Sorry if wrong place, I didn't see anything for lesser-known devices, or for this specific unit running Android.
Dynavin is a company that makes Generic replacement/upgrade automobile Nav equipment. Originally it was WinCE based, but they began in April selling and Android variant. I'm just now reading up on it myself, but there are questions about rooting it and fixing some small aggravations, like GPS zulu time, that I'd expect this community could easily accomplish. The best place I know to learn about it is a BMW site, E46fanantics.
Here's a link to a relevant thread there: oops, I'm too new, can't do a real linke, hope this works. forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=839753&page=93
I think this is an awesome development, should end up like Ford's "Sync" for the open community.
Mods, please move to the appropriate place if I've screwed up on location.

ADS
you can try rooting by superoneclick
some specs of the device would help more
Hi All,
(before you say search, I am and reading lots )
Ive been looking about at some (chinese) Android HU's for my VW EOS.
What Im looking for is a pure android, preferably able to root or flash roms as I like to tinker and play.
Relativly new hardware / quad core etc.
Main use Blue Tooth, Radio, Satnav
May I ask a few questions:
It seems many are the same or similar but there are a lot of acronyms about and lots of chip numbers etc.
What chip sets should I be looking for and things to look out for and things to avoid.
Feel free to recomend a few unless promotion is frowned upon.
So any recomendations on chip sets ram/rom android version (stable) makes to look at makes to avoid.
Pumpkin / Eonon / Erisin / etc etc good / bad?
What does MTCB stand for good/bad, also seen threads on S150 / S160 , this maker or chip?
Sorry lots of questions, Im just trying to get up to speed asap, lots of reading lots of asking.
Looking forward to getting a HU and then seeing all the stuff you can do.
Many Kind Regards Guy
Thanks All
Thanks for the info very helpfull.
Hello guys.
I have this model PF7146BS. I bought the car with it. My mirrorlink does not work so the xtrons's support sent me some update kit and now, the screen is very messy, almost to the point that it doesn't work.
I have a question regarding the custom roms. The hardware on this one is pretty good, but software wise is poor, interface as well.
Are there any that could work with mine? Any help will be extremely helpful.
My version : PF7146BS Xtrons
Can't post link due to the fact that I have no posts..

Many thanks,

Heya,
I'm looking to purchase one of these for our RV. The number of different companies offering these and options makes it extremely difficult to make an informed decision.
Does anyone have any recommendations for these (seller, options, etc)? It seems the best unit would be one with 4gb ram and 64gb nand flash, dsp, GPS, tpms, odbc2, 3 camera input, and carplay/android auto. Can some of those options be enabled with known codes instead of purchasing?
I'm also open to suggestions for a better unit with smaller display. The swivel mount on the 12.8 will be handy with the already angled dash layout in the RV.
Thank you in advance for the help with this.

All these units are manufactored at Klyde. All others are only reseller. They just sell and give no real support...
To get the best support and the possibility to talk with them about the needed features, you should have a look directly at Klyde.
Get in contact via website, tell them your wishes and you will get an offer.
May be you are able to get it a bit down, or some gift extra.

Why create a topic with a question about a device where there is already a discussion about this device?

I saw that thread and read through every post. I also did a lot of searching in these forums and others. NO ONE has asked these questions yet and I was looking for help. I'm terribly sorry I inconvenienced you with my inquiry. I'll stop posting on XDA it seems. After 12 years I guess things have changed here and it's no longer about helping those with questions.

I was wondering if it was either Belsee or Klyde, but I saw on another thread that the boards were labeled Dacca or something. I've reached out to Klyde and have their prices and options. TY rigattoni.

You have not caused me inconvenience, inconvenience to those who like and you will look for answers to their questions. It is more convenient to have information in one topic, not in different ones. If you don't have a hard time let's have a discussion and share experiences on that topic.
Hello people, can anyone help me with my problem, a few years ago I bought a Android 2din HU and I can't find which brand it is, when open the " about...." I see the model name A-Media Auto (1024X600 0)
Because the unit has Android V6.0.1 and it's getting slow and out of new app's I like to know if I can upgrade or root it so I could get more pleasure of it.
Or is it better to buy a new one for my Qashqai J10 and which brand?
Sorry, a lot of questions but I'm running out of searching on the net because there to many brands !!!
Hope someone can help me out of this, Thx in advance
After reading the forums, you will have learnt what is needed to identify head units from the thousands of variants.
You could then post the required details.
Perhaps read a few of my posts as a start. Xda is full of first timers looking for support instead of development
