I think Huawei have stopped unlocking bootloaders. I believe you can pay third parties to do it, but I don't have any experience with that.

yeah.. i just unlock my bootloader few weeks ago.. with dc unlocker
I'm thinking of buying an Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 (ZB602KL, 4 GB), but want to install my own ROM of choice. So just to make sure, I asked the seller if the bootloader can be unlocked. (Even if that weren't my goal, I don't want to limit my future choices). To my surprise, he said that they asked their supplier and the bootloader can't be unlocked in this model.
This guy hadn't really earned my trust before. How possible is it that this is true?
This xda forum wouldn't have been possible if bootloader on max pro m1 was locked
You can unlock bootloader in 5 minutes...

I have owned phones before (although not Asus) where the bootloader was locked on a hardware-level and it was impossible to unlock in any way. I definitely want to avoid that this time, thus my question.

I know you said, bro. But that wasn't my question.
My question was this: How probable is it that this supplier's Zenfone Max Pro M1s have unlockable bootloaders as they say?
The real asus max pro m1's bl can be unlocked and if the your supplier has made some changes to the bl then you've already lost warrenty on that device since its not all stock... Don't buy from him...(Although no one on xda has made a modified version of our stock bl..so chances are maybe that guy doesnt even know about it at all)...
Now we are can UL bootloader and root
Tks to realme fans support

Guess this is for Chinese Version of Realme X2 pro.
Can it be installed on EU-Version sold as per today from Realme (Europe)?

First enable OEM unlock in developer options. Than you install apk from first post, open it and apply for deep test mode. After few minutes when they approve hit 'Start deep testing" in this app, that will reboot device to bootloader. Then open folder where you have fastboot files, hold shift and click with right mouse button anywhere in that folder and hit "open command prompt here". Type "fastboot flashing unlock" and then on phone with volume buttons select "unlock bootloader". Now your phone will wipe device data and reboot. Now your bootloader is unlocked.

Ok sounds great will test that later. Need custom roms or european rom now because the chinese rom drive me crazy
Has anyone successfully rooted the phone??
So, does someone nice with an EU rom want to try backing up their system so someone on a CN phone can try restoring it?

Just now, I ordered the Realme x2 pro with 12+256 Gb.
Im very interested to flash some custom Roms and try out some mods ect.
But i have a question.
Are there some negative consequences from unlocking the bootloader?
Before i owned a Xiaomi mi 9TPro. I didnt unlock it because if you do that you loose widevine L1.
Is it the same problem with the realme x2 Pro?
or are there some other issues?
Sorry about my question, im a noob, my last phone with customrom was a Samsung s1+
mirror for twrp : https://www.androidbrick.com/download/realme-x2-pro-twrp-bootloader-unlock/
After installing TWRP
Advanced> Install Root> Reboot
If you do, a bootloop occurs and an error that boot / recovery.img is damaged is displayed.
Is Install Root impossible?

Why try various other things to unlock the bootloader, just unlock it once officially and permanently.

do what @rotoko said, why risk bricking your device when you could just use mi unlock tool and be patient.
