Hi everybody, a few days ago i bought a HUAWEI P10 Plus, it was using Android 9, I managed to downgrade it to Android 8 using HiSuite but I was unable to downgrade to Android 7, I have a P10 Lite and it's possible on that device but not on the P10 Plus, and I need to downgrade to Android 7 so I can read the bootloader's code for unlocking, is there anyway to downgrade to Android 7 without an unlocked bootloader? If so, I would be really thankful if someone can help me on this matter.

Hi there, i`ve just downgraded my p8 lite from 6.0 brand to balongc50b311 cuz i just wanted to avert a unlocking a bootloader . My question is: Can i downgrade my soft to the b170 without unlocking bootloader or debranding the phone ? thanks for help.

Nope i don't think so
You will also need to unlock your bootloader to get rid of the Balong. It is not a build number, it is a bug related to installing something wrong on your device.
Hey guys, I'm sorry if this thread is somewhere here already but I'm currently dealing with such thing. I need to downgrade my Huawei p8 lite before security patch March 2017 and well my friend told me about magisk unfortunately with me I have computer only with system OS X which means MacBook. So if need someone to help me downgrade my Huawei before that patch over the Mac. I'd really use and appreciate very much any help. Thanks

I bought the phone out right when i was in Croatia. I now have the phone here in the states under t-mobile. I cant for the life of me figure out how to update this thing!

I've been trying to root my Huawei P8 Lite (EMUI version 4.0.3, Android 6.0). I heard that you have to unlock the bootloader, but unfortunately a few days ago Huawei actually removed the code generator page that you need to use to unlock the bootloader. I don't want to pay for a new code but I do want to root my device. Is there any way to do this?
I've already emailed Huawei at [email protected] and I've been waiting for a response for some hours now.

Use DC Unlocker to get the bootloader unlock code, then flash any of the custom roms available since last official rom offered by Huawei is 8.0.0
