UsCellular Tab S5e to No carrier? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Questions & Answers

I bought a Us Cellular Tab S5e and was wondering how to either remove the Boot Animation or just switch to the Global Samsung store version as I wont be using the LTE function. Would I have to root it first? or Is there a way to just disable boot animation

Remove AT&T Branding from G900A Galaxy S5? (Noob thread)

Hi,
I live in the UK and I'll be getting an AT&T G900A Galaxy S5 soon (gift from family member abroad) however I want to be able to use the Download Booster and naturally since I live in the UK I won't be using AT&T - so how would I go about completely blanking and removing ALL AT&T branding. AT&T boot screens, AT&T apps and restrictions, want it all removed.
Basically I want to firmware flash to stock S5 software, how do I do it?
Many thanks

Android Oreo Update

1. I unlocked my AT&T Galaxy S8 and switched my carrier from AT&T to MetroPCS. As soon As I did that MetroPCS is wanting me to install the Android Oero Update. Is there any way to hide the notification and keep it from prompting me from upgrading?
I am on the Snapdragon version of the S8 so Rooting is not possible.
2. If I do decide to update, Will this change the bootscreen from the AT&T logo to MetroPCS logo?
3. If I decide to update and I don't like Oreo, Can I go back to Nougat?
I believe there is a service you can stop that will keep the update notification from popping up but I don't know what it is. You should be able to Google around and find it.
I did this exact thing (original AT&T phone unlocked and put a MetroPCS SIM card in). Yes it changes the AT&T logo to MetroPCS switch is unfortunate when considering reselling your phone I think.
I doubt you will be able to go back to nougat once you upgrade to Oreo. Maybe if you root the phone which I stopped doing to my phones.
With newer firmwares it installs carrier files and bootscreens based on your installed sim. Install another sim you'll have a new bootscreen.
You can always just Odin on Unlocked firmware and not worry about any of it.

Is it possible to flash the T-Mobile S8 Active rom onto an AT&T S8 Active?

And if so, how would you go about doing so?

Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge G935V, can I convert to AT&T G935U

Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge G935V, can I convert to AT&T G935U my g935v has Android 8.0 and i wanna know if i can do it with this versión of android
Depending on which version of the firmware you have (there are multiple variation of same android versions).
You can find out which one you have by going to Settings -> system -> about phone. Mostly, you just need to pay attention to the last 4 characters (BRA1, CRI1, CRK2, etc.).
But there's no reason to really switch firmware since Verizon phones will support other GSM network (as long as the phone is paid off 100%).
The benefit to switching would be to get rid of Verizon bloatwares and annoying "this is not verizon sim card" warning whenever you restart your phone.

Tab S5e AT&T no LTE after flash US Unlock rom.

I live in Asia, I just buy a Unlocked ATT s5e form local saller.
First, its running AT&T stock rom android 9 code SM-T727A, LTE working fine with local sim card. But i dont like At&t rom because bloatware; locked some feature; cant OTA update.
Then, i flash it with US Unlock rom XAA like SM-T727U via Odin, Tab boot working but no LTE anymore (just H+ icon and HSPAP in information, if i switch to LTE only will lost connect).
Now i flash swap 3 version of rom ATT unlock T727U, US Unlock XAA, US Cellular T7274R, no one can get LTE back.
Ofcourse i cant find stock ATT rom on internet for flash back.
So any one have solution or stock ATT rom let share for me pls.
So after no good at community support for this tablet. I leave this comment for who come behind me.
I need to buy account for download ATT stock rom on internet, then flash it via Odin, LTE is back.
After that, just stay away from T7274R rom (or any CDMA Carrier rom) you will be fine.
I have SM- T727AUCU2CUD1 firmware ( full stock S5e AT&T rom Android 10 Bin2), contact me [email protected].
