Hi everyone!
I have bougth a Redmi Pro on Gearbest and it came with Chinese/English Version of MIUI.
After a week of usage, i turned off my xiaomi and when i turned back on, it stucked on a Mi logo. Far as i discovered searching on web, it was a bug that other peopel have reported too.
I took a opportunity of having this bug to fix, to put other rom on the phone. A rom with Portuguese language witch is my mother lang.
I tried to put the new rom via "SP Flash took" with the fastboot mod but without success.
I requested the unlocking on Xiaomi Unlocking site and when they repplyed and i connected the xiaomi to the computer, the program (XiaomiMiFlash) gave me an error message telling ""Couldn´t verify device. Current account is diferent from the account info in the device"
No i can´t do nothing with the phone.
Can you guys have some idea how can i solve this?
Thank you all!
There is a good chance that the phone is already unlocked.
What was the problem with fastboot? Maybe drivers issue?
Have you tried flashing TWRP? If it takes then the phone is unlocked and you can proceed with flashing the xiaomi.eu or globerom.

Tks 4 the support!
About the Fastboot i putted the phone on fastboot mode and i disabled the Driver Signature Enforcement on Windows. I connected the phone to the computer and started to run the SP Flash Tool. After the process was completed it wont gave me any result because the phone still stucked on Mi logo..
I did'n tried the TWRP because in every tutorial tells me that i need to go to the Developer Mode and activate the USB debugging i can not access to that because the phone don't give me more than the Mi logo.
hmm the fastboot method should have worked. Have you tried it on another computer, maybe 32bit windows?
When finished flashing with miflash in fastboot did it say it was ok at the end or did it give you an error? Als tried to reboot a few times after flashing without usb cable in the phone?

I'm out of ideas at this point.
I had some trouble with fastboot that my phone did restart when in fastboot mode.
Then i had to change the order of plugging in the cable and starting the program but after that all worked.
No idea what next ...
I had this issue with a Redmi 3. I can't remember the exact solution but I believe you have to have the developer ROM installed in order to unlock the bootloader. Maybe if you search for an anterior model such as the Redmi 3 you will find more information on how to load your ROM. I'm sure that it's the same method for most Xiaomi phones. Good luck!
I heard about do a Hard Reset but i dont know how to do that because i cant access to the OS of the xiaomi.
Is there a way to do a hard reset with the xiaomi stucked on Mi logo?
Tks!
Happy 2017 for all!
I tried to put my phone one Recovery Mode but it is blocked. Its like the phone on this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTzdQpex7BQ
How can i unlock this?
I never could get into the xiaomi recovery either but i managed to flash twrp through fastboot though.

Hi
Does your problem with sp flashtools and flashing the ROM be solved ?
Sent from my Redmi Pro
I had this problem, but I'd installed TWRP already. But you shouldn't need USB Debugging on to flash TWRP. If you manage to flash TWRP, flash a new ROM (I recommend xiaomi.eu (I think they have Portuguese)) and wipe the Dalvik cache, /cache, and /data (you probably won't have to wipe /data/media).
Miui themes
Sorry will start new item
Have you tried a different cable, that is why mine wasn't recognized at first.
I'm having the same problem here. The phone rebooted itself when I changed the locale, and hung at the Mi logo. I already had TWRP flashed. I also took the opportunity to install a new ROM; the Global Dev ROM. It installed with no errors and I wiped the Dalvik, cache, etc. Still hangs at the Mi logo, but this time without the little loading dots at the bottom. Any suggestions?
Update: I can bring it back to the original state with the loading dots and "powered by Android" at the bottom with a backup I took before flashing the new rom, but still no progress.
I managed to restore my phone using the video:
Flash Xiaomi Redmi Pro Using SP Flash Tool [Locked Bootloader]
I can't post links since I don't have enough posts here yet, but search for it on Youtube.
Update: It seems like the unlocking permissions on my account have been retroactively rejected, I wonder if that has something to do with it. I also can't seem to find the Global ROM for the Redmi Pro anymore, just the China one. Does anyone have a link for the official Global ROM on the Xiaomi site?
Update 2: Suddenly I have unlock permission again, without reapplying, so that's cool. I installed the Eu HMPro ROM, everything's working well so far.

You could try dowloading the official rom and then download the CHINESE version of mipc suite then enter fastboot and connect the phone
Normally the chinese mi pcsuite automaticly detects the phone is in fastboot mode, you could use google translate to translate it all just choose redmi pro on model selector (the top selection bar)the text there is untranslateable just choose the one that says pro
And then under it chose the one that translate to chinese
After That there's two tick box under it, choose the ROM you downloaded
After that chose the one that translate to install brush package, if it doesn't work choose the download brush package next to it
Thus method worked for me when my phone bricked hope it helps you
I have tried to upgrade my Xiaomi to Android 8.1 through flashing. I rebooted the device after fastboot. Now every time i hold the power button it vibrates like a heartbeat and stops when i let go of power button. When it is plugged in with the cable it doesn't stop vibrating (like a heartbeat). I don't know what is going on, hard bricked?? Is there a way I can fix this. Thank you...
I have the same problem after a flash with Miflash Plug in USB in phone keeps the phone vibrating but don't start up. Put the phone in EDL mode by test point method stops vibration.

