I could not find how to get this done.
For launcher i used CarWebGuru and it works ok.

here is Android Auto
U can on bluetooth by going to car settings by password 123456 And then config sys unclick all then click on bs6 only then restart the system. All done

Thanks I solved, as for activating Android Auto just download the app on your carLink HeadunitReloaded I recommend the free version first, if your carstereo is supported then buy the Pro version
Hello!
I have an Allwinner navigation with 2G Ram and 32 Gb internal memory T3L p1.
Due to the fact that my Bluetooh couldn't work anymore, I did a factory reset but with a Google account - like a lost device!
Navigation starts and stays locked to the Android logo on the screen. I downloaded the firmware here from the forum and after many attempts like
on off, reset button etc the 5 files are installed. But it doesn't go beyond the Android logo. What else can I do?
