Junsun V1 Pro 2/32 radio memory problem - Android Head-Units

Hi!
My problem would be the following, I have a junsun v1 pro 2/32 unit that I upgraded and was successful, but now the problem above is that it forgets the radio stations every time it starts and the radio program doesn't start automatically as it does now. And the icons I arrange with a new start disappear from the home screen. how can it be repaired?

Hi see this post ... https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/general-questions-about-ff-5000-8227l-demo.4320569/page-2

There you will find info on this error.

Hello gents. Sorry for thd silly question but how could I fix this "settings not memorized" issue? I read previous msg but not sure if it s same pb than mine.
Is it a pb of cable or bundles not well placed behind the device? I asked seller who propose me the cross connect cable so i am not confident at all from where this issue is coming from?

If still memory is not saved after trying everything last resort is to cross wires red (ACC - key ignition) with yellow (+battery - constant 12v) on harness cable on the back.
It is obvious that here is problem badly connected wires from resellers.
On my unit I had similar problems with memory, but it is another problem, had installed led lights and led interior decoration, after taking them off, everything turned to normal, interference is problem. They must have resistors installed.
Also , some USB drives when attached to device , can write whole memory on them instead of main internal memory of unit. Try first time configure settings withhout them in ports and then see if problem is solved.

Thanks a lot. But how do I know it is the right cable?

Use multimeter to test voltage... constant 12v receiving from battery must be yellow wire or white wire (depends of model of a car), red one (ACC wire or ignition key wire) receives charge when ignition key is on contact mode or engine is on. If no canbus device is present with unit red wire must be connected with 12v yellow one and yellow one to red one in order to keep memory of radio. If disconnected from constant battery 12V radio/unit will lose memory and reset its state. After rewiring set and configure unit again and restart unit.
If canbus device is present with wires, procedure is to find correct wire that corresponds with red wire (find ACC key ignition wire on harness cable leading from steering wheel and that has charge when ignition key is in contact mode or engine is on) and then switch those wires with constant 12V BATTERY.

Thanks a lot.
I did find with multimeter two points with 12V when car is off. So now, how could I make sure to choose the right cable and put it on one of these two 12V points ?

the one with constant battery charge (yellow) must be crossed with red one (ignition key/accessory)

Hey guys, I’m having problems with searching the radio station on v1 pro ? Antenna cables are fine and the stetting for radio stations are set to Europe but still can’t get it play ? Any help would be great.

Does the radio app try to find stations or is it more like frozen?

You may have an active antenna which is not connected to power supply.

I have checked that behind the head unit and the radio adapter which came with headunit is plugged in?

Thank you I have managed to get it working. The active antenna plug was loose. Fixed that issue and the radio stations are back up and running.

no AM reception, but good FM reception - wrong radio region?

Apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this in, but I just installed an Android 8.1 head unit in my car in the USA, and I get great FM reception, but I can't get reception for any AM stations. I disconnected the unit and reconnected my old radio to make sure nothing had changed in the car, and I still got good FM and AM with the old radio, so I know the antenna is good.
Is there a setting in the radio for region (USA, Europe, China, etc) that could affect this? When I scan stations, it seems to be in the right range of frequencies, but doesn't stop on any, and I can't manually force it to a station that I know (950). Instead I can make it go to either 945 or 954. I have searched through all of the menus that I can find, and can't find anything that would allow me to see or change the region.
Thanks in advance - Paul
Update on this issue - I was able to get to the menu to change the radio region:
Car Settings:: About the Device (passcode 8888):: Radio
It was defaulted to Europe - I changed it to America 1 and America 2 which at least allowed me to directly tune to a couple of strong AM stations that I know, but I still had no reception. Everything else about the unit works well. I am trying to get them to send me a replacement thinking it is something in the hardware, but please let me know if anyone has any other ideas on things to check.
I have this problem too. Great FM reception, VERY poor AM reception. I've tried all country codes (Australia is not available). I've asked vendor for a solution. Still waiting.
Did you get a solution?
I had this too until I realized that my car has a built in car antenna amplifier (most cars now do) and it needs to be powered. Without power to it, you'll barely get reception. So I connected the antenna amplifier to the powered antenna output from the head unit and that improved it some, but still it wasn't great. Then I checked the voltage from that wire I found that the head unit only puts out 10.6 volts instead of the required 12. So I hooked the power antenna to the same 12V power coming from the car that feeds the head unit and presto, now I get normal radio reception like I used to.
This constantly amazes me, why do so many people not understand about the aerial amplifiers used on most cars now? When you swap out a manufacturer specific unit, make sure all the wires are connected, they're there for a reason!
yes, but most people don't realize that the lead from the head unit that says ANTENNA is not suitable to power the antenna. You must use the 12V power supply coming from the car to power the antenna amp.
It varies with the head unit, many do put out the full battery voltage on the antenna feed wire (ours does) but obviously some don't, your fix is correct for those that don't. The issue is that everyone seems to just leave the amplifier wire disconnected and wonder why it doesn't work.

