Hello all,
I wanted to extend the life of my device and rescuing from becoming electrical waste.
But at the End, it sadly failed.
I have tried it mainly with these instructions:
Download and Install Lineage OS 19 for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus (Android 12)
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus (dreamlte/dream2lte) launched in March 2017. The handset came with Android 7.0 Nougat. In this tutorial, we will guide you

After hours of trying and research, I had what at first appeared to be a functional LineageOS with NikGapps.
Then I realized that I was not connected to my provider, T-Mobile, but only in my little German village, in the next bigger City I received 4G.
After this, I tried to go back to the StockROM(DTM, DBT and DCO):
Galaxy Firmware - Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950F (DTM) | G950FXXUCDUD1
This Firmware flash for Samsung Galaxy S8 with the Phone Model Number SM-G950F for region 🇩🇪 Germany with CSC code DTM and Pie(Android 9) OS.
galaxyfirmware.com
But with all of my test, the same result = provider only in the next bigger City.
I don't have an EFS backup, because I found this information too late, but I have an IMEI.
Are there more necessary Information in the EFS Backup, could this be the reason?
And by the way, is there a technical reason why there are almost no official Custom ROMs for the Galaxy S8?
Greetings from the radio hole Germany

Hi
My device (Galaxy J5 2016) has recieved the update to Nougat 7.1.1 over an year ago, but I can't appear to be able to check for OTA updates- so I've attempted to look up the firmware online.
Apparently, the FN model is not officialy supported by Samsung for region ILO, so I can't find it's updated firmware anywhere and I oddly enough also can't find the firmware I currently have on this device, so I can't do anything (Also attempted Samsung support.. they can't help me.)
The device is currently on Marshmellow 6.0.1
the CSC is J510FOJK1APE3
AP: J510FNXXU2APK6
CP: J510FNXXU2APK6 (the same as AP)
Model: SM-J510FN
I want to stay using official firmware, avoid tripping KNOX and safely install this update without having to do a factory reset as I'd expect by upgrading a device to a correct firmware. What can I do?

There doesn't seem to be Firmware anywhere for the J510FN for Israel. There are plenty firmwares for J510F for Israel but not FN that I can see anywhere just as you said in the post.

Am I able to somehow modify the CSC in the firmware to match mine, so I won't have to factory reset / wipe and install it just as it's supposed to be officialy? I find it rather odd I do have a firmware with a CSC that isn't even supported for my device and yet KNOX is untripped and the firmware status is official.
Anybody know where I can find the firmware for
US Unlocked Galaxy S8 (Model on box: SMG950U1ZKAX)

I found a couple of versions on Android Nougat on Updato, but I get the fused 6 > binary 1 error on phone (AUTH error on Odin, yes, I'm using the Samsung drivers), and after a little research, it appears that It needs to be in the version my phone was before, so I believe I need something with Android 9.
Soo my J5 is bootlooping after flashing stock rom via Odin (Binary 6) and it wont boot anymore. If i remember correcly the imei also was not showing up in roms and sims whould not work. Can my phone be saved?. Cannot flash a custom recovery because apparently its blocked or something like that.

Hello I installed android 9.0 crdroid on my s8 SM G950f but when I tried to install the official firmware of it 8.0 I kept getting that error and the phone doesn't have any system so I can't boot.
On the downloading screen of the phone I get this error : SW REV. CHECK FAIL (BootLoader) Device 12. Binary 3
I understood that downgrading to an official firmware isn't possible.
Maybe you can downgrade cdroid to android 8 and then go back to official Android 8 firmware. This was suggested with the hades rom somewhere in their thread if I remember correctly.
