Hi, after root I noticed that the option to expand ram has been disabled. Do you experience the same issue? Do you know how to solve it?

Has this been fixed? Anyone experience anything different? Still present on 5.1.1 blobs on phones
hello
I am using the latest stock ROM as of this date.
I've read That android Lollipop versions, slow down a lot when encryption is enabled.
Does anyone notice any slowdown with encryption enabled on this device?
I am willing to enable full disk encryption on this device, but ONLY if it doesn't take a performance hit...
Any comments?
Thanks
Hi, any feedback about it?
I flashed an S8 custom ROM, now my meory says 64 GB! (but same amount free as if it was a 32 gb model)
how can I fix this?
I currently have lineage on it, still showing 64GB
edit
flashed latest official Nougat, it's sorted

It may be a ROM issue. Have you asked in the ROM's thread?
Ok my daughter has a J5 which I regret buying her as the 16gb Internal is just not enough. I've got numerous SDs but Samsung decided to remove support for adoptable storage.
Now my question is what options do we have to enable adoptable storage and have it work? I've tried numerous custom ROMs with numerous Kernels that are supposed to enable and neither work. I decided to flash LOS but it's not stable enough for her to daily due to the camera issues and NFC being needed.
She's currently on 7.0, Was the S7 patch fixed for Nougat? If not I'll flash stock 7.0 and TWRP and just use the Patch.zip to enable and use that.
I have the same problem.
Do you have any solution?

Flash a custom rom. Samsung firmware is crap and doesn't allow adoptable storage unless you can flash the adoptable storage enabler zip by @ashyx
But even this method is flawed on the j5 so going with a custom rom is the best option.
Also a custom rom will give you a small bit better performance without having all the Samsung bloat on it

Thanks for your answer.
Also that doesn't effect performance or stability or anything else except for storage ?
