Zuk Z1 Soft Brick

Dear XDA friends,
i always hoped not to be one of those guys, who f****d up their phones to the point of no return. I really screwed up this time. Well, here I'am writing you about my screw up.
I unlocked, rooted, flashed and repaired all kinds of android phones in the past years, never without problems, but I could always fix it somehow. Not so much this time.
Now I'm stuck at Bootscreen with the Zuk logo. I even have problems pinging the phone via ADB.
Sorry for my noobish question guys. Any help would be much appreciated.

I got this translated from a chinese website:
For fastboot mode:
The phone turned off; keep the connection turned off the data cable to the computer, press: [volume down key] [Power Key] waiting to enter the fastboot mode.
For recovery:
Turn off the device
Press and hold Power key
When vibrates Volume UP key + Volume Down key about 10 seconds
Release all key when Android logo appear then you will see Android System Recovery
Use Volume key to select Menu
Use Power key to Confirm
Can you enter any of these 2 modes?

hi xda, i am facing thesame problem with my lenovo zuk z1 phone. its on a bootloop. i can enter the recovery by pressing both up and down vol. keys, i have wiped data/factory reset and wiped cache partition and rebooted but it doesnt fix.. I tried to reboot to bootloader but is stuck on fastboot mode screen. ive tried to search a solution but none have helped. The connection between phone via usb to computer only lasts like 2 secs. during boot then it disconnects again beacuse of the bootloop. Can anyone pls. help.

The bootloop is just showing the ''ZUK logo'' in the middle of screen and "'powered by Android logo'' below,and the phone vibrates everytime it flashes these logos. I tried QFIL but it can only detects the unit on the first boot or first flash that is 2 secs. only from the time i press the power button, and then it disconnects and not detect the unit again. Does anyone know where can i find the scatter file , MTK ROM for zuk z1, i would like to try the SP flasher tool. Or if anyone have any idea how to solve this issue on lenovo zuk z1,pls. help.tnx

Can y get to fastboot ?

im facing the same problem after i had the stupid idea to lock the bootloader again, before that i flashed the phone successfully with the cm mod recovery and cm 13.
Has anyone found a solution to this ? or do i have to send it back ?
What i did exactly :
I locked the bootloader again and just to test it i tried flashing the recovery again , ofcourse it didn't work which was what i wanted.
Afterwards i rebootet the bootloader with sudo fastboot -i 0x2b4c reboot
now im stuck in a bootloop that i cant even stop , in other words i cant turn my phone off nor can i access the recovery or fastboot
Im feeling so stupid that i locked it again .... i will try to get into recovery after my phone ran out of battery but so far it looks quite bad...does anyone know if i will get a replacement even though it was my fault ? ( i don't need to say that it was my fault ..and the bootloader is now locked again )

pressing Vol + & Vol - the connecting the USB cable entered bootloader mode. YEAH!!!!

Need some help
And after that what to do I can get it to recovery and the fastboot mod but after that what to do my phone like this for a month now

Any solution?!

I am facing same issue too from 2 days. I didnt even try to flash custom roms or play with boot loader or recovery or anything. All of a sudden my phone entered boot loop. After two three bootloops phone is entering "12 apps optimized of 230 apps" mode, completing optimizing all apps and then failing to start apps, entering boot loop again.
Effort made so far to fix -
1) Went to recovery and cleared cache - didnt work
2) Went to recovery and did factory reset - factory reset did happen but boot loop didnt stop, I realized that factory reset happened because now its saying optimizing 120 apps instead of my 230 apps during the bootloop.
3) Went to recovery, Entered fast boot mode but not able to connect to PC. Fastboot devices is not showing anything. I made sure proper driver is installed after researching on XDA.
4) Went to recovery, Tried "Install update". Didnt install anything but browsed through folder structure and realized my data is intact
It will be great if someone can help me atleast recover my data before I handover phone to service center for fixing boot loop issue.

The link is not accessible now. Can you let me know what you have done. My phone is in a boot loop now and showing only Logo and 'powered by Android' message. It keeps turning on and off again and again.

Guys when u are in fast boot mode .. pls install Twrp ... After insatlling that press power button abd vibration comes hold volum doen+volume up button at the same time ..
Then u will be getting recovery Twrp mode .. then connect it to pc and u will see internal srorage in pc...now u have to copy any rom to the phone and install it via Twrp ... Thats all

Why this is happening ?
Due to Dirty Flash from Zui or from COS/CMOD but suddenly Bootloader gets locked
May be Due to Some Custom Rom which only works with Old Bootloader ( And you are on latest 2.5 Zui QPST Flash)
Reasons are many. I also did same mistake. I flashed ZUI 2.5 using QPST then unlock bootloader using official site installed twrp after wiping cache system and data , Installed Lineage 0S JAN Build then without rebooting installed Lineage Nightly build (Latest) with Gapps After rebooting Phone goes into Restart endless loop on ZUK Logo. Blink and Vibrate .. After 1hr I figured it out but its 5am So slept.
HOW TO FIX ENDLESS REBOOT ON ZUK Logo ?
-> Identity vibrate patterns (Press Power Key I count 6- 7 Vibration pattern ) After long Vibrate immediately remove finger from power key.
->Once its Done (Phone completely off)

-Voila It will start flashing your phone again and Hence Your phone is now Revive..
-Once Revive You can use it to again flash custom Rom or stick to stock Rom if you want.
Keep Flashing !!!
Patience is Key here. And Don't lose hope.

