As this is quite car dependent, you should get in contact with the seller.

Thanks for the answer.
but why should it be car dependent? isn't it software dependent?
All of them come with a menu where you can set the FM radio (because it is noisy) or the settings for the rear view camera, constant slight flickering and only NTSC/PAL resolution, although HD resolution should be.

No, this menu is car dependant.
May be wrong settings in the CAN menu, but the seller should tell you the right settings.

in order. I can't imagine that it depends on the car and shouldn't be there with my car, but okay.
do you think it could be a canbus problem?
my canbus in the car is working properly.
there is no support from the seller.
I will never buy anything from Junsun again

Your unit has an own Can-Adaptor to translate the signals in the CAN to the ones the head unit needs.
If in the settings of the unit has been chosen the wrong car, you may run into such things.
Even if the right car has been set, try the others around the correct one.
If you don´t get support, send it back. Just that easy.

OK I understand that.
I would have liked to have sent it back, but unfortunately a pin on the radio broke off so that I can no longer return it.
It was bought from AliExpress
any idea what i could do now?

bmw f30 android 7.1.x head units

Hi,
I am trying to buy an android head unit from aliexpress for my bmw f30 2013. Very few sellers answer questions and not to the point.
e.g.
1) does it supports after market front camera through RCA input and how easy is to select it? (e.g. does it appear automatically right after reverse gear)
2) does it support can bus messages or do I need a can bus converter. I have already tried 2 multimedia interfaces (IW06B-N23 and QHI-BM12) but they dont trigger the camera. So how to be sure that the same will not happen with the android head unit
3) which MCU is used in order to see if I will be able to find updated firmware on xda forum
4) will I hear oem radio during google maps navigation (hearing also google maps directions)
5) will it connect automatically to my iphone hotspot for internet
6) will it work for iphone 11.2 mirroring
7) will it show perfectly the oem screen
8) would I be able to use steering wheel controls for bluetooth and which bluetooth will I be able to use? the OEM one or the Android one?
9) would I be able to use idrive in google maps
All of the above I believe are very basic information that you cannot get from sellers. I dont understand how they sell or I am missing something here.
Is there anyone here with similar problems so we can help each other?
Regards,
Mike
With a name like Mike, you're maybe English or American? I really suggest buying locally. You'll pay £/$30 more but you'll get a warranty and protection from your local trading laws. Buying from China is a game of Russian roulette. I bought an Erisin from China before and it was absolutely fine. Lucky that, because one I bought from England was not fine, and I had to return it. Had it been the other way round, I'd have been in a world of trouble and £100+ down the ****ter.

On mine, there's a setting for it to switch back to the front camera after the rear camera has been operating.

It will come with a canbus decoder unit. Any unit worth it's salt will work correctly with your PDC system. Mine does.

MCU is not important. It's the brand that puts out firmware updates. Xtrons, Joying and Eonon have fairly solid reputations for their updates. Xtrons have put out 5 so far for my unit. Erisin have a fairly flakey reputation. The rest are going to be a complete gamble and more likely you'll lose.

OEM radio? You're removing the OEM radio and replacing it with this. If you mean will you hear the radio and maps, yes, the maps software dips the volume in a very polite way

Firstly, sack off the iPhone, it's crap and there's so many things you can do with Android that work with this unit (mine triggers the hotspot on and off when i get in and out of the car). In answer to your question, yes, you can connect it to your hotspot.

You're mixing two entirely different software packages up here.
To conclude, if your car has iDrive. I wouldn't go anywhere near one of these systems, it'll be a ****ing minefield making it work. If yours is non iDrive, like mine, then it'll fit perfectly with no issues
Thank you for the supplied information. I am from Greece/EU and locally there are no such products.
Chinese solutions for BMW F30 are mainly changing only the screen (which is detachable) and the new one includes all the features inside the screen, so the main OEM function remain in-place.
I would take a look at xtrons as I have seen various posts here and they have a decent website hoping to receive updates but I dont know yet if they have an EU warehouse because import taxes is my country are very high. My concern stays for idrive and canbus integration mainly because I have already tested 2 other types of interface and non of them worked.
Lets see if xtrons will reply on aliexpress with more to the point questions!

Your car has iDrive? Be very careful. Those systems are so much more complicated. The reason the non-iDrive works is because it's actually still a simple system. It's just a whole bunch of relays triggered by other relays and a few more relays and then somewhere there's a computer that does it all. iDrive has it's own dedicated computer which does so much more and offers so much more functionality, and that's where you might find problems. Getting those two systems integrated could be an absolute minefield.

