Hi guys,
I have Vava Chroma UST projector and I was trying to adjust colors with Projectivy Launcher app and in After sale menu, ive clikced on Switch to factory test. Now each time I reboot I get that screen first. Also after I messed this up Ive cliked on one more test and now that one is showing on boot as well .
Can anyone please help me with advice on how to disable those test modes.
I tried with factory reset, tried to clear the cache of those system apps but they still show on boot.
the os is broken, you should replace the device

Were you ever able to figure out a solution to this? I find myself in a similar situation and their tech support is next to useless. They just tell you to wait so they can send the issue over to their engineers and never end up getting back to you.

I currently have an unlocked MB860 running 4.5.91. I tried taking the OTA update to 4.5.141 and it did not complete. I removed the battery and rebooted, it got into a boot loop. I was able to clear the bootloop by wiping the cache partition. All this is well documented here in the forum and was a great help.
The problem afterward that I have lingering is that any first menu item on the touchscreen in portrait only mode is not select-able. If i orient to landscape mode, it is.
I have searched without much luck to resolve this and before I try to reset to factory defaults I wanted to reach out and see if anyone here is aware of a resolution.
Thanks in advance...

I have to ask have you tried rebooting the phone again with a battery pull. That fixed my problem when I had something like that with mine
Firstly I am new to this and want to apologize for my english since it is not my first language, so please go easy on me
I recently did my first ever rooting on my new N10 16GB using CF-Auto-Root and did not flash custom recovery. It all went fine and worked great until last night when I tried changing fonts using Font Installer. After installing a font and rebooting, the device wouldn't boot past the X-Logo.
Restarting didn't work and after reading other threads I entered Recovery and did the Data Wipe/Factory Reset, but still get stuck at the X.
I tried the Clear Cache option and have done Data Wipe/Factory Reset several times, with and without USB plugged into computer, without any results.
Also, I don't think I enabled USB Debugging after rooting, if this makes any difference right now.
I really don't know where to go from here and as this is as far as my experience goes in these things and not wanting to mess up the device completely, I now turn to you for advice, hoping my dear tablet is not beyond rescue already.
Please please help me out!
SOLVED! I used this guide doing a stock recovery and it's working again!
Keeping this post if it may help someone else =)

Verizon G2 - stock rom, rooted and had OTA updates blocked for at least 5 months.. 4.2.2 ver 11a build JDQ39B
restarted phone the other day and it would boot and you would briefly see your home screen and then boot loop to the white verizon logo screen. Every other time it looped, it would not show the home screen, just a blank screen. I did get it to boot to safe mode and unistalled a few apps I thought might be problems,,, didn't help. I discovered that if I quickly tapped the home screen in that brief 2 seconds during the loop, it would boot.
I really hate to undo tether, un-root and factory reset. I hate to go through updates and re-root and hack tether but I will as last resort.
Any thoughts on cause or suggestions?
Thanx
check lgocat for logs and try to eliminate the cause that way.
check kmesh in logs, dunno exact wording, but it also says something about boot there.
Use a tool like android tuner or something similar to disable startup stuff and try to eliminate that way
Weird G2 bootloop - got a fix?
Thanks for suggestions, I will give them a try.

try any logging tool from playstore. also try searching on how to obtain those logs. probably requires root. mind warrantee ofcourse.
at which point I would do a total complete clean install. that eliminates software issues. still there and you did not restore anything/install anything then its hardware.
Hey all, been a while since I've been on - longest I've ever had a stock phone for . Hoping somebody can offer some advice as I'm stumped...
NOTE: If possible, I'm trying to avoid a factory reset!
Last night my stock UK Note 4 (SM-N910F) died (possibly during an OTA update but I wasn't using the phone and have been told it didn't so not sure) and when turned back on would just sit at the pulsing Samsung logo with no apparent restarting or anything. Clearing the cache didn't make a difference.
Recovery reported my ROM to be N910FXXS1DQE9 (region BTU). After waiting ages for the download, I first tried BTU-N910FXXU1BOC5 which produced the exact same problem with a different Samsung animation. I then tried BTU-N910FXXU1DQHC which seemed to sort of work - it would now boot but gave me a "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" error with a black screen. I then flashed BTU-N910FXXU1DQH3 which is what I have running currently but this does the same thing. I did also try wiping cache in combination with the above (is this actually needed after flashing a new ROM?). I have also tried safemode - would let me open the power menu but otherwise did exactly the same thing.
I'm currently downloading the original ROM that wouldn't boot (N910FXXS1DQE9) from samsung-firmware but it's taking ages at ~50KBps. What are the chances of this working compared with the others, I assume probably not much? If likely, I'll pay up for an account and a quick download.
I've also tried flashing TWRP but I have reactivation lock on - does anybody know a way to disable / bypass this without access to the phone (research tells me probably not but there are a lot of smarter people than me here that I hope could tell me otherwise ). I can get into stock recovery but that only gives me ADB in sideload mode and I can also enter download mode fine obviously. Does anyone have any suggestions on recovering data from the phone before I factory reset?
Simply put, have I lost everything on the phone or is there a way I can retrieve some of it?
Also, I do have a load of server space I can offer with decent bandwidth - I have those ROM images above so I can offer these for download at a decent speed without a cost if anybody here on XDA needs - just send me a PM for a link
Hey everyone! I just wondered if there was anyone out there still messing with their Nexus Q’s! I Just tried to install CM11 on my Nexus Q and it failed on installing CWM. Then it wouldn’t load and only showed a black screen with the spinning Blue LED’s. Tried to install an older recovery but same result. Tried to factory reset but only get spinning blue LED’s and a bootloop in logcat. Did I brick it or is there hope? Willing to pay to help me through this haha!!
Figured it out!
If you’re having this issue too the easiest thing to do is start over by flashing a factory reset. You can get the image from https://developers.google.com/android/images and scroll down to Nexus Q. They have good instructions on the page as well. From there, I followed this guide exactly https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2408799
The issue I was having with the black screen was solved by changing my monitor I was using to troubleshoot. CWM on Nexus Q has a different input timing than a regular boot of the Q so it just doesn’t work with some TV’s and monitors for some reason. So if you get the black screen issue don’t be afraid to try several monitors or even [email protected] http://droid-at-screen.org/
Now that it is running I have no issues. Chances are you didn’t brick your device.