I know this is an old post but I'm having this issue.
I'm actually little confused as to how to remedy this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Should I splice the blue ant wire into the power wire going to the radio?
I was under the impression the blue ant wire was for people who had a power antenna that raises and lowers when the radio is powered on.
Here's the radio I got for a 2005 Corolla.

The ANT wire of the head unit is intended as power supply for the car antenna. Not only the automatic extending antennas need a power supply, also active antennas.
So it depends on your installed antenna if you need to connect it.
Some active antennas doesn't have a separate wire for power supply. In this case you need a "Phantomeinspeiseadapter" (Google it). Espacially cars from VW group (Skoda, Seat, VW, Audi...) need such an adapter in combination with a 3rd party radio.
The idea is to power the antenna only if it's needed (your listening to radio).
Alternatively the antenna could get its power from the ACC wire. In this case the antenna gets power as soon as you turn on the ignition.
The B+ wire should never be used to power the antenna because this would drain your cars battery 24/7.

Teyes cc2 plus installed but no sound

Hello, I recently bought a Teyes cc2 plus for m'y Mazda CX-7 2009 and I installed it. Everything Is working and plugged in except there is no sound. I tried to do a Factory reset and a canBus update but it doesn't repair it. Can someone have an idea on how to make it work properly and what IS the problem? Thank you very much

Hi, if Radio only has no sound probably is wrong chip settings in hidden menu, try changing to other IC type - like 7686, sx7380 etc.
If not restored upgrade new android version (find similar software here on forum for your devcice and upgrade from USB)
Thank you for the response. Do you know how I can access this hidden menu to see if this is the problem?
I have a grey connector on the loom that I can't connect to anything and a blue wire that is named AMP-C.
Do I need to connect those for the sound to work?
You must connect antenna cable - that black wire one with fat belly at picture nb. 4 along with gps and dab black wires (if they are for that - with gold ending), and blue and black for amplifier I think and harness cable / this wires in a lot
Can you show me back end of a radio what looks like ? Where ports and connectors are.
That's all I got.
Connect all wires properly and plug fm antenna in device, all wires as I see have designation what is for, connect them all in ports where they belong. Turn device on and go inside hidden menu of device , with pin 8888 (or 0000 or what number is for your device and once in take photo of that menu , if has RADIO MENU inside take photo of that aswell).
I already did that and try a lot of things but nothing works. There is a developer menu and inside there is nothing about the sound or radio. Same for the factory menu. I tried to connect the blue wire named "amp-con" with the red wire named "ACC" like the vendor on Aliexpress said but it doesn't work.

Do you have phisical amplifiers in car (connected to audio)? If do unplug it and start machine and see if helps (if does help amp is too high and powerfull for your device).
Maybe some antenna like GPS antenna is faulty and is interfering with device, it happened to me once. I bought a new gps antenna and radio and sound works now. To test this simply disconnect GPS antenna and plugg FM antenna and try it without gps antenna, if works that is the case here.
Are you connecting to an external amp? If so you need to be able to turn on that amp with the amp trigger wire (blue wire)
There is an amplifier inside the car yes. It's in the trunk a bose amplifier. What's weird is that when the original radio is connected it only uses the big connector between the car and the radio.

Is it a factory amp or aftermarket? Factory amplifiers usually use the SPEAKER level inputs
It's the factory amp. Here more pictures about what I have for wires.
My guess is that your amp isn't getting a "turn on" signal. Go to FACTORY SETTINGS and make sure you have "with amp" (or something like that) checked to YES.
Some factory amps are turned on through CanBus and some are simply turned on with a trigger wire. Not sure which one yours is... you will have to investigate, but it sounds like the amp is off.
I have already set the amplifier power supply to Yes inside the factory settings but no sound again. Could it be the canbus brown box that is the wrong one or do you think this is something else.

Reduce amplifier level and see if helps, some amplifiers are to strong for aftermarket headunits. Try with low audio levels first. Just to see if works.

Do you have DSP effect in headunit ? Turn to lowest levels, then restart machine (and remeber old setting in case you might turn back)
I'm going to check that in a minute
No there isn't dsp effect in the menu. In this video you can see that the only thing that's need to be connected except the rear camera(brown + acc) is the big red connector. I have the same car has him. His car have the bose system too. The only thing that he have different is the canbus decoder that is named MZ-SS-06 when mine is RP5-MZ-002. Could it be the real problem?

Navtree Head Unit Battery Issue

Hi, New to the site and a greyhead who knows nothing about the electronics of these things. I installed a Navitree Y1E Android 11 4core 2+32GB Car DVD player for Ford Focus 2 2004-2011 audio for car video AM FM RDS 4G WIFI BT in my 201 Ford Focus. All appeared well as fitting was easy. All looked great and now I have found there is a constant live feed to the unit that is the possibe cause of a flat battery. My son is a mechanic and accepts he is not electronically knowledgeable, but he tested the wires and found a Yellow wire that was live and for memory, but there was a red wire that was permantly live and should be a switch feed. Can anyone advise if they have had experience with this model (Direct from China) and what is happening? Appreciate any help.

