Hi,
I have recently purchased a joying head unit running android 8.0.
I have installed carwebguru to use as my default home screen for apps and I have set it as the home app in settings>apps and notifications>default apps> home app. The carwebguru works as the home app temporarily but once I switch off the car and re-start it, it defaults back to the launcher<3 app
Does anyone know how I can permanently set this as my default home app?

Which exact type of Joying PX5 do you have? My 8.0.0 PX5 model ends on P2, and I use Carwebguru as well. After the first reboot it simply asked which launcher to use, and also "once" or "always". I selected "always" and now WebGuru always starts. I did not change or do anything in the settings.

Hey, thanks for the response I am using the 8" single din build number 8.0.0 OPR5.170623.
I downloaded the carwebguru straight from the google play store, I did not get asked which launcher I wanted to use I had to go in to the settings as mentioned. Also, are you using the latest version of carwebguru?
I just tried factory resetting the head unit and re-installing but I get the exact same issue.

Need the model number, the joying PART number, to give more detailed support. Can you provide it? Maybe on your box or invoice.

The SKU number on the order confirmation is EU-JY-UOS01N4PX5 if that is any help. Can't see anything on the box
Hello everyone,
I have been looking around google and the forum for a way to fix my issue and I have not been that successful.
I have recently bought a EUNAVI head unit. I was not able to identify the MCU version, but the chipset is RK3199 I believe. I can give more information in regards to this if needed.
My main issue is that after installing Google App, Google Assistant and even Google Voice, for some reason the "Okay Google" only works if you are in the Google App. Is this due to the App Launcher used (so it may work with a different launcher) or is there anything that makes the Google App run in the background?
Edit: just to be clear, the "Voice Match" option in the Google App cannot be selected.

I'm new on this forum and don't know if this is the appropriate place to post my question. If it isn't please redirect me.
I have recently bought an Android head unit for my Ford Galaxy, and am trying to find my way around it. I don't really like the default built in radio app and would like to replace it, I don't want an Internet radio app, but something which works via the aeriel.
Can anyone advise me about how to go about it? I suspect that I need to download something from Google play store, but what do I need to look for?

Could definitely use some help here. Diving back into the android head unit game after having an AN-21U long ago. Just got a kufine ts18 unit. Thinking of returning it. I can't get Netflix or other streaming services to play because of the play protect issue, I assume. Netflix not compatible. Disney plus error 39. Anyways, I'd like to keep it, but I need to figure out if it can be rooted. Notice some options for ts10, but no specific ts18 options. Help?
The main difference between TS10 and TS18 is the CPU, in addition to the difference in the main frequency and the production process is different, TS18 is a very good entry device, of course, more mature and stable is TS10. Recently TOPWAY will also launch the new TS6 platform, there is updated news I will release a new post in XDA public, TOPWAY platform can be used normally! NETFLIX, DISNEY and other APPs

I was having some wifi issues, so I did a factory reset.
But after the reset, the zlink app is missing... so I don't have CarPlay now...
I'm trying to get in touch with the buyer, but no success.
Can anyone help me?

I have T18. I have done factory reset many times. there was no problem. fake android 11 system Even if I don't understand much, I am ready to help if there is anything I can help with.

Hi iskenderr. Were you able to install again zlink? I am stuck in the activation code. I've instaled several versions but is always the same. There is any other app or solution to connect your phone wireless?
TLink 1.8.6 comes installed even though I did a factory reset. I guess it registers automatically because only wifi is active.
Finally, I've contacted the seller and they send me a .zip with all the preinstalled apps. I've copied them in an external memory usb and directly install the apps, in my junsun ts18, include tlink5. Everything working like the first day. Excelent service by the seller, Junsun France.
carpalen, I had your same problem, I have a junsun dw894g and I need the apps to install, is it possible to have them? The Chinese where I got it didn't understand anything. it's a ts18 for me too

Is anybody else having issues with navigation apps? If used normally all is ok with sound, but whenever any navigation app is set as the main navigation app it loses all sound
Its an Eonon Q03pro TS18 2.2 windowed mode latest firmware and latest mcu. These units use ilauncher themes and the windowed themes allow you to set whichever navigation app is the main one in a window on the launcher which is a great feature
I have tried Google maps, waze, tomtom go, sygic and igo all sounds and voice guidance works but only if not set as main navigation app.
Just wondered if anyone knows how to be able to set it as main system navigation but not lose sound as its pretty useless without sound

Fixed....well seems to be, found a thread on a similar problem on TS10 units so was worth a try i thought and it works....
The Solution in case it helps others
Go to Android settings -> Apps and notifications -> Advanced -> Apps with special permissions -> Access to notifications -> Uncheck "Google" option.
For some reason that service has broken notification chanel in Android sound output

Did you get your sound working? I too have a TS18, mine is AINAVI brand which I just finished installing. So far I've been using stock apps, and the TLink for CarPlay music and nav (Waze) using an iPhone. So far, I'm impressed, though would like to update nav and music for offline use. Perhaps you can share which Android apps you found worked best. I've installed VLC for playing video and found it to work much better than what came stock. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Yes I disabled Google services I think it was, I'm using sygic for nav, amazon music, the stock music player is ok apart from no search function, musicolet is good so is poweramp but unfortunately cant be displayed on music widget on homescreen but can always use another launcher like agama or car launcher pro
