Hey guys I have Oneplus 8 by T-Mobile. I am facing trouble with unlocking the bootloader and rooting the phone. I have to install a custom rom and cant figure out a way to do it. If anyone can guide me step by step or provide with a link to some thread with every step, it would be a great help

Hi All,
I have purchased AXON 7 A2017 from ALli Express and seller has installed B12(MM) A2017V1.0.0B12 Build Number. I am have tried with many method to unlock bootloader and install TWRP so that i can follow and flash U firmware on it. All the methods i am using are getting failed. When i tried to unlock bootloader, status is awaiting for device response though i can see device listed when " fastboot devices"

I have done it successfully. Use AXON 7 toolkit.. its the best.

I have followed Axon tool kit 1.1. This is the easiest method.
The most obvious guide on XDA is the All in one Oppo a37f guide :- rooting, downgrading , unlock bootloader and many more
However that is only for the A37F not the A37FW. I've tried the guide there and my phone got bricked (it won't boot and kept vibrating)
Searching the internet doesn't have answers either, so I'm pretty sure the oppo A37FW can't be rooted.
I'm asking only to confirm this
EDIT: I also need help on unbricking my oppo, I've followed this tutorial but I could not get the volcano tool to work. Please advise..
EDIT2: I fixed it by following this tutorial
The bottom line is if you want to root your A37FW, then do not upgrade the phone version and let the build be 160xxxi instead of the latest 170xxx - then you might be able to root your device using KingoRoot. If you upgraded your phone, at the moment you cannot root your device as its patched. So we have to wait.

You should read, we all started like you. all rom treads have more than enough information
1. unlock bootloader
2. Install TWRP via fastboot
3. Backup your stock rom
4. Flash any rom you like
I have a G950F with the latest firmware.I followed so many guides to root with no success.Can someone help me?

No success with no verity,with magisk,with rmm bypass etc.
I had so many rooted galaxies before ,so i know the process.I also have a xiaomi mi 8 rooted so i don’t think that i am noob.

Good introduction but you've just forgot to provide your firmware version, if you have OEM unlock, if you have TWRP for example...
