Wifi not working after reset to stock rom - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I just flashed my OP2 using fastboot to install my stock rom and after do several factory resets/wipes I cannot find the way to get the wifi back to work. I would really appreciate if anyone could suggest a solution.

I have exactly the same problem, and haven't found any solution yet.

You may wanna try reflashing whatever ROM it is you are using
If you are on a stock rom you should reflash the rom as suggested earlier. Use the matching stock recovery to flash.
If you are on a custom rom you should reflash the stock ROM that the custom rom is based on from the stock recovery that matches that ROM and then install StreakMod Recovery and reflash the custom ROM.
Maybe a similar problem -
i sometimes loose ability to connect to GPRS.
My solution - choose network in settings manually when this happens.

[Q] GPS fix

So I have a question about the GPS on the G2. I installed cyanogenmod immediately after opening my G2. I did not realize you needed to get a GPS lock with the stock ROM first, so my GPS has not worked since I've had the phone. From what I can find the only fix I see is to roll back to stock, get a lock, and then restore my current ROM.
I currently have the latest CM11 nightly and the latest clockwork mod recovery. I don't mind backing up my current install, flashing another ROM, getting a GPS lock and then restoring, but I can't seem to find an easy way to do this. I don't see a stock ROM that I can just flash in recovery, which i'd really like to do if possible since I'm not going to keep the stock ROM for more than a couple of minutes. Some have recommended cleanrom 1.0, which I tried but after wiping data and cache only resulted in a black screen and wouldn't actually boot.
So does anyone know if there is an easy fix for the GPS that I haven't found when you have never had a lock on a stock ROM, and if not, is there a simple ROM I could flash to get this fixed up quick? Thanks for any help

I never heard of something like this. Can you please show me where you found this info? (for me this looks like a busted GPS, or Cyanogenmod GPS problem, have your checked their thread for help and info?)
Sorry that I won't help you much. But I am really interested in that part that you need to get a lock first with a stock rom.
Btw for ppl to help you with ROM's you could also share your exact device variant.
Also not sure what you mean by cleanrom being stock? Everything that is other as the KDZ files or OTA from LG are not stock. There are guides how to go to stock. But flashing something in recovery classifies as going custom. Are you sure that would fix your GPS problem?

[Q] No GPS lock on cm11

Hey all,
I got my phone and immediately flashed to gr33nd3vil's cm11 rom using TWRP and ioroot. The biggest problem I'm experiencing is that I'm getting absolutely no GPS lock. I downloaded GPS test and it says 0 satellites in view and 0 in use. I tried copying some config settings from other gps.confs I saw online to no avail, as well as clearing/updating AGPS inside of GPS test. I also tried both high accuracy and device only modes.
Does anyone have any recommendations for how to go about fixing it? And if the best move is to flash back to stock, acquire a GPS lock, and then flash back to cm11, can anyone point me to the best method for flashing stock if I didn't back it up before flashing cm11?
Thanks!

Have you tried installing the GPS config files?
I think this will help but try download an program that will install the config files. For example I downloaded and app called Pimp my ROM and I can download the GPS files from there and it installs them for me. Do that and reboot and see if it makes GPS work.

I too had the same problem.. What i did was to copy the gps.conf file from stock rom and replaced it with what i had in ma phone with cm. This will not help much. But now i am able to get a gps lock, even though the no. of satellites locked are less compared to that detected by stock.
If you revert back to stock and flash cm, it wont help u. The files of stock will be over written by that of cm.

Update:
I tried using stock gps.conf, to no avail.
I tried flashing a different rom, and still got 0/0.
Flashed back to stock, and now have 0/26.
Think I'm going to return the phone and try to get a new one?

Did you flash a stock version .zip or the actual flashing through the LG tools? If you just flashed a .zip of stock i would just go ahead and flash with LG tools because that program wipes EVERYthing including all the phone memory we can't access.
I flashed with the official LG tool. I took the OTA to 12b and I can get a GPS lock. Maybe if I flash now it will work?

Samsung J5 2016 (J510FN) WiFi not turning on.

Hello.
I've recently flashed a ROM through TWRP on my smartphone. Since the ROM was buggy, I tried to flash the stock firmware, but I didn't know which firmware was my old firmware before I flashed the ROM. So I just installed AP_J510FXXU2AQA3_CL10498928_QB12376838_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5, and it's working like a normal new phone before. But one problem, WiFi is not turning on. I've also encountered this problem when I was using a ROM. WiFi won't turn on. When I slide it on, it automatically slides off back. I already tried the WiFi fix trough TWRP but it also didn't work.
Please help me.

Bootloop and radio issues

Hey there,
Ever since flashing a new rom I've been experiencing a few issues. First, my phone refuses to boot to system, I've had to go through the bootloader to get it started every time.
Second it would appear that my radio is off as the phone won't connect to the network and thinks its in aeroplane mode. I haven't been able to get it working yet.
The Rom I flashed was the nougat update. , I've tried several others since as well as restoring through twrp. No dice, but I'm currently on lineage 15,1
I've yet to find a solution to either of these issues in a week of searching so I'm looking for any sort of guidance.
Thanks in advance

You should return to a pure stock configuration (including recovery) and start over, preferably using RDS Lite. It won't be easy as there are no giudes written explicitly for the G4P. You will have to derive the procedure by reviewing other threads.
A less comprehensive approach is detailed in the following thread but it may not solve your radio issue.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4-play/how-to/guide-return-to-stock-firmware-recovery-t3551797
As for not booting to system that's likely due to a procedural error when twrp was first flashed. Check the TWRP threads for corrective action.
