Hi,
I've been experiencing bootloops with the Asus ZenFone 3 Ze520kl model, which means the Asus screen logo appears and then the phone immediately resets in infinite loop.
The only workaround I found is to use the phone plugged in.
What's wrong with my phone?

Take a backup and Factory reset your phone.
I already tried that, but didn't work.
The good thing is I was able to save all my data before trying a factory reset.
It must be an issue with the battery.

Hi guys,
I have an issue with my phone:
Yesterday, tried to restore factory settings, since the phone was quite slow.
A second or so after I confirmed the reset, the phone turned off and wouldn't start.
I took out the battery and it was swollen.
I bought a new battery today, inserted and stated the phone.
What happens now, is that the phone boots, Samsung logo appears, then the TWRP logo appears, from this point, the phone stuck at this logo screen,
and flashes every few seconds (I can't post a video here, so I can share the link in private, if anyone can take a look).
I tried to leave the phone for about 20mins without battery at all, removed SD cards, removed SIM cards, no use.
Trying to boot to recovery or download mode gives the same result.
Tried today with an original battery of a friend's Galaxy S4 , same result.
Does anyone have an idea what I can do?
Thanks in advance for you help

Sound to me your power button is stuck/faulty. Does it reboot also when in download mode? If so, then it's your power button. Wiggle it loose or replace it.

It never gets to download (or recovery) mode...
It keeps flashing at the logo of the TWRP
Trying to boot to download or recovery modes, gives the same results
I don't think it's the power button. Otherwise it would turn off if it is stuck or not turn on at all if it's faulty.
Still, I wouldn't exclude it.
The screen flashing might related to a GPU problem. I don't think it is a problem you can fix yourself.
My Google Nexus 4 which was working without issue suddenly began stopping at random times. After few boot ups OS didn't bootup where I had to factory reset wipe from recovery mode. But suddon stopping issue still persisted. Soon it came to a situation where factory reset could n't recover at which case I tried installing Synagenmode. I could not install Synagenmode for some reason. There after I flash factory Nexus 4 ROM again. Still the sudden stopping issue exist when phone is discoonected from charging cable. Phone works fine when connected with main power.
The battery is not empty though it stopped suddenly, I am saying this because I can boot it up again though it stops again before fully bootup. Is this a hardware failure or software faikure such as battery cache

When you say your phone is stopping, do you mean it turns itself off, or just freezes? When you said you flashed factory ROM, do you mean a factory reset, a zip or a factory image via fastboot?

Yes it turn itself off.
First I factory reset via recovery mode
Then I flash factory ROM via fastboot as mentioned in "[GUIDE] Nexus 4 - Factory Image Restore" of androidcentral dot com

Try using a Qi Wireless charger and see if it does the same thing. It could be that your battery has shot craps and while it has a charge, it is not producing enough mAh/voltage and the phone is turning off believing the battery to be dead. I used to have a similar with a Samsung handset which had a removable battery. I would be at 90%+ and it would just shut off. Every time, the battery was swollen and beginning to fail.
You can see how the system is reading the battery status from a logcat. It might give you some insight into the root cause.
Hi,
I was using my phone when it suddenly turned off and got stuck on a bootloop, every time the bootup stops a the white Google logo at the start. I accessed Fastboot and can't do anything beyond that, it doesn't launch recovery. I tried to flash it with the latest google images but to no avail, the process goes as usual but when the phone restarts it gets stuck gain.
What should I do? Is this the Nexus 6P's bootloop problem I've been reading about on some blogs?

Yes, BLOD and no recovery mode. It is a hardware issue. Nothing can be done from a software/flashing perspective. Hopefully you have a warranty of some type. Otherwise it's time for a new phone.
my p10 plus got got bricked and it is always going to eRecovery without going to home screen after update. my phone is BOOTLOADER LOCK, NOT ROOTED THOUGH. and i want to fix this . i need help . ps : i hope theres a method that could fix this without unlocking bootloader.

hi, do you dolve your problme? i guess i have the same problem XD
regards
My P10 plus started this exact problem today. Always stock, never rooted or boot unlocked.
I was playing a game and it rebooted. Started again and lasted a minute but then constant bootloop to eRecovery screen.
Did the erecovery image download and didn't do anything brought me back to the same screen
Tried to factory reset on the ecovery screen and then booted, but during setup it rebooted.
Went to fastboot screen (pwr+vol down while attached to usb) and rebooted after. I was able to go through setup.
After letting it for sit for only 2 minutes as I type this message, it randomly started rebooting on its own.....and now back to recovery screen.
FACKKKKKKK
UPDATE: Took my phone in to a cell repair shop after exhausting all my troubleshooting options.
They said they took the phone apart to disconnect the battery and do a full power drain. Then after reconnected they installed EMUI 9.1 again via USB and got the phone up and running.
Been working for me for the past 6 hours, but the phone just rebooted on me once, so i'm sure they're still an unsolved demon in it. but no idea what it is right now.... May be time to start phone shopping.
maybe just battery broken, install app accu battery or any other to check batery
I have been using my Zenfone 2 Laser (Z00L) for quite a while now. Recently, it just froze up and doesn't respond even when I press the power button for a long time. So I decided to just take out the battery to restart it. But now it only goes up to the Asus logo then restarts again.
I have already tried to completely wipe everything in TWRP and have also tried to flash a new ROM. Right now, the ROM I have installed is AospExtended ROM v6.7 and I was able to get into the home screen while the phone is connected to a charger, but immediately restarts and goes to the boot loop when I unplugged.
I hope you can give me some advice on what I should do.
Same thing happened to me. Dont know how to recover the device. If you find any fix kindly post that here.