White blinking LED = EDL mode. You can flash in MiFlash in this, with the right driver.
Check my thread, something called "Mi A1 Low-Level Backup Tool" or similar (i'm on phone) for details about EDL mode.
Just flash stock ROM in EDL mode, if it doesn't fix it then you have some serious issues (like damaged hardware).

@CosmicDan I know that white blinking led is EDL mode but for me it is something different.
I put my phone in EDL mode by test point method and the phone got recognized as USB 9008 or something like that. Than I open Miflash and my phone got successful flashed with stock rom. but after that it don't start up but only thing I see is white blinking led when I connect it to a charger.

Can anyone backup a rom of mi a1 using twrp? Then I could fix my Xiaomi
Hi, today my Axon 7 got stuck in EDL mode for the second time. And I would like to know why...
I was about to flash TWRP in order to try LOS 16.0 and when I turned the phone off and plugged the cable with the button combo it entered into EDL Mode sucessfully (PC recognises it normally, COM3) but EDL Tool got stuck at "Loading the programmer: prog_ufs_firehose_8996_ddr.elf".
The only way to fix this problem as far as I know is by restarting the phone into EDL again but mine is somehow getting stuck and I can't restart/turn off
As I said before this is the second time it's happening, and the last time the only way i got it fixed was by waiting until the battery runs out and then try again.
Does anybody know what causes this? Is there any fix? Thanks in advance
Sorry for my english

Only way out of EDL Mode (asides from flashing a file) is to let the battery drain completely.
If your phone gets stuck loading the .elf file whilst using the Axon 7 EDL Tool, you can try a couple things: -
- Change which USB port you are plugging into
- Change your wire
- Use MiFlash instead, simply just put the twrp into a folder and rename the twrp to recovery.img and select that folder in MiFlash.
- Make sure your Axon 7 EDL Tool is extracted properly to C:/ Axon 7 EDL Tool
- Go into EDL mode via ADB and try again, or go into EDL mode via just plugging in your device whilst it's on the home screen and launching the EDL Tool. The EDL Tool will automatically take you to EDL mode.
Hey there,
just wanted to add that I had the very same issue. In my case I solved it by letting my battery drain just like you described and get into EDL Mode once more but this time with another USB slot.
More precisely I tried it with USB 2.0 instead of 3.0. I don't know if that was the resolving change in the end but then it suddenly worked out for my. In my case it was full flashing nougat 7.1.1 when I had Oreo b03 before.
2 solutions:
- try rebooting to EDL, using Axon 7 EDL Tool flash a custom recovery. It will then ask you to reboot.
- you can also flash a full EDL stock ROM, but you will certainly lose data.
- if you can't use Axon 7 EDL Tool because EDL mode isn't working correcly, let the battery drain totally then boot to EDL.
Phone won't turn on
Bootloder mode is running
Fastboot mode rom loading
After rebooting, the leeco is waiting for 15s on the boot screen, and then the black screen and the notification light turn blue.
The same applies in EDL mode
Loading recovery with Fastboot
blackboard and blue notification light are on again
(sorry for my bad english)
(computer phone with black screen and blue led light
qualcomm hs-usb diagnostics 900e)

Try putting the phone into fastboot and use the All in One tool to check to see if the boot loader is still unlocked, sometimes you can flash something that will relock the bootloader and you will get the blue light, which can also mean that the battery is almost dead.
if you can unlock or it shows that it is unlocked, try flashing recovery with All In One tool. If successful Reboot to power off and fully charge phone then wipe and reinstall your rom etc.
Edit:
I just browsed your history, you flashed Jui and the recent Miui roms ( Pie) Anybody else reading stay away from those roms they are poorly made As is the JUI rom that @ceylin45 flashed.
I am pretty sure that the Jui rom or maybe even the Miui Rom uses the S1 bootloader, and that your issue is because you now have a locked S1 bootloader on your phone,
If I am remembering correctly, another XDA user had this exact issue. Caused by flashing a JUI rom.
If you can not unlock it or flash the correct EUI bootloader your only option will be using EUI for the S1, and unfortunately you will never be able to flash a custom rom again, you will be permanently stuck with EUI. This happened a few months ago to a user named Noel, he sold his phone as is.
Thank you very much for your interest.
do you know s1 eui connection i can use

Unfortunately I don't have the guys details, (The guy who flashed the S1 version of EUI) He had the exact same issue that you are now having and he was able to get EUI working, that is what he told us.
I will look around and get back with you
Okay I am back
I found the conversation with that guy on Telegram, but I don't think he uses telegram anymore. You can go here and read his posts : https://t.me/leecolepro3roms/67347
He posted an image, of the files that he extracted from a S1 fastboot rom and pasted those into the leeco Qfil ( If I am remembering correctly. ) A few days later he told me that he got the phone working again by flashing RUI for the S1 which can be found on 4PDA here : http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=819125
Use Google translate and search this thread and you should find some discussions about using the S1 EUI to resolve your issue. Quite a few people apparently had that exact issue a couple of years ago. Again this is all from memory, and I didn't write anything in my notes because I don't have a coolpad. However, I am pretty sure that this will probably help you with at least getting EUI working.
Good luck.
@ceylin45
I updated what I wrote, so I am pinging you in case you didn't see it.
Thank you
I will search
