D25 Today – Introduction
- This is a plug-in for PocketPC Today screen with Windows Mobile 2003.
- If you like a plug-in called Owner Info X, then you may like this
- It displays your owner name, images with catchy blending effect automatically switched after XX seconds and full DateTime on your screen.
- Also, it can show you how many percents of battery life remains and you can tap on a nice button to power off or restart your PPC easily !

Version 0.8 beta (Jan 24, 2005)
1) Users can input their name (allow Unicode) (this name can differ from OwnerInfo name). Some softwares doesn’t allow you change OwnerInfo name after registering them, so this feature is for you.
2) Shows your favourite words on Today screen. Multi-line by adding '|' in your text
3) Blending effect between two images
4) Switched images every XXX seconds
5) Showing Battery level bar, when click on it => Power off or Restart (holding)
6) English, Vietnamese full date & time
7) Lunar calendar supported (thanks to Duc Ho Ngoc)
8) Open Clock setting when tapping on Day of Week

I have installed this program on my IIs and found out the time is not displayed correctly and overlapping on the second part (hour and minute are okay).
I have followed the instruction to untap the OK button right after installing.
Is there anyway I can change the time format displayed to just showing Hour:Minutes (removing Second)?

It is not compatible with SPB Pocket Plus...
When I install it, the Pocket Plus dissapears from my today menu... When I uninstall it, it is back...

I think this is not D25's problem. The reason is that you have to many plug-in in your Today. Removing some of them will solve this.

This is a good idea but as mentioned slow, so keep improving.

If you want a quick second today, take the battery status today. Then you have two today screens. But this kill one today and go to the other today. This good to save memory. For me its good. In one I have all my things. And if I want IGO8 I take the other.

Could you please elaborate what is the "battery status today" that you use for mToday with minimal memory?
I try to do the same: one mToday profile with the applications I commonly use and the other mToday profile for iGO8. The profile with commonly used applications works OK but when the link of the empty profile for iGO8 is invoked it stuck my HTC Trinity such that it needs a hard reset. The succeeding boot yields the empty Today.
Not a convenient way to switch profiles, though...

I posted this over at MobiSapienz but it may be easier to chat over here?
So I read:
"Added command line option to launch settings (-p0)"
When I do:
Run(SystemPath( "ProgramFiles" ) \ "Vicsoft\MToday\mToda y.exe","-p1")
It pops up the mToday Switcher and leaves it there.
Am I not doing the command line argument correctly. I did try "-1" but as I suspected that also popped up the switcher.
I am also assuming -p0 refers to mToday 1, and -p1 would refer to mToday 2.
I kind of wish there were a reg setting for "Current mToday Profile" for last switched profile.

Its basicly a different visual clock, to read the hours see the left vertical columns and for the minutes see the right 5-rows columns.
The PDF on the site above explains it better...
To use:

- 5 colors to choose from, just press the bottom bar to change colors.
- If you prefer a 12-hour clock, simply click the left numbers after 13h.
- Exit with enter (keypad) or by pressing the top-right area.
- See the "normal" digital clock and date by pressing anywhere else on the screen.
Notes:

- Needs FLASH 7, if it doesnt exit properly, you dont have it.
- Attached the CAB, already with the WM6.5 icon on install.
- Also added a separated swf file, to see it run on your NOKIA, PC or Throttle Launcher..

Sorry, the software I use for the EXE only allows VGA/QVGA, he doesnt even allow any extra options for the size or screen color.

Just wondering... what is the program you are using for these standalone apps? I could probably use the same thing to make my own FlashGadgets play as standalones, which would make them work across a broader series of device platforms. I was not sure where to put this, but I wanted to make my app available for your custom rom.
It requires no configuration. Just download "Don't Pause and click the start button to start the service. It runs in the background and whenever you start music, the app will put your phone into vibrate mode. After you stop the music, "Don't Pause" changes your phone back to normal volume. It is that simple, but there are a few options in the free version.
The paid version Unlocks quite a few upgrades that will automate the use of the service.

After head unit sleep in most cases LTE/4G connection gets not re-established and only a 2G connection is available. In other cases the head unit shows "No Sim" in status bar. *
My attached app LTErecover should fix this problem and restart the required services if there is no 4G connection after sleep mode.

Attached version 1.3alpha.
- Changed reliability by directly stopping and starting the service instead of using properties

The version is marked as alpha and will display some toast messages which help me to test the app.
