Share your Battery Performance on the OPPO Find X5 Pro - OPPO Find X5 Pro General

While using the OPPO Find X5 Pro as my primary device for about two months now, I've been very impressed with the battery. I use my phone throughout the day for social media, videos, and work-related stuff like email and documents. I find myself charging my phone about once a day, but only need to charge it for about 10 minutes before I'm ready to go again. I thought I'd share some insight on my battery usage so far and see how other users are liking its performance.

OPPO Find X5 Pro Battery Specs:
5,000mAh capacity
80W wired charging
50W wireless charging
10W reverse wireless charging
My Battery Life based on my UsageAt night, I use the O Relax app to play thunderstorm sounds via a Bluetooth connection to my speakers. I usually have these sounds playing for about 7 hours, which consumes about 20-25% of my battery overnight. So if you plan on using your phone with overnight ambient sleep sounds, make sure you have about a 35% charge just in case.
As you can see from my usage stats, I charge my phone once a day, usually when it gets down to about 30% capacity. Based on my phone usage, I could stretch my battery life to about 1 day and 18 hours before reaching 0%. With Power saving mode and Super power saving mode, that can be extended even more to 2 days and 15 hours.
Battery Saving Tip: I use the high refresh rate setting for my phone, which is a super nice feature to have. However, if you want to get another 9 hours of usage from your phone, change the refresh rate to 60Hz. The high refresh rate setting is the most significant factor in your battery drain speed.
Charge Speed TestTo drain my battery for this test, I looped a 4K HDR video from YouTube at full brightness. It took 5hrs to drain the battery fully.
Now for the battery charge test. I cannot use the SuperVOOC charger that came with my phone since it is a European model. Instead, I will use a 90W charger from RAVPower. The OPPO Find X5 Pro has the ability to charge at a max of 80W.
0 - 50% : 40min
0 - 100% : 80min
If you've been able to use the included charger, please share your charging results in this thread. Also, what do you think about the overall battery experience with your OPPO Find X5 Pro?

Terrible Battery Life on Comparison to Others. Suggestions?.

WTF is going on with my battery? I have the S7 Flat snapdragon version (G930v) running the G930u software unrooted which removes all carrier bloat. Screen brightness is set to a little past half way. I have all setting provided by stock software optimized for maximum battery life other than running AOD. I am running a black Wallpaper/Lockscreen/ and an All black theme from the Theme Engine.. I Repeat, I have all stock firmware options Optimized for battery. Every single one. Wth hell is going on here. My battery time is looking Rediculous in comparison. Someone help me out here.

I feel asleep around 3am I guess with 89% and woke up just now close to 11. Heres battery over that 8hr period. 5% during that time. Standby drain is not bad it seems. But only 10hrs on 100% is crazy low compared to what some of you guys are getting.
End of Trial:
What can I do to get this increased.?
4.5 Hr of SOT is very Good. I am on the U firmware also and get 3 SOT. When you make comparisons, compare to SD Soc not the Samsung Exnos. You can download Gsam Battery and give it more permissions thru ADB and monitor. I noticed my proximity sensor (2) are giving high wakelocks.
The SD vs Exnos makes that much of a difference? I'm seeing people get 5.5-6.5screen on time in the main s7 thread. Granted not many relay the information as to weather they have SD/Exnoys or Flat/Edge.
4.5 hours when compared to 6 average over there, eh to me that's on the low end. I'd be losing my mind if I was only getting 3SoT.
I miss removable battery functionality.
Do you guys leave your screens on 24/7 or something? I use my phone quite a bit, but get 24 hours to a charge.
Is this ok?
At this brightness level plus I have turned off buttons backlight.
Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I get around 4 hours sot when I get home, here is my day with my phone.
730am start streaming audio books through Bluetooth facebook sms email.
4pm stop streaming books 75% battery.
5pm games facebook email sms.
10pm bed time, end the day with 330 to 4 hours sot and 15%battery remaining.

Battery Life of the S7 Edge?

My S7 Edge Battery life is very strange , I use power saving mode (Mid) with Res set on FHD, and I can say, I maybe last 8 hours or so ? Maybe 4 hours screen on time. If I use the normal mode, the battery drains like hell. Yet, when I use max power saving , I can go hours without 1% dropping off my battery. Is this how the S7 Edges are or is my battery at fault somehow?
Note this was before Oreo and still is the same after.

