ive got a passive Brodit, and a extusb splitter and want to wire in a charger. Can i use my sync cable, chop the usb plug and wire it into the 12v from my radio? Asuuming not to be honest, it must need a transformer to step it down to 5v? Anyone know where i can find a pinout diagram of the sync cable supplied with the Kaiser?

Anyone know what wires from the USB would I solder to make my own adapter?
I don't have a CC at the moment and can't order overseas. Which of the 4 wires would I solder to the audio plug, which I have?
Has anyone used these with AKG 240's?
thanks in advance!
kaiser don't have a mini usb connector
it have an extUSB which is a mini usb connector
together with analog sound pins on the other side
of the connector
you can buy extusb converters for a few coins
however one can't make an miniUSB headset at all
unless the headset contain an usb soundcard and the
device support usbHost which kaiser don't
just get a dirt cheap conveter
but if you must do it youself then here are the pinouts

I have a spare adaptor. can list via feeBay so you could purchase from your own country.
Would be cheap (just enough to cover costs)
Just a thought, if of any use to you pm me.
What is the difference between DC-U100 and DC-U300 USB cables?
I know that DC-U100 has a miniUSB and DC-U300 - HTC ExtUSB connector. In my box there was a DC-U100 USB cable and it was a problem with connecting the phone to the computer. Replacing the cable fixes the problem.
Does anyone knows what is the difference in these cables?
I have Hima with broken connector. Now i want replace them with usb mini connector.

I want to join pins 13*14*15 and 16-17-18GND with USB 1-3-2-4pins
But I still have one question... May I also connect three pins 20,21,22 to pin 13(+5v) if I want to recharge batteries directly from usb?
No need to connect all that pins: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10453499&postcount=71 and: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10467485&postcount=73
