Hello, i'm looking for a stock firmware for Galaxy Note. The version i'm looking for is N7000XXKKA N7000OXXKK6 with XEO CSC (Poland) Andoird 2.3.6. I was looking for it on SamMobile, SamFW and Google but everywhere I check there are links that no longer work. Does anyone have this software or know where to get it?
Hello, im also looking for a specific stock firmware of the GT-N7000, im trying to find the N7000XILB1/N7000ITVKL1/N7000XXLB1/ firmware with ITV CSC (Italy Unbranded), im actually trying to find any version of Android GB 2.3.6 for the Galaxy Note ITV, but i can't find any working link online, all of them were hosted on the now dead Hotlink.com, there is a list of 2.3.6 GB Stock rom on XDA, their links are also dead but maybe you can have luck by searching for it in the archive.org, i found the ITV 2.3.6 .torrent on the Wayback Machine but unfortunately that's also dead with 0 seeds.
If anyone knows where to find Android GB 2.3.6 today please let us know, thanks.
Hello, here you go, i found the famous OXA Open Europe (Multi-CSC) Gingerbeard 2.3.6 Rom on this website: https://chule.tistory.com/54?category=401177
This is the GT-N7000 Launch firmware if im correct, i flashed trough Odin on a phone that had 4.1.2 JB, then i wiped data + cache and it worked well, after that i went on the Phone Dialer and typed this code -> *#06# (to get the phone IMEI Number) after that i typed this -> *#272*[IMEI]# and i changed CSC to ITV (Italy), i don't see Poland in the CSC List but you can try another 2.3.6 Rom from that website, or just use Germany or another Europe Country CSC.

Sorry im wrong actually there is XEO in the CSC List (*#272*[IMEI]#), so here you go
If you need to login with Google on android 2.3.6 GB you need to Update the Google Account Manager to the latest version, then update your Android Market to the Play Store and you can use the device.
There really are no more apps that support Android GB, you can get a lot of older games from 2011-2014 (such as Geometry Dash) on the Playstore but modern apps do not run on it, Chrome and Firefox do not work.
I Reccomend to download Opera Mini from the Playstore so you can at least go on Modern Websites, if you need Facebook you can use the Lite version which is still updated and works on GB, Google Maps still works altough it's a really old version so it doesn't have all the new features.
The latest version of Instagram is from 2014 and it no longer works, you can login but it will crash, you can still use it from Opera Mini.
The last version of Youtube is 5.5.30 and it doesn't work anymore as they disabled the Api for that version in 2020, you can use YT from Opera by going to https://m.youtube.com/f
Sometimes it will not let you access Youtube and it will say that your device is no longer supported and you need to update to Android ICS (4.0), so i reccomend to use the modded Youtube Apk i attached on this post, it's basically the web version of Youtube in an App.
The latest version of Whatsapp is from 2017 but it stopped working in 2020, so you can no longer use it, you need Android 4.1 as minimum.
I downgraded my Note to GB just for fun and nostalgia (also to remove the carrier bloated JB rom), but im going to Custom Rom this phone and you should too, as i said there is no modern app that runs on Android Gingerbeard and it's not a good experience, i just wanted to test it but yea now im going to install a more modern version of Android and see how it runs.

Hello everyone and sorry if i created a topic that already exists ive been searching this forum for hours and i could not find a solution to my problem.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 purchased in Slovenia at the provider Mobitel.
I've tried to update my phone to a newer version of the firmware trough Kies but i get the following error.
OK as im new it doesnt let me insert links :/ so my firmware version is the following:
PDA:JS2 / PHONE:JPY / CSC:JS1 (MOT)
i know the update to 2.3 is availible in Slovenia but i think i am missing some update inbetween or something, as you can see my Kies says its not an official version on my phone but it is, my phone is the same as i bought it ive never updated yet nor i installed any custom stuff on it.
Hope someone can help me i've been trying to update for about 2 weeks now :/ thanks!
Hi it would seem that http://www.samfirmware.com/ have a lot of updates that don't seem to be on kies I have updated my I9000 to 2.3.5 using Odin from there.
Everything you need to do it is on that site there are many threads on this forum for updating you phone. Before you do back up your IMEI data because if something goes wrong (not that it should) this data is unrecoverable.
See this link for how to do it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859914
When you go onto samfirmware there are guides on how to use Odin and what firmwares to use. Not that the name of the firmware version holds info about country codes and languages so my firmware I9000XXJVS is decoded in the following way -
I9000 - model
XX - Country code
JV - Language code
S - Changes with version
When you are changing the firmware check that the language code and country code are the same as what you have already this will ensure you have the right firmware. Only the last letter changes usually.

