Ok guys I just bought a S7 Edge from a friend, he said that the issue of the phone is it just shows a blue text saying "RECOVERY BOOTING...", So I thought it will be easy to fix yet when i try to go to download mode, it just shows me the blue text, Please help, Thank you!

So, when i tried to trun on screen i saw green stripes on side of it, immediately i googled "s7 edge screen doesnt respond" saw few youtube videos, but none of soluttion doidnt work out, even if i restart my phone i cant see any boot logo and etc. pls help me
Give us more info please. Is your phone rooted? Custom rom? Fallen or accidents? Heat when charging? Anything...
And what do you mean when you say "Back screen"?

I have got a s7 edge dual that my friend has sent from hongkong. The device is perfect and doesnt have any issues.
However it isn't working here in India. It shows "Data Connection Only" when i insert any sim card of India.
What could be the problem?
Also, i tried to enter "Download Mode" it doesnt work, it enters a weird looking chinese menu, which looks like device testing menu, which i couldnt understand. Power + Volume down + home key isnt working. Power + Volume Up + Home key is taking me to "Boot Options". From there if i go to "Recovery Mode" it just shows a Dead Android.
Also, when i boot up the phone it just shows Blue colored rotating orbit near "Android" instead of "Samsung" logo and then a Green colored screen appears showing Android loading which start the phone.
Should i load Indian ROM on this and check?

There is a good chance that the phone you have is a Chinese clone (replica) and not an official Samsung.

Wow...How do i check that?
I thought so as well...given that thw phone info apps shows be that it has a MTK processor and screen res is 720x1280 ?

yes, you have a clone and there is not much you can do about upgrading it.
You maybe able to find and upgrade on a Chinese site but how reliable it is unknown.

There is not much anyone can do to upgrade cloned phones. You just have to live with it the way it is.
Today I got an issue from my phone! it was working fine, I was using youtube app and suddenly crashed and reboot causing to get a red screen, is full screen or partial.

My wife has the Duos S7 Edge international version and she got a prompt for a software update last night. She upgraded successfully and then couple of hours later, her screen just displayed this multicolor image with three vertical lines going across it. I have tried doing a hard reset as well as attempting to connect to computer - but no such luck. The screen stays on with the multicolor image displayed. I charged it also thinking it may be out of battery but no luck in recovering the phone. I am attaching a screen image in the hopes someone can tell me what is going on. I called Samsung tech support and the clueless tech person told me to take it to Best Buy and have the Samsung Mobile person there look at it. I thought of posting here first and hoping someone can help me out. THanks

Can you go in to recovery by pressing power+home+vol up? If u still can, try formating and clearing cache, obviously that will wipe all your data, if u still have that same thing, doenload the latest firmware in sammobile firmware, look around for firmware tab and go search and type in the model no.u have wth ur edge.u should see the most recent one and flash it using odin..hope that will help
So I recently got back into my s7 edge because my s8 plus screen broke and I had to order a new one. This is my issue:
I stopped using my s7 edge like 8 months ago because the battery got inflated and the cover came off. I bought a new battery today and replaced it myself. But when I conected my s7 to the charger it just shows a small blue message on the upper left corner "Recovery Booting" It flashes. I can get no commands to work. Ive tried them all. Hard reset, download mode, etc none work. I never did nothing risky on my device. I just used it for whatsapp, messenger, and youtube. My pc doesnt recognizes the phone and It wont power on. Not even to the samsung display logo. It doesnt even show the green battery charging animation (when the phone is off, and charging).
Really hope someone can help me. I really need to fix this ASAP cause of my work.
After some researching I think I might have a hard bricked s7 . I will buy a jig tomorrow. Hopefully that will help