Not sure if you are still around or found more info but the above posts are incorrect. The unit you are buying is more than likely the 10.25 screen upgrade with Android built in. It will work in tandem with idrive....everything works and it is easy install and upgrade.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10-...00a8-4760-8b00-b2efeaa2fb7e&priceBeautifyAB=0
So a stupid question, it seems there are several Chinese companies that sell these 10.25" Android panels for the F30 BMW. Though the interface looks exactly the same despite who made the tablet, is there really a difference in the ROM image between makes? The one I have is from COG Android (atleast that is what the Bluetooth ID says). I have had in other cars Joying and ITOPWay, are they really something different ( I almost suspect they are the same company)?

I recently purchased a chogath a7 for 03 Accord first is it any good secondly I cannot get the climate display to show for anything the buttons work but no display for it. It's running Oreo with octa core also when I connect to WiFi the time goes back to something not my region in USA NJ I'm willing to pay anyone who can help me.
If
you mean that the AC is not displaying, there is a couple of things you could try but it's not guaranteed it will work. Go to settings, then find car settings and in that menu go into the Factory Settings option. The code is something that you need to find out from the manufacturer. In there there is a canbus menu option. I suppose it will say "No" in there so just try to find the one matching your car. Then press apply and restart the unit. Try to see if the wheel controls work. If not then try to find an app called vehicle information or something similar. Enter that app and see if you get any info. If you dont then get back to the factory settings again and try another CANbus setting. There might be 2-3 that work on your make/model.
If nothing works and you lose the wheel controls, just change that setting back to "No" and you will need to live without AC and open door information
About the steering wheel controls... You mean that you dont get the volume changer graphic on your head unit?
For the wifi issue, you can just disable the auto time setting in the settings and it will never revert back again
Yes and no
With climate my ac works when I got the button but as far as coming up on the screen I just don't know how high or low it is. Like fan speed whether it's dash or dash and feet. The temperature it's set to those things. I get WiFi. And when I go into my settings I don't have any user settings and I do see ether canbus model selections but only one for 7 gen Accord. Is this something a update would fix or a custom rom

Did you ever find a solution? I'm in the same boat as you.
N
Nope i went on eBay and asked other sellers to help me but in the mean time the control for climate stopped working completely. It was only the display but now it don't even control it the lights don't light up when i push the button like they used to either. You can't get any help for these units anywhere. It's frustrating. I can't find ROMs updates help information. Apparently all winner makes cops for more then just head units. The brand don't really mean much because underneath there all the same. I have been trying to find any help at all for one of these units and a 03 Accord ex that has factory navigation and i can't get any help and this site is usually pretty good with help. I learned allot about phones on here but it got nothing with help for the head unit or wiring or anything.
You're best bet is to take it to a mechanic, or a person who deals with chinese head units in real life, and get them to set it up for a small fee
Chinese headunits are pretty wierd, you'll most likely be having to experiment on your own..

I may have a solution for you. Solution is a new CANBUS deocder , the one that supports all settings from your car MCU (decoder interacts with your car computer, some cheap Chinese stuff that came originally with multimedia device are somewhat limited - cheap but expensive in hole multimedia order).
Had similar problems and my seller choosen one of the expensive ones, but I did not order it yet, but told me that this one limited in my car cannot get all the functions from car MCU.
It gave me specs for a most possible replacement so all of you in need of a new canbus to resolve your issues look on Ali Express by this :
- origin : CN
- Year : 2019
- External testing certification : CCC
- Model name: ASPI decoder
The Store on Ali Express is called NEVEGETOR STORE
NOTE: generally this one described works with ALPS multimedia devices
Good luck and tell me if your problem is fixed, post here !

Allwinner T3 head unit bought from Seicane, can I enable bluetooth in the settings?

Hi all, I bought a 9 inch android 7.1.1 head unit from Seicane (yes I know they aren't the manufacturer, just a seller, I haven't worked out who the manufacturer is).
The built in bluetooth is only for phone functionality and A2DP. I was hoping to add a USB bluetooth device to it....but the bluetooth option is missing from settings. Is there a way to enable it? I'm aware it may not have drivers and it may not work, but I'm hoping (as it is a bit of an unknown) that its just the settings option missing and it will work if I can get that in.
Any help much appreciated!
I often see thread asking for device info screenshots.....so I will include them just in case lol
I like to know that too, I have the same problem and unit!