HELP! S8 won't boot after updating TWRP

I updated TWRP to 3.1.1.2 inside TWRP. The issue I encounter now is that my S8 stucks on the very first booting screen. You know the very first screen where it stated "Samsung Galaxy S8" and down below "powered by android".
I can't do anything. It's just like the phone has frozen at that state. Nothing works anymore. Even If I try to turn it off by pressing Volume down + Bixby + power button, it just restart and get stucks at the boot screen again and again. There's NO boot loop.
I'm on europe version of the Galaxy S8
stock rom and rooted (Magisk)
Got TWRP installed but after updating TWRP the phone freeze at the very first booting screen.
Any help would be appreciated!

First of all - make sure you have the correct TWRP for your device. I know for myself that by searching google I got the S8+ twrp at first and flashed it by mistake without noticing.
Then try this-
Connect your device to a power socket (pc or wall, doesn't matter)
When you are on the very first screen, turn off the device by pressing Power + Volume down. Your device will shut down and you will see the charging animation.
Once you see it, disconnect the device from the USB and try one of the following:
Power + Volume up + Bixby for recovery mode
or
Power +Volume down + Bixby for download mode
I think the download mode will work, then just flash a stock rom or the correct recovery and try again

I failed right at the second step. Once I connect my S8 to power socket and tried to turn of the device by pressing Volume down + Power, the device turnt off for about 2 seconds and then reboot again to the very first screen. Even if my S8 is on power socket, I do not see the charging animation. So that is why I cannot continue with step 3.
Any Ideas buddy?

I got it enter the download mode
I downloaded the TWRP img from here https://eu.dl.twrp.me/dreamlte/

After enter the download mode, I flash TWRP via odin. It passed via Odin but my S8 doesn't enter TWRP but instead stuck at the very first boot screen.

Root attempt Galaxy S8+ Touch screen unresponsive at TWRP

Hi, I followed this guide to root my S8+ https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/guide-how-to-install-twrp-root-galaxy-t3752480
Let's just say that I used the TWRP for the S8 instead of the S8+ and now I'm stuck at "swipe to allow modification", is there a way to unbrick the phone and maybe flash it back to stock?
I saw some threads that say to wait for the battery to die (I'm at 80% so it seems I gotta wait a long time) but after that what do I do? Do I try again to start it in download mode again and maybe this time use the correct TWRP or is there another option?

Edit 1: Battery lost 1% in an hour, this is gonna take a while
Edit 2: The power button + volume down button method doesn't work because the phone keeps rebooting the TWRP interface
Solved: Somehow repeating the action power button + volume down + Bixby button made my phone boot into download mode and now I've flashed the correct version of TWRP and touchscreen is responsive.

If you were to explain this to a child?

Can you boot back into phone normally ( press power button + volume down button until phone restart then release.)
If you can check in developer section to make sure OEM is unlocked and USB debugging on
Restart into download and reflash correct twrp for s8+ ( U can still use the link in your op if you like )

I'm sorry but the phone keeps rebooting the TWRP Interface even though I used the power button + volume down button method. I'm afraid I gotta wait for the battery to die. It's at 51% now

So you can you reboot and get into download mode at all. If so try and flash right twrp.

Please help, I think i bricked my phone

I just tried flashing my Phone and now i think its bricked, ill explain
So I used this website https://www.naldotech.com/install-twrp-7-0-nougat-samsung-galaxy-s6-s6-edge/ to try and flash my galaxy s6 edge +, i downloaded the twrp file and odin, then i went to this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/help-installing-twrp-sm-g920f-7-0-t3610005 and did these steps "1. Download TWRP: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/zeroflte/
2. Start Odin as Admin
3. Boot Device into Download Mode
4. Connect your S6 to PC (Odin should show "Com 1" for example)
5. Click on "AP" and then choose twrp
6. Deactivate Auto reboot in odin
7. Flash it
8. When its done, hold Volume Down + power
9. Directly after screen goes black, make volume up + homebutton + Power
10. Now it should be flashed "
and on odin it said this
in a big blue box it said "reset" and i didnt know what it meant so i held power and volume down then volume up, home and power and this is where my problem is. it keeps turning on randomly and showing the logo then turning off and when i try and turn it on it also does it. i just checked odin again and now instead of saying reset it says pass with a green box

Oh guys i just got into stock recovery i think im saved please help me what do i do now?

Stuck on download mode, no OS, nothing in sm-T580

I deleted all the things system partition, cache and all, the 3 data clearing options in the lineageOs recovery mode. And now with no OS, and nothing the interface is stuck at download mode, nothing happens.
Tried applying TWRP Recovery with odin, displays Pass, but can't be opened.
Tried passing auto-root writes Success, but nothing. Stock-Rom was passed through Odin bit it tells Fail, I even tried two versions. By continously trying only black screen appears, then samsung logo, then charging image, then download mode.
Help please.
I was using lineageOS 19.0 android 12 before this massacre and tried to sideload GApps but it lead to this, as after first attempt Gapps didn't load, so in the second attempt, I tried to become oversmart.
What to do ?? Please explain ?? I am a Noobie....

Try pressing and holding volume up, power and home screen. When something appears let go, it should load TWRP if installed correctly.

After 20 secs of pressing volume down + power + home, black screen appears, then charging image appears after 1-2 minutes, but twrp doesn't open.

After multiple auto-root flashing, and after multiple stock rom flash, this image was displayed after every rom flash....

I would say twrp isn't installed then. You need to use Odin in the download mode.

Using odin i tried to flash 2 stock roms, but it tells failed, I should go to the samsung service center, maybe they will be able to help me...

No, they said it's not from this country so we can't do anything.

Can it be unbricked by flashing rom with replacing the recovery img. with another recovery img. , and then flashing with odin, if yes, then can you tell me step by step.
