I have installed SlimKat 4.4.4 and wonder if I can just download and install newer UNOFFICIAL version on my GT-6800?
Hi is there an easy why to update my phone.
the update app downloads 5.11.5 but i get the flash system.zip error on reboot.
Just wanted to update it to new version but not loose all my apps or data.
Is this possible.
my version is 5.0.2 LRX22G
miui version 7 global 5.10.22 | beta
build number is miuipro

What is the proper processor for installing 6.3.24 lollipop global beta. Which recovery i have to use to flash the global beta 6.3.24 lollipop recovery version? Currently i am using miui 7 6.2.2 kitkat version and i an using twrp 2.8.7.2

you can install it using twrp in that...first attempt will give u error..so again try and enable signature verification...
This Update is flash directly from Mi Recovery, on my case work without problem. See this thread:

MIUI version doesn't matter, what matters is the anti-rollback version of the rom you trying to install. If the anti-rollback version is equal to or greater than your current anti-rollback version, then it’s safe to flash.

So if the bootloader is locked, then stock recovery should stop the process from bricking our phones, in case the anti rollback version is lower, is that correct?
