How to fix Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped

Hi everyone, Just wanted to post this as I have found it to be useful for me.
I am sure some of you have seen this issue before or are experiencing it now. I have included a link to the youtube video.
what is the issue?
Recently after downloading the newest play store I started seeing an error message about unfortunately the process gapps has stopped working .
this was happening whenever i tried to add an account and when opening some of my apps including the browser and play store
.
it was annoying me but it would go away and the app would immediately open for me after so it was not that big of a problem.
I tried to solve the problem first by uninstalling updates to the play store in application manager
,
then by flashing roms and factory resetting
, however this did not help at all.

. finally last night at work my phone had three random reboots . my phone has never done that before
. I searched on google and found a very easy fix and once again my phone is like new
.
the fix.
settings/ application manager/scroll to left until you reach the all applications screen/ touch menu screen left of the home button/ reset app preferences.

Just wipe the data and cache, then flash rom and flash a new gapps package...there you go...:good:

Sure if you want to do a factory reset and are using a custom rom... I guess I didn't make it clear that this was for stock rom without having to wipe data. But to each his own whatever works

thanks a lot, it seems to work! I have tried other tips that I found on the internet and none of them work, but this one did the job!

[Q] Google Play Services stuck at boot

Hi, i installed a falty update of Google Play Services and it made my phone freeze. now when i try to reboot it, its stuck trying to boot. how can i delete the update ?? tried re-intalling my rom didnt help.. does the update get installed at another place ? please help.. thank you.

Hello everybody
Yesterday I was trying to install a patched version of the play store, so i just tryng installing it as an update an the only thing i got was "aplicacion not installed" so i decided to uninstall google play store using root and then just installing the patched market, i was still getting the not installed text so next y copied the app no system, gived permissons and everythin, app sudenly crashed
After this i decided to go back to stock GP just by replazing the modded app with the original one, still getting crash text, i intalled and coppied manualy the app, flashed it trough TWRecovery and nothing, app still crash
I dont want to delete anything or flash a brand new system
Does some one have any idea about what to do to make it work again?

problem

hie i rooted my device a couple of days back . and all was well till today my google play stooped working completely so i thot of removing and signing in google again now wehenver i try to log in google it take my password and then says google play service has crashed and stops . what options do i have can i just go ahead and do the factory reset frm setting and try ?

Clean install.. wipe cache. Data. Dalvik.
If its just google play I would uninstall and reinstall it

ive messed up alot now instead of removing the cahce and host files i mistakenly emoved the odex using lucky patcher and rest n now it seems to b stuck ont he registration screen for android with just a sec sign
idk what to do i just want to go bck nd fix it will what ever way possible
dwnlding the non rooted firmware and flashing it help or any other faster way
no fone right now feels annoying

Just flash a stock with odin ya.

Why wont app uninstall from LG Urbane !!!!!!

Im losing my mind now, This is the second time I have this issue and Im not making the 10000th factory reset again.
Wtf wont it uninstall from the phone. Im even using wear app manager.
Now the app duolingo using ram on my watch and I cant do anything about it
Please help. Do I really need rooting ???

I had a camera app get stuck on my Urbane. I don't remember exactly what I did to fix it, but it was something like this:
(wait about a minute between each step)
- Restart phone and watch
- Resync apps
- Re install the stuck app
- Resync apps
- Uninstall the stuck app
