Unlocked phone is constantly rebooting and can't access recovery mode - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
I unlocked my p8 lite's ALE-l21 bootloader 1 or 2 years ago and everything was fine, but since this morning it's been rebooting constantly, just showing the huawei logo then rebooting.
I thought I'd access the recovery mode but I can't apparently, I can access the fastboot mode but can't do anything there. adb doesn't work either (I get the "no device found" message). Also probably important info I flashed TWRP as the recovery tool when I first rooted my phone. I also have a custom ROM.
Thanks a lot

Stuck in bootloader/twrp

Moto G4, just bought a week ago. I unlocked my bootloader with ease, installed twrp 3.0.2 easily and flashed two things- One being xcodes or something that worked fine. Tried to flash SuperSU and my device was in bootloop. Then i tried to redownload stock android, and I am now stuck in bootloader mode. It reads-
Error: Failed to load kernel!
Fastboot reason fall-through from normal boot mode
I have access to twrp, but rebooting in any way leads me back to this screen. Any help? My parents will probably kill me.
I am in a similar situation right now but I don't have a solution yet
my suggestions is flashing the stock rom with rsd lite (worked for me)

P8 Lite turns itself off while booting to TWRP/CWM recovery

LATE EDIT: solved, read bottom of this topic for solution
Hi, so I have a P8 Lite and after properly unlocking the bootloader, I flashed TWRP (versions/ports found on XDA for P8 lite).
After using fastboot fastboot flash recovery twrp.img properly, it outputs OK, indicating it successfully flashed.
Now, assuming all went fine, I tried booting into recovery with powerbutton and volume up, after a few seconds only it turned off, the whole device just shuts itself down.
I then noticed it'd go into Huawei eRecovery when you keep holding it, so I just briefly pressed both keys until it started up, immediately released, and it still failed to boot into recovery.
To make sure I made no mistakes with triggering the recovery boot, I used adb to perform ''adb reboot recovery'' and so it attempted to boot into it, resulting yet again in the same black screen shortly after the Huawei (powered by android) logo, where that black screen is actually the device shutting itself down.
So the conclusion I draw is that the recovery is broken after installing it, the question is how. I'm not a novice to this kind of stuff, as you might have noticed, but still I cannot think of what went wrong, as my bootloader is successfully unlocked through the EMUI method, and I made proper use of fastboot to flash recovery, after which it tells me it succeeded, using the proper recovery for this device.
To double check I also installed the CWM recovery released for the P8 Lite (https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8...overy-clockwork-mod-recovery-cm-12-1-t3342209), as TWRP's for it (multiple versions/releases..) failed thus far, and also with CWM the same happens.
I really want to proceed flashing recovery to then root the phone and install a custom ROM, so any help or ideas what the cause might be, will be appreciated, or anyone that encountered the same problem!
SOLVED (was too lazy to post on time, i fixed it shortly after posting this).
The problem was that I flashed a bad recovery, basically the ALE-L21 has different TWRP versions advertised in the P8 lite section, i happened to choose a not too good one, it may have even been one that didnt belong to my model (like P8 lite generation year), not sure as the section is co-shared between P8 lite model generations, this mistake is easily made.
If you have this issue, just keep trying additional (TWRP) recoveries, the subsequent 2 versions from different publishers that I tried were working fine and the issue stopped.

my Redmi 3S is bricked?

I unlocked the BL and flashed an International Developer MIUI two years ago, and it has been working fine.
I want to flash a stable ROM now. the miui website gives three approaches (system update, recovery update, fastboot update).
I first tried system update, but the system cannot proceed.
then for recovery update, volume up + power button enters Teamwin (TWRP), not the recovery interface shown in the official guide.
then fastboot update, unfortunately the MIFlash tool does not recognize the phone in fastboot mode.
so I went back to TWRP, clicked Install, and installed this ROM: http://bigota.d.miui.com/V9.2.1.0.MALCNEK/miui_HM3S_V9.2.1.0.MALCNEK_fe706c31c4_6.0.zip
which I saved to the phone storage earlier.
now the phone is in a bootloop , stuck at "mi" boot screen. somehow I can still enter fastboot mode, but I don't know what I can do to save it.
please help me , thanks
Trying to make guide for that
I just resently came out from hard bricked

Honor 8 Lite PRA-AL00 heavy brick, need help

I had EliteTWRP 3.2.1-0 and restored the official rom from twrp recovery but it was stuck when trying to first-time configure the phone(it wouldn't get past the wifi setup). So I went into twrp to try and format everything and try to flash a different ROM and I faced another problem. Internal storage couldn't be mounted. I wanted to fix that by flashing the twrp 3.1.1 because that worked for me before. I got in the fastboot mode but it said that the phone is locked. That was strange to me so I tried unlocking the bootloader with "fastboot oem unlock [my unlock code]". The prompt came on screen asking me if i wanted to unlock boot loader and factory reset and I said yes. Then my phone restarted and is stuck on "Your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted. ...mod=restore page... Your device is booting now...". From that point it's stuck on that screen and I can't get into the recovery or fastboot mode. I tried the dload method(holding volume up volume down and power button) but that did nothing.
Please help.

Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite 10 (BAH-W09) Bootloop

Hi there,
I got a problem with updating my M3 Lite: First I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP 3.2.0-0 and then lineage-16.0-20191112-UNOFFICIAL-bach.zip without Gapps. Booted into Lineage and everything went fine.
After that I installed via TWRP version 3.3.1-0 of TWRP and rebooted into TWRP. Then I reset the M3 and installed via Fastboot TWRP 3.3.1-3 and tried to reboot into TWRP but had no luck. Now I'm stuck with the screen saying "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted". Wether I try to boot with holding Volume Up or Volume Down, I always got back to that screen. Unfortunatly I can't even get into Fastboot mode.
Did I brick my M3 Lite or has somebody a clue how to fix that bootloop?
same problem here
Same here, would love to hear if anyone has any info on this!
Hi !
If you can't put your device in TWRP, I guess that there's is no way to recover your device. Unfortunately it happens also to me with two different Huawei devices ... I fixed my devices after I googled about unbrick Huawei tools, there's 2 or more tools which are able to fix your device, but unfortunately they are not free.
Bring them to Huawei's service center
