We recently got a 10.1 Android Stereo Head Unit from those Amazon Return Stores for $8. By the looks of it, it has stayed in a start up loop. I believe it might not have the android software because it starts up with Android 11 wording, then Android wording comes out as if loading in white to grayish, then different colored circles appear in the center with i believe Chinese letters at the bottom and its seems to be loading there and then it freezes and starts the same loop again and again. I have tried holding the reset button on the top left corner with different variation of touching the power, return, home, volume up, volume down and no luck. I don't even know how to enter recovery mode. I have tried looking it up online but cant seem to pin point the model number or brand. Does anyone know how I can flash android on it, maybe any android stereo head unit will work on this? Any guidance would be appreciated. I have uploaded some images to see if anyone recognizes the unit. Thank you!

I don't know Chinese, but this message on the screen means something like "under cleaning" according to Google Translate.
And you can't flash any firmware even it's for head units, (in a nutshell) as it varies a lot from device specification.
Yeah I figured, the only thing is trying to figure out what brand it is to see if they have a website or a email to contact.
Open it carefully (are there flat cables) and check for some code on the main board. Search for this code on Google.

Hello everyone. Buy a unit with Haoling frimware 00009_V0001_20191128. To improve it a bit, install the YT9216B_00002_V004_2101012_HIFI_V3 frimware with SPFlashtool. The new frimware was working fine, but the drive seemed slower, so I decided to look for another lighter frimware without so many extras. My problem comes when when installing the new frimware I forgot to uncheck the Preload box and when I realized I got nervous and disconnected the cable, this caused the display of the unit to remain black and illuminated.
My first failure was not to backup the drive in its original state, and since then I have been testing frimwares without success, the most I have achieved is having a home screen with 3 boot options and an arrow moving in a loop, but at not having physical buttons I can not do anything.
I have had access to a unit equal to mine, to which I have been able to make a dump backup, but I am unable to load it, since the unit sounds as if it is constantly connecting and disconnecting and does not complete the loading of User.
The Test Point system does not seem to work for me, or that or something I am not doing well and I cannot find any video to see how it is done.
Ultimately, I don't know if my unit has a fix or if it will stay like a brick.

Disconnect the black connector from the radio for at least 30 min..next, it should boot directly to system..if it freezes at the Android logo, you have installed a incorrect firmware

So the Android head unit on the family's Tucson is a Beryllium brand Head unit installed by the Hyundai showroom. It boots to a pure black screen, radio doesn't work but Bluetooth does. I think the cause was from a failed firmware update and would like to know how to put it in recovery mode or are there any software I could flash in my flash drive to fix it.

The unit if memory serves me right from the device info was rckPX2 I think? Android 4.4.4

Hi all.
I have an RSNav in my car running Android 9, I also have modded headlights that can be controlled via the bluetooth app on my phone. I thought that I'd be able to install the app on my RSNav and control it that way instead of being phone dependant, however the app doesn't work properly on the head unit.
The app is 'Morimoto XBT RGB' and while their hardware is top quality the app is really poor, and it hasn't been updated for about 4 years. When trying to run this on the unit, it does load up, but it's clear that it isn't designed for landscape devices as the title displays all stretched and pixelated. On the main screen it has a color wheel, but this doesn't work properly; it gets cut off and the dot on the wheel glitches all over the place, as does the tone selector. The icons at the bottom also get cut off and you cannot scroll down on the RSNav. I've not even bothered to try and connect via bluetooth.

I've not got a huge understanding of all this. The RSNav has Android 9, but it's kind of a cut down version and doesn't have all features/options, say, a phone would have. It has nothing to do with screen orientation in the settings, for example. And I've had issues with other apps such as "Poweramp" - it threw an error when I tried to set music folder locations (but I managed to get around it) and people seemed to point out that "something" was missing it depended on.
Anyway I did try some screen orientation apps to try and force it to run in some kind of portrait mode but nothing worked.
So my question is: is there any way to get this working or is it a lost cause?
I wish Morimoto would update the app since a lot of people have had many issues with it, it's outdated, and it has a low rating because of this. But at the moment it stands neglected.
Hi, guys I'm new at this, so bear with me, I got a new android 10 unit from AliExpress, https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLwdGdk, the t7 with 4gb 64gb storage. I got here and checked and it's fine, same specs. My car is a Peugeot 508 2013.
Everything is working according to the specs, but the canbus setting are very different from what I've seen in other units alike this one. The seller has been trying to help me, but is hard due the language barrier and the time difference, 12 hours. I have the code for the factory settings. 3368, dunno if that is helpful.
First I can't seem to find how to put the front camera after reverse with the lines, I tried one option and swaps, but stays on it doesn't automatically turns off. Also there is no option to change the resolution of the camera in the radio.
I saw another video and that unit got messages from the car into the unit.
That's a canbus problem, if it is can I buy another one? Or can it be upgraded without bricking it. Is a launcher issue?, I'm lost.
Also is it safe to install any other launcher via the playstore?
Any tips are really appreciate it.

Here are the pics, according to the seller it cannot be used like that, if I change the canbus for another model of canbus that supports my 508? will the menu change of the canbus? or it has to be the software? Can I install for example the junsun or joying? That has the same CPU?

I tried to search but did not find anything, and do apologize if this is a sort of a question everyone is sick of.
The unit is in the Honda accord 2007 we got. It appears to be a seicane, i think, based on the outside. I did not rip it out yet to see what is on the back side of it.
From the interface it does not seem to have any way to show its Android signature. All i can see is this screen shown below.
The Navi function does not work - if i press that button, just nothing happens. The car controls, AC, radio all seem to work. Both SD card slots on both sides of the unit are empty.
I am unable to find any details online for this unit, looks like it may be an older one? Would be great to figure out if it is upgradable, and what firmware can be used on it.
Please help.

This is for sure an older Win CE5 or 6 unit.
If you want to stay on it, you need to find an older Win CE navigation, because all the stuff of the navigation incl. maps needs to be on this SD card. The Nav button on your unit searches always on the SD card marked with Navi or similar on the front.
...and yes, no one uses these old units anymore, there is at least no support available in this forum.
