Just wondering if anybody else has gone for one of these. I grabbed one off of amazon well pre ordered one which has now shipped but because I am over in NZ may take a little while to get over here. Its this one here.

Was looking at that one. Of all the cases I've seen in that price range,I like that one the most.

I pre-ordered mine and got it Friday. It's a really nice, well made case. I don't know that I will ever use the tablet in portrait mode while its attached to it like they show, but the fact that the tablet is removable from the case make its nice. Seems like the zipper is a little tight when trying to close it, but there's a lot of room for error as to where you can place the tablet inside the main case. The tilt stand is top notch, I feel very comfortable leaving the case open on a table with the screen exposed, and the curve cut into the stand itself makes it easy to rest the case on your leg and use the tablet.
It is a very well made case. Very solid and high quality.
This looks promising. Just ordered a tpu case and would like this as another option.
Thinking of ordering the magenta color one made like the Acer case when its available.I have too cases for my notebook and are great
Hey, found the same case cheaper at ebay. I think the seller has the magenta color too: http://cgi.ebay.ph/Black-Leather-Ca...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item2eb66f6e50

Hi! Where did you order yours? Amazon has it listed but it's not yet available until the 18th.

Found this one, im ordering it. Looks like it comes with a pen. Might just be what ive been looking for.
i pre-ordered it from Amazon. if you want it I would order now while it is half price.
Hi I bought the executive case I like the good quality and the part you can take out is good as the complete case is quite heavy. Which is a bummer but there are no real alternatives when you want to have it combined in a portfolio

I got this case about a week ago and so far it has been great. My only grip is the velcro on the back of the case (rough side is in the back ). It's not very comfortable to hold. Would have been nice if it was reversed.
also try this one if you like..i got for 10 euro

in canada and amazon wont ship here, but i found one here that will http://www.overstock.com/Electronic...0-Executive-Leather-Case/6070886/product.html but before i pull the trigger ive got a couple questions, does the tablet have a closure once its into the internal / removable compartment? IE button, velcro or magnet? or will it just fall out if held upside down wrong? And does the internal compartment have any room in it for the tablet to move inside, even just a little? the reason i ask, is i would like to use a TPU plastic shell around the tablet as an additional layer of protection. And i hope there is enough room for it all to fit, it adds roughly 1 to 2mm of thickness for a total of 3 to 4mm of length if both edges are taken into account. You guys think it would fit?
Edit - Heres what i need to fit inside http://cgi.ebay.com/Clear-Smoke-TPU...ccessories&hash=item3cb9bbee06#ht_4446wt_1396

The back of the internal case has two 3" diameter circles to attach it to the external case. (See first attachement)

It's really hard to say. I don't think the TPU case would fit. The inside case does not have much wiggle room. (Check the other two images)

Instant gratification won out and I ended up pulling the trigger. I will report back on how the tpu fits inside this once the roocase arrives.
And any modifications required to make it happen, if any. At the risk of sounding like an idiot, if it don't fit I'm gonna make it fit.
rooCASE
While I ended up going for a different style of leather case, it looks like RooCase is making the better ones for the a500.
Very good materials and design, as I've stated elsewhere.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of their cases.
So has anyone tried the acer sleeve from newegg? I tend prefer a regular sleeve to the folio style ones but there don't seem to be too many options with built in stands. my only concern with this one is that it looks like it only supports a fairly upright viewing angle.

Looks interesting for sure!
I thought it useful to create this. I ordered three slim cases and will post them as soon as they arrive. Looking forward to seeing what other people ordered as slim cases...
I will probably get a Pitaka case.
Using one on my iPhone and it’s very slim and grippy.

I'd order anything that is clear case to show off $1100 phone instead of hiding it behind ugly case that hides it beauty.

I ordered two Ringke clear cases.. I received the air seems very slim just minimal.. Post up some pics once I get the phone...

Ringke Fusion. I like the cases with the hard plastic back. They are usually a little more clear than the full TPU case and I really want to show off this Aura Glow color.
I've already ordered the Pitaka case. I love it on my S10+, almost as close to going naked as a skin.

I'm sure there are videos but I am at work, with a case that small and rigid do you really get much fall protection?

Basically none, but I don't want it for that. I just want it so when I set the phone down I'm not worried about the camera getting scratched. The case is just thick enough to make the camera sit flush.
Also the case has built-in metal plates to work with magnetic car mounts and it still allows wireless charging to work.

I have the air and fusion as well. Using the air right now because it's a little slimmer than the fusion and the fit is pretty solid. My blue still shows through nicely but it does makes the color less bold if that makes sense. So far I like the fit and look of it though. Doesn't add much bulk to the device.

Oh yes! I want one of those very badly indeed!
Spigen makes a thin fit case for the note 10+ also
I've got the Samsung leather case and really like the look and feel of it, but I don't think it offers quite enough protection.
I'm looking for something in leather that is a bit thicker and also also covers the bottom of the phone or maybe a slightly thicker case that is leather-backed.
Any ideas? Thanks all!
I've got the following case arriving today, will report later.

I have a davis case one that is a little too thick for me. Pm me if interested it is brand new
Got the FYY case. Very nice build quality. It's a bit thick and heavy, and will be heavier by the time I load a couple cards and some cash in it. I'm a bit surprised the screen doesn't shut off when the cover is closed. Definitely a keeper, but probably not something I'll use daily.
Thanks all, but I'm not looking for a wallet case or flip cover to cover the front - just protection for sides and back.

No worries let me know what you find! I could use another non wallet one especially leather as well
Ali express has many but not sure about the quality
I bought this case, though it's not real leather I have throughly enjoyed it so far. Seems to protect the phone well and offers protection on all sides. View attachment 4821049

Hi,
As long time user of the Tab S2 models and their covers I'm in the market for a Tab S5e. However, the original cover costs 20% of the prize of the top spec tablet, which is to rich for my budget. (as I'd rather have a top spec with cheaper cover, then an entry level spec with official cover)
What are your experiences with the after-market covers and any advice on which type to pick (looking at usability and protection in case of a drop)
I found this look-alike of the Samsung cover: (ebay link) and this as an alternative aproach where the cover is universal and the PU fitting is model specific. (ebay link)
The tablet will mostly be used for gaming/reading while in hand.

This is the one I use. Only $10 on eBay. There are probably more heavy duty models, but I hate buying a modern light weight tablet and then putting it in a bulky case.
I am using the official Samsung Keyboard Cover with my SGT5e, which is ok. The typing experience on it is pretty good. But sometimes the connection to the pogo pins seem to be quite temperamental as you have to have them placed just right onto the connectors.

Thanks, this is the model I went for. (EU based supplier was more useful for me)
With some luck the tablet arrives this week just before the cover.

I have this one too and it works really well. It doesn't add a lot of weight or bulk.

Yeah. I've had that problem too. You have to make sure it's seats properly. Once seated it works great.
