Hey!
In the company that I work an ex-collaborator left the Samsung Galaxy A20e he was using professionally. During the time he used it, he probably activated FRP, now we want to unlock the phone to give to another collaborator. I've tried to do factory reset at first when I didn't know about FRP.
Now I'm seeing some tutorials that says that we can remove the FRP lock, but I need USB debugging and I can't access the system to activate it.
Is there something I can do?
Same problem as here:
This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced on thos device.

I have a friend who bought a Galaxy Note 3 (Verizon) and when he got it he realized it was rooted with a custom ROM and he did not want that. He asked me if I could unroot his phone and I said yes. I successfully unrooted the phone and installed latest firmware and after it booted up I got the message "The device experienced an unexpected factory reset; Please sign in with your Samsung ID that you used to register this device". Problem is my friend does not know who owned the phone before him. I think it was an open box from Verizon (where he works... well Procom Wireless). Does anyone know of a way to overcome this?
Your problem is due to "Reactivation lock" option that was previously enabled in Settings. Of course, you don't have the e-mail or the password of the account that was used in the phone before the factory reset. You have two ways to bypass this. I am not responsible if these methods won't work or if they are used in other purposes .
The methods are taken from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2465863&page=3.
Method 1 by Giulianos306: "First of all I have to say that I've created this account just to share what I did with this problem. It took me, after doing dozens of hard reset and flashing firmwares, 10 minutes. Maybe, the seller never activated the phone (that's what happened to me) and this screen is appearing by mistake. So what you have to do if this is your case is to connect the headphones that came with the phone and press the button for 1-2 sec. Then the SVoice will apear and there you can use voice commands. So you just say "Start Settings" and it will open the setting where you have to activate the reactivation lock (maybe isn't necessary, but that way worked) but this time using your samsung account. Then you just have to do a factory reset (from the settings, not from the recovery) and your phone will be unlocked. It will restart and then you can set it up normally. Hope this works for you as it do for me."
Method 2 by max_ray: "Goto accessibility option which is available on the first screen where you select language..then goto Text to speech option..then from the settings goto Install voice data and try to download any language..It will ask you to enter samsung account details...Enter your own samsung account details..once the download is complete..go back to screen where it was showing abnormal factory reset adn then enter your samsung account..It will go through.."

lately I tried to flash stock room using lg flash tool and fastboot mode but after i press start to flash it says device not detected
whatever I do the lg k8 will not be detected in my pc (i tried several other pcs and all the usb drivers i could fiind)
any help ? I will donate few $ if anyone could help me
I guess what happened is that she factory reseted the phone and frp come up and ask for password of old account? If that is the case than you should search 'how to bypass frp on *device model*' frp should go away if bootloader is unlocked but I guess you can't do that now. However if this mentioned is the case let me know I'm pretty sure I saw couple of tutorials on youtube (can't look for them right now) or you can search it yourself.
Hi everyone!
So my daughters mother uses a POS Samsung J1-6 (Samsung J1 SM-J120W), that she refuses to upgrade. Recently, she forgot her password for the phone. I tried to do a factory reset, but now it gives the error:
"An unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default settiings. Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network to verify your identity."
Is there any way to reset the phone to stock without the password? Or is this phone heading for the recycle bin?
Thanks!

Hi, i have the same probleem, die you Find a solution? Here in the Netherlands they Told me the only way is going to A samsung store and they could fix it
Hi @Amsterdam90,
I had to get the factory unlock code from the service provider, (in my case, Bell Mobility).
I recently purchased a used A20 (SM-S205DL) the previous owner's child locked the device and forgot the pin. I was told it didnt have FRP activated so i mistakenly hard reset it without checking odin mode first. Now i have no way to set up the device or enable usb debugging. I have firmware and some basic knowledge of flashing via odin. Although i have only used it to unbrick a device roughly 5 years ago. How can i either remove FRP via odin mode or download mode without usb debugging turned on. I have no preference on how to gain access to the device. If frp cannot be removed could the device be completely wiped and made into a basic Linux device? I have no preference on what is done i only want to have some use out of it
Factory Reset Protection exists to prevent the use of stolen devices. Unfortunately, this can become rather inconvenient in other circumstances where for some reason the Google account the device was locked on isn't available.
While FRP unlock services exist, we here on XDA tend to err on the side of caution due to the potential for criminal activity.
Try flashing vbmeta.img (UNLOCK BOOTLOADER)
Try this:
This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced on thos device.

Hello everyone.
My A510F device was bricked many years ago and the shop "service" that time said to me that the processor is "defective" - no chance to restore the device. Therfore it was sleeping in the shelf. Now - with a little bit more knowledge - I tried to re-animate the device. And I realized that the processor neither is dead...
After plugging the device to power the error screen (https://www.blogtechtips.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/An-error.jpg) occured.
The SMART SWITCH software did not help because there is no backup of that device existing anymore.
So therefore I unbricked it with Hagards "Frp HiJacker". Now the device is starting normally again - but needing the former google account verification.
FRP-removing by Hagards software failed. As well failed with SamFW.com FRP tool.
And restarting after factory reset the device statement occured that the reset was "not authorized" - so FRP failed.
And the normal Google verifying way does not work as well because the former account does not exist anymore for long time, as well as not the phone number anymore is existing. Restoring the google account by google support failed also - "not possible anymore" because cancelling account is "too long ago".
So I still need to bypass the Google Account verifivation for this device. And I do not really like to pay for FRP removing services like 4uKey & Co. because needing it for one device only.
Therefore my question:
So is there any other possibility for FRP removing in device download mode by using ODIN software?
Is there any flashing file especially for FRP removing?
Device details:
Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 [A510F]
Model SM-A510FZKADBT
CRC code DBT
Android 7
Accu battery reloaded 100% (...of course...)
The device is NOT rooted and as well I sadly have no access to any "normal" Android setting possibilities at the device. Therefore adjusting "OEM Unlock" or "USB debugging" is not possible.

I know it - but did not try this. Because it is another tool needing payment (like 4uKey & Co.) - but not really worth for unlocking "only" one device ...
Is it possible to ENABLE USB DEBUGGING from any external way? Because I'm not able to come into internal settings menue ...