My battery lasts 17 hours with 4 to 5 hours sot, depends as some days I hardly use my phone as much as other days
You can check your battery cycles and battery health percentage via the app "Phone info - Samsung" in the play store.
I ended up replacing the battery for that extra 5-10%+ from a new battery. Phone lasts a day or two depending on how much I use it, I'm not a heavy user but I do have Wi-Fi, 4G, go on reddit / browse etc). I charge every morning and night so pretty much only get to as low as 60% every day.
Is this original or fake guys

Light use endurance

Once in a while, when your significant other yells at you, you might use your phone a bit less. Rate this thread to express how the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC's battery performs under light use. A higher rating indicates that the device goes a long time when you're using the phone sparingly: no gaming or video/audio streaming, light web browsing, some calling and texts, etc.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
I could get 8 hours of SoT maximum, I expected better thn this.
Used around 50% charge and got 9.5 hours SoT.
60hz, <20% brightness, removed bloatware and disabled apps I don't use, battery saver mode on, heavy web browsing with wifi on most of the time, occasional youtube usage.
I charge about once every 4 days with light use. Though have in mind i use the 25-90% battery saving cycle so if i used 0-100 i would probably get at least another day out of it.
I'm on Nitrogen A11, changed refresh to 60 HZ. Brightness is automatic, i dont bother with setting it manually to low.
It's just a week I own this phone. I get SoT 4-5 hour max and the my battery drops to 20%. Charging every day, some days twice. I've already performed a hard reset after the update to Android 11 (RJGEUXM). Should I consider it a faulty device?

I'm considering buying this phone but what worries me is the battery endurance rating.
I think that there is nothing wrong with your graph, it's just that a modern phone like this one needs a 6000 mAh battery.
My Lenovo P2 has a 5000 mAh battery and it can run for two full days under heavy use (often GPS and maps) I also always leave the phone turned ON during the night.
I suggest you play with the phone's settings, reduce the frame rate, delete useless apps, reduce the screen brightness and so on.

Charging speed

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

Hi guys,
I have to say that I am impressed with the charging abilities of this phone. I've done this test on stock rom and pixel experience and I got similar results, but with the phone being rooted I now have access to see more information. The app I used to monitor the charging was Franco Kernel Manager, one of the very few paid apps I recommend as it can show with accuracy both the current and the voltage. I started this test when the battery was 5% all the way up to 100%. I need to mention that I was interested in the true performance of the charger in a controlled environment and as we all know a high temperature of the battery throttles the charger. I noticed that at the highest speeds, anything over 35° will make it throttle so I used an ice pack for portable fridges to keep the temperature between 24° and 29°. I've heard some saying that this is no good for the phone but I've done this in the past 5 years hundreds of times on more than 10 different phones and I've never shorted one. Back to charging speeds, you will notice in the last screenshot that when temperature is good the turbocharge will last up to 70% when the wattage shows over 40w. I know that technically the brick is rated at 33w max, I'm wondering if it has the ability to draw more from the socket, put 33w in the battery and the rest will go towards the actual usage of the phone. Then the wattage will slowly drop up to 95% then dramatically drop up to 100%. This is because the voltage stayed consistently at 9v between 5 and 95% then dropped to 5v between 95 and 100%. Another mention is that I compared the readings of the Franco Kernel and Ampere and they were identical, the only reason I couldn't tell the Wattage with Ampere is because Ampere can't monitor the voltage so it made the app redundant. That's it, I hope you found this useful.

How the OPPO Find X5 Pro Has Epic Battery Life

OPPO is improving their battery life and performance in a big way, with the Find X5 Pro. The SuperVOOC charging technology lets you charge your phone faster than ever, while maintaining a healthy battery. The large dual-cell 5,000mAh battery offers 2.5 additional hours of use, in comparison to the Find X3 Pro.
A new feature called Battery Health Engine will help the OPPO Find 5X Pro achieve a longer overall lifespan. Enjoy 1,600 charging cycles of the Find X5 Pro, which result in over double the lifespan! After 1,600 cycles, your phone will still maintain an impressive 80% capacity. You can now keep your phone and continue to use it for a longer amount of time, preventing landfill waste.
Wireless charging is also available at a very impressive 50W. While SuperVOOC allows you to charge your phone at unprecedented speeds, it also helps retain the life of the 5,000mAh battery that powers the Find X5 Pro.
SuperVOOC flash-charging technology will charge the Find X5 Pro from nearly 0% to 50% in only 12 minutes. 47 minutes of charging ill give you a 100% charge. With these new charging speeds, you’ll have less battery anxiety, knowing a full charge is always available in new record time.
OPPO Find X5 Pro Battery Specs:

Wireless charging is taken to a whole new level in the OPPO Find X5 Pro with AirVOOC. When you use a wireless charger with your device, you can get up to 50W charging speeds. This is even faster than many phones are capable of charging on a wired connection. Reverse wireless charging is a feature that lets you use your Find X5 Pro as a source to charge other devices. For this feature, you can charge another device at 10W, by placing it on the back of your phone.
Once we get our hands on an actual unit, we will be able to do real-life tests to see how quickly the battery can charge from 0-100% in both wired and wireless charging situations. You can share your own experience with OPPO’s SuperVOOC charging in this thread.
Thank you to OPPO for supporting this thread.