Hi Guys asnyone able to help. No help from supplier and looks like I will have to ditch the headunit..
Why would you ditch the head unit? It needs the permanent power on the yellow wire and a switched feed on the red wire. Your vehicle is currently not providing this so either you have wired the unit to the wrong feed or there currently isn't one so you'd need to find a connection in the vehicle which does switch with the key and run it to the red wire. As the red wire is only a sensing input it doesn't need heavy wiring.
It is not a head unit fault.
Note some vehicles supply the switching information to the stock head unit via the CANbus, yours may be like that and would explain the lack of a switched feed at present but you can easily overcome this.

Mr.TT_NZThanks for replying..appreciate comments..The red wire is going into the canbus via a 20 pin connector if it is cut the problem seems solved, so are you saying that I should have a switch cable run to that? See image for wiring.
Ah so you do have a CANbus module, I believe there are some issues with switching via those modules but I've never had one to play with.
You could try removing the red wire from the CANbus module and connecting a switched feed to it instead (not as well as) so the head unit only gets its switch control from your new wire. Maybe that CANbus module is not exactly correct for your model of car, there are so many variations even within a certain model that it is hard to see how the people who write the software for the modules can keep up with all of them.

Are you able to hear MP3 music stored on SD/USB or internal memory?
Is the FM receiver set to the right market? There are differences between the states. You need to check in the system settings of your unit.
Do you hear at least white noise? If you don´t hear anything and the FM receiver does not find a station, the FM receiver seems to be broken. Can mostly be exchanged if you are able to solder. Depends on the unit.
...but related to the age of this unit, I would not recommend that.

Station names is something different and is related to bad FM reception.
Well you are talking about VW. So I expect that your car has at least 3 antennas. One in the back window and one in each side window.
You most probably did not connect the antenna correctly. I don´t think that the receiver is broken.
Seems that you need some professional help to get this working with your setup.

With VW cars (and all others of the VW family) we are talking about Antenna-Diversity.
That means that a control-unit in the back of your car is checking all available antennas for the best reception and routes only this antenna to your radio.
You will find the control unit behind the right plastic panel in the trunk of the car.... at least mostly.
Antenna-Diversity is not really usable for any known-to-me aftermarket head units.
You need to check now:
Pull out the radio and check the antenna cable from the car.
Do you see a double FAKRA connector on car side?
Do you see only 1 single FAKRA connector on car side?
Is there a phantom power adapter between the radio and the car FAKRA connector, with a +12V connector?
In case you are struggling with that... Just pull out the radio and provide some photos where we can see the cable and the cable colors of the connectors.... Do that for all the cable tree connected to your radio.
hi all

Well... you should get your antenna working, instead of a workaround with some USB cable. At least I don´t get the connection between FM and USB.

Junsun V1 Pro FM reciever stopped working

Hi!
I recently bought a Junsun V1 Pro 4GB + 64GB. And I got, like many other problem with microphone quality. Thanks to (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ooth-phone-calls-junsun-v1-pro.4166471/page-3) I solved that problem.
And in the process i got new firmware from junsun and updated.
And then i connected headunit in car again and then FM stopped working. (Which was working perfect for a couple of weeks when troubleshooting bad microphone quality)
When starting the unit and then radio app there is a brief noise from radio that fades away quick. The channels are set to 0. And nothing happens if i try to scan for new.
I have triplechecked the connection to antenna, I measured the adapter for cable breaks.
I have tried a ton of settings in 8878.
I'll post screen of current settings, please help me troubleshoot this!

Hi, first things first...
Antenna. It must be connected to a mass (zero) of car in order to work so check that first.
Second... Change Radio chip in system settings and see if it is misconfigured. TDA 7851 is the common one used in this devices.
P.S. in image I see that RDS is OFF turn this ON !

Hi Anton, thanks for engaging with me!
When you talk about the mass connection, do you mean at the antenna side or on the head unit?
I'll try the TDA 7851 with RDS On, but i've already tried a ton of combinations in this menu since problem started.
I thought that reset to factory would also reset these settings but unfortunatley it only reset android.
Anyone know how to get these settings to factory?
Antenna works in that way that when jack is connected into antenna port mass of the car / or units mass - metal casing gives contact. But if it is not antenna case here and double checked, you can also check for a faulty GPS antenna if you have one , if faulty it can freeze radio , I had this problem on my old device. Go to GPS antenna test app and see if signal is constant with at least three satellites if not disconnect GPS antenna from unit and open radio app, see if works without GPS antenna. If yes, replace GPS antenna, buy new one.

Something with update changed your RADIO chip consult with seller or gaver of update
Problem solved now! I reached out to seller. And it turns out that "Radio" has to be in "Menu Icon" in order to function properly. (8878 Menu)
I removed radio since I wanted the button to open phone. Which I didn't got working anyway.
Thank you for helping!
