Users Experience Glitches with some Google Services - OPPO Find X5 Pro General

Some users are experiencing glitches with two Google-related features on the OPPO Find X5 Pro. I wanted to detail these issues and see if anyone else in the community has them, and then hopefully we can figure out a fix. These are the issues-
Google Assistant Not Working ProperlyWhen activating the Google voice assistant with the voice feature "Ok Google" some users are reporting that the assistant cannot hear them past this point. Their voice does not register, and Google is not able to figure out what you are saying.

}
If you are experiencing this glitch, there is a temporary workaround. When activating the Google Assistant from the power button, this problem seems to go away. To make sure that you can access Google Assistant from your power button, go to Settings > System Settings > Wake Google Assistant with Power Button.
Users experiencing this glitch have reported that a factory reset does not fix the issue. We may have to wait for an official update to fix this issue.
Google One Subscription Features Not WorkingGoogle One is a subscription service that unlocks additional editing options for your photos, 100GB of storage for photos, sharing features, and more. Some users are having an issue where the features that should come with Google One are not accessible on the OPPO Find X5 Pro.
As of right now, I do not know of any temporary fix for this, so hopefully, we can figure it out.
These issues are not consistent across all users, as I have not had these problems on my personal Find X5 Pro. If you are having these issues please post in this thread leaving as much detail as possible. Thanks!

The above pops up sometimes on its own, as well as generally when I get an alert for a new text or the like. But my Google Account is already synced and seems to be in working order for the apps that need it. And when I click through on the above to try and log in, nothing happens.
Any thoughts as to what is causing it, and how to fix it? Been having this issue for about a week now (which induced me to try and upgrade...was not pleased with the experience, so I reverted to my most recent backup, and the problem is thus still there.
I'm not running sac's rom, but I heard there is a fix for that error in the rom thread. Do a search for google sign in error in the rom thread.

[Q] Best ROM for Privacy on Nexus 7

Hello,
I like my Nexus 7 but do not want any google-access. I'm looking for suggestions for a ROM that basically lets me use the Nexus as an offline device for the most part. I do, from time to time, want to be able to access some services via VPN. I've used Cyanogenmod but it seems it still requires quite a bit of tweaking to turn things off and updates seem to enable things - especially Google services. I really want Google out of my life. Are there any ROMs that start with the assumption that you want complete privacy? Thanks.

Disabling Google services or framework will cause many other issues.
Not sure you even can.
Not being sarcastic.... But to get Google out of your life, you might need to leave android completely. Which won't happen on a nexus.
And to answer your question at the end, no.
However, airplane mode will keep you completely offline. Simple. Without messing with anything.

Accelerometer issue

Hello guys , I accelerometer which tends to the right when the terminal is located horizontally :

In gaming the thing is pretty obvious . And from a terminal I paid € 400 these things I do not like at all.
I found a thread where we talk to do a hard reset and block the upgrade of Play Services . But I think it is a very stupid solution .
Are you aware of alternative solutions ? I also tried to calibrate the sensor with the menu * 808 # # but I always get an error (Device is busy ) .
OnePlus is aware of this bug ? You know if there will be a solution in the next update ? It worries me to see users with this problem by OxygenOS 2.0 and despite the various updates to the 2.1.1 has not yet been solved .
I'm pretty disappointed .
Hi, I'm having the same problem; about 8 degrees tilt to the right on horizontal and accelerometer test failed (device busy).
I think it may be hardware issue, since I have this problem on Oxygen 2.1.1 as well as Hydrogen rom.
OP, did you find any solution?
Also, anyone reading this thread can check your sensors and other stuff from service menu *#808# (GSensor) .
Edit:
It's an issue with Google Play Services....
Disable GPS then recalibrate from service menu, then re-enable GPS.
Solution found from oneplus forums.

Sunrise/Sunset complication doesn't work

I have two AW2.0 watches: the ZTE Quartz and Emporio Armani Connected. When I'm adding complications to a watchface, I can choose Clock > Sunrise and sunset. Once set, this complication will show a "no location" symbol with a couple "--" dashes.
Using the Quartz that has onboard GPS, I've tried having every location setting at maximum (watch GPS/wifi/celluar on, phone GPS/wifi/celluar on, location set to high accuracy). I've also tried using the Quartz independent from my phone, with the watch GPS/wifi/celluar on. I can be standing outdoors for 30 minutes with a clear view of the sky and this sunrise/sunset complication still won't work. Other watch features that access your location work fine, like Google Maps.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I'm using a Huawei Honor Note 8 phone.
Same issue - solution?
Hey, did you ever figure this one out? I happen to be experiencing the same problem.
Same issue here for the Fossil Gen5 Carlyle but I saw in a mobovi forum someone said putting the watch into Essential Mode (Time Only) then powering back into normal fixed the issue. Just tried that and it did work for me. They also stated that they thought the last update fixed the issue so perhaps the Gen 5 will get that soon..

hi!
thanks for the tip/link!
I tried it, but... - how did you manage to start/login to this app? The "older" version does not need any registration (via WeChat for example)...

So this version will allow us to register? I bought the 4G Alpha Chinese Global Edition too, but mine the app's I've tried so far it won't even get past the pairing screen, it just sits there starring blankly at the QR Code and Manual Pairing just gives me a black screen with a blue bluetooth image and pulsing blue circles, but it doesn't do anything else other then that.
Okay still nothing acquire code and zilch
I'm ticked off that I spent $195 on this and can't do crap with it
I'm literally at the setup screen and stuck
So I did discover pressing the toggle wheel 3 to 5 times took me in to the watch skipping past the screen, so is there a way I can set the time.
Or would I be better off returning it for the wifi edition.
Any known american cellular providers who will activate the esim?