I have found things on adding bluetooth in, but I can't get root on the unit. Seicane are insisting they are the manufacturer and won't provide the firmware
Also can't get ADB to work over wifi, and USB seems to be stuck in host mode

Hello, it's 2021 but it looks like there is still no solution to this issue. I have an Allwinner T5 and I am faced with the same problem. I want to connect the head unit to an OBD scanner via Bluetooth. The issue is that, if you go to the network menu, Bluetooth settings is not available.
Currently I have an inexpensive head unit Allwinner t3. The Bluetooth OBDii doesn't connect. Was able to use the Cheap ELM 327 and both pair and connect with my iPhone. My android HU will not connect. Says it pairs with both 0000 and 1234.
Too me, it appears some software must be missing. My HU doesn't allow me to reset, but reset to where it was when I bought it.
Was going to buy another OBDII bluetooth scanner, then I saw many people having the same issue.
Anyway to verify the proper software on the head unit?
On another thread, someone suggested going into Config Info., in the settings, from Bc6, to BC8. Didn't and it didn't work. It also changed the Android Bluetooth name from CarLink, to iTop blah blah. Changed it back.
Does anyone know if we're missing system files on these android head units or anything else?

Hello, the BT menu should be a BLUETooth App. Just like picking Radio, Weather, YouTube etc. You might have to add one if it didn't come as a default. Others have said to add your OBDii first. i.e. do not add your phone or other bluetooth devices. If you're lucky enough to get it going and it works, wahoooooo! if not, keep looking like the rest of us. Basically, we've been had.

In case you don't know, you need a OBDii App on your head unit to work with your OBDii, unless they have one. If they do you still down to download that via Google play.

Mitsubishi Outlander 2gen (2010-2012) with rockfordfossgate w/sub MMCS w/rear cam

Hi
I have a Mitsubishi outlander 2011 with rockfordfossgate MMCS system and rear view cam.
I have now installed a Dasaita PX5 Octa Core 64 bit 4gb Ram 32 G rom with Android 8.0 I am currentely using Hal9K rom version 3.1.2 works great
I have got everything working, rear view camera (had to solder a bit to get the original camera to work.)
All speakers with sub working, with the original amplifier.
But i can't fade/balance speakers, don't know if thats posible to fix?
Tone controll working fine.
But i am missing some featurers, I am not sure if it is possible to get it to work?
In my MMCS unit i had the opportunity to change car settings "see attachments".
Like how the wipers shall act and things like that.
I also hade speed signal and fule consumption information.
Not sure if the canbus for my dasaita support this?
In the factorysettings on my dasaita i have choosen canbus (111 Mitsubishi pajero&outlander%asx&lancer(simple)
Steering whell controlls working fine, when i put the car in revers i get the rearview camera and that is working fine.
I have see people talking about car_info app, vehicle.apk and controllinfo apps, this are apps working in the background like the rearview camera app right?.
But i get no icons for this apps on my head unit, and nothing in extra menu or car setting menu.
I do not get any signal when opening doors og changing temperatur on the AC and things like that.
So my question is simple, is there any way for me on my car to get the opertunity to change the settings link a was able to do in the original MMCS unit?
In the MMCS hadde an "equpment" meny, that i do not have now. I also like for information like speed signal, doors opening and things like that be poping up on the unit.
Or is this settning for the equipment and speed signa, doors just not supportet with my canbus decoder?
Is there any other way to get to this equpment setting in my car without installing the original MMCS unit?
Mayby with ODB2 or something like that?

I have 2008 Pajero Exceed.. whilst older than yours.
It doesn't have the extra menu controls you're also missing
I was looking at a system fully installed Extnix $600
But didn't follow through.
They advised me everything would work including amp -EXCEPT the fade/balance, so it might be a bit more embedded into the Mitsubishi system and missing from alternative head units ?
I'm really interested for this topic. I have a Mitsubishi Outlander and it would be great if I could still have stock MMCS settings on an aftermarket android unit.

Yes, I do have a gps unit. But if I install an aftermarket android unit I will loose all stock mitsubishi car settings like remote car pre-heating, consumption information as well as other important car settings .

Yeah my bad I didn't clarify that from the beginning. I have a 2015 Outlander PHEV.

ZQ8003

Is ZQ8003 the device I have?
It’s under about device in the menu in settings. Is that the so called “Model”?

I've the same stereo unit for my Qashqai 2014 (J11), but i don't have any user manual for this stereo.
I ask your help please on how can i configure this stereo unit for my car, because it came with a canbus but i don't know what are the correct settings for making the steering wheel controls working.
regards.
P.S.: i've some photos but i can't post them here...

But do you have any user manual of this model?
Or, can you help with the correct config settings of the canbus (P/N.: DF-RZ-02) or other settings of this stereo unit?
Thanks

No unfortunately not. It was installed in my used VW when I bought it. It runs on Windows Platform that’s all I know.
For 100.00 you can get yourself a new android unit from alibaba. Sorry this is bad advice but that’s why I have up and bought a new one. I looked everywhere and the most I found were some sites in russia selling this unit.

Go to car settings > factory settings > 0000 and it's the second line I guess, it's the one the has CAN on the text. Inside that sub menu, choose Nissan
