I recently tried to root my device by using Odin to flash CWM onto the phone, and then from there i tried installing Super user in recovery mode, but after restarting my phone, it popped up with "Verification Failed, Unable to restart your device. The integrity verification has failed. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data." And it has a reset button below. I regretfully didn't backup my device and I don't want to lose all my data. Please help :crying:
P.S. I am using an Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and it is on latest firmware (7.0. Nougat)
I don't know if it is too late. Just go to sammobile and download firmware for your phone. Download it to your phone using odin. press and wait volume down and power button till you see black screen. After that immediately press and wait vol down+home+power button until you see download windows were you select volume up to select odin flash mode. you should be quick while doing this otherwise you can't get to download mode. when your screen goes black you should release keys and immediately press above combination. After that just flash your rom without messing up with odin. In odin go to AP select browse and select your rom connect your phone while it is in download mode. you should see "Added" in odin window with usb indicator. press start and wait till it finishes. this will upgrade your phone. in your case refresh system and you should supposed to boot to system without loosing any files and apps.
You will not loose any files because it is stored in userdata partition and flashing stock rom doesnt delete it. make sure you don't change options in odin leave them in default.
Please note that this will work only in your case or similar to your case were you didn't flashed custom firmware yet. For others it may not work.
I'm not responsible for any loss and you are doing it in your own risk. I've tried this more than 10 times cause i like messing with my phones. In all off them i was successful even in times i was in custom rom.
Go ahead and good luck.

Special Notes:
1. DON'T FORGET TO ENABLE "OEM UNLOCK" (located in Developers options).
2. KNOX will be tripped once you flashed custom binaries to your phone.
(Your warranty may be voided. However this may not affect you if your country forces Samsung to provide hardware warranty regardless of software status.)
3. Samsung Firmware OTA (aka System Updates) will no longer work once you flashed custom binaries.
(You can flash custom ROMs if you want to keep the OS up-to-date.)
WHAT IS TWRP?
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.

2) Go back to the main Settings page, scroll to bottom and select“Developer options” from there.
3) Under Developer options, look for “Enable OEM unlock”checkbox/toggle and make sure you Check it or turn it ON.
4) Now Boot your Samsung Android device into Download mode.To Do So Follow the steps below
5) Switch off your device.
6) Press and hold “Home + Power + Volume down” buttons for a few seconds until you see a warning screen.

Once your device is in download mode, connect it to the PC with a USB cable. The Odin will automatically detect the device and show an “Added!!” message. If not then your device is not connected properly
7) Now click on the AP tab on Odin window and select the TWRP recovery .tar file that you downloaded for your device.
8) Click the Start button on Odin to start Flashing and wait for it to finish the process.
Once it finished successfully, a pass message on the Odin screen will pop up
Your device will automatically reboot when Odin is done flashing. Now You can disconnect your device.
Done!!! TWRP is now installed on your device

Hello :3 i performed the same steps but it just keeps corrupting my stock/current rom after i flash twrp. Some people face this same problem... What they can do is they can flash back the original samsung rom without the stock recovery, so then the twrp one will be there.

Big thanks to dzkouba!!! W/o your report I'd have probably given up because at the time of trying out your solution I've already spent 20+ hours trying to install TWRP on my SM-C9000 (Hong Kong).
For what it's worth, here are the things you will need to do in order to install TWRP on your SM-C9000:
Unlock the bootloader
Enable "OEM Unlock", which can only be done in version 7 (Nougat) or earlier Miracle Box didn't work for me.
Flash a TWRP version that's tailored for SM-C900F (as dzkouba suggested)
Hi I m using sm p550 having Australian firmware as bought from there. I want to root it. I tried flashing twrp recovery using Odin. It says pass but don't load the recovery. I tried many times but didn't work. It also doesn't have oem unlock option in settings. Please help me how to solve it and root my device running on nougat 7.1
Make sure you follow the instructions:
You have to uncheck the "auto reboot" checkbox in the options tab. Flash the recovery in the AP-Slot. Turn the device off holding power + home + volume down; when the screen goes black switch to power + home + volume up. If you boot to Android then you have to reflash & retry.
So here is my situation: SM-G950U with a fresh clean install of stock 9.0 firmware via Odin. Phone reboots, and begins setup. However, I'm met with FRP warning. No big deal, since I know a way around that, but I need to reboot to download mode first and install safestrap to do it. Problem is that neither button hold combination does anything except boot the phone normally. Vol up nor vol down + Bixby + Power provide results from a reboot or a powered off state, except boot the phone normally. I cannot use adb commands either because developer options are not yet enabled because I can't get passed the FRP screen. I should be able to access both modes regardless of what stage of setup the device is in, correct? I know I have before. Is this some kind of security patch? Is there any other way to get to download mode to use Odin? Or a method to bypass FRP without Odin or a custom recovery, or safestrap? I'm really stuck on why I can't force it using the three buttons during boot/reboot. Thanks in advance for your input.