Hey thanks for your reply!
See im a complete novice when it comes to update Android phones on my own...doesnt it mean if i do it with Odin its going to be a custom update and i loose my warranty as it would be an official samsung update anymore ? and the frimware versions its all just numbers and letters to me i coudnt tell the difference between them if i look at them :/ so if you could please link me the exact things that i need if its legal to update that way , if im not asking for too much cause i feel like i am :/ i've been searching both this forum and sam's for a few days and i cant make out anything of it, like i saidi m a novice dont know much :/
Ok i downloaded this :
samfirmware.com/apps/blog/show/8512833-android-2-3-5-for-galaxy-s-
now i have completely no idea what to do with >.< please help!
flash samfirmware 2.3.5 XXJVS, newest and fastest
Ok firstly Odin is a manual tools for updating firmware. And the roms on that site are stock roms (unmodified). The reason Samsung and other manufacturers don't like people flashing roms is that a) you can brick your phone and b) with a custom rom they will not warrantee the rom because they didn't make it. If you flash a stock rom onto your phone you should be fine. (Bricked phones are recoverable usually).
As I said before BACK UP YOUR IMEI DATA as shown by the link in my original post reply as if this data is corrupted even if you get a good rom on your phone if you have lost your imei your phone will not work. (This is more of an issue with custom roms and not usually an issue with stock roms but do it anyway).
**UPDATE** This actually requires that you have Odin up and working which you might not yet so don't worry just yet about this.
Don't use xxjvs yet it may be the wrong language we will check before proceeding.
Ok firstly you need to check the language version of the rom already in your phone the easiest way is to go into settings and then about and check the kernel version it will be something like 2.6.35.7-I9000XXJVS-CL535839
The important bit for now is the bit in bold in the above example I9000 is the model xx is the country code jv is the langauge code and s is the version.
XX = Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
JV = en,fr,pt,tr(ar,de,es,fa,it,nl)
If you are from Solvenia you country code would normally be XD and im not sure what your language code is. Any firmware you install should have the same country and language codes.
Checking the site there aren't any versions with the XD country code so before continuing can you confirm what version your phone already has?
XD = Croatia, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia
?? = language (use whatever your old rom is)
You can flash different country codes but be aware that this may change the available languages on your phones and/or settings/carrier information. (checking the site they just have the xxjvs firmware listed under "Europe" so it might be fine. It's up to you. That being said when I turn my phone back on after flashing a rom it prompts me with a list of countries so...
You need to install your phone drivers
Then download Odin http://hotfile.com/dl/107607762/640950b/I9003_Odin3_v1.82.rar.html and then un-rar it.
You then need to download the firmware you want to flash the current XXJV firmware is http://hotfile.com/dl/129538506/0a079c6/I9000XXJVS.rar.html.
This will contain 4 files the modem, csc, kernel and pit files everything you need to make it work.
I'm not going to go through the Odin instructions as they are on the site here http://www.samfirmware.com/SVC Android/I9000 Flashguide.pdf and are pretty easy to follow (just ignore the first few pages until you come to the Odin section).

As we know Megaupload style file sharing system are closed and therefore very hard to find old stock firmwares.
I am looking "a native firmware" with correct CSC and possibility to updrade it to newest version with KIES. So, I am looking for XWJVH (SCS: XEE or NEE) and then planning to upgrade it with KIES to newest stock Gingerbread v2.3.6 JW4.
I know Samfirmware web site, but haven't find correct firmware and correct CSC (missing native keyboards and APN settings). I have used 3rd part keyboards and backed up my APN settings, but I like most the stock Samsung keyboard.
I am pretty sure that some forum member will have a stock XEE or NEE firmware what I am looking for. Can you share it? Or tell how and where I can get it?
Here you, should be everything you desire, except you'll need to use ODIN.

Hello everyone,
I am in need of information and I'd like to ask for your expertise.
I have purchased a I9500 from a Chinese store (where I live). As I didn't want any Chinese ROM (no google apps), I purchased a so called "oversea version". They sold it to me as from Hong Kong (which is fine because they don't have the same restrictions).
My phone, unfortunately, has a few hick up :
- every single reboot, the phone is asking me wheter I want to use the touchwizz or simplify interface.
- it sometimes looses the wifi logins (need to re input the password)
- most annoying of all : I experience reboots on my phone while using camera of flashlight (50% of the time)
I have had a look around and saw that my stock ROM (XXUAMDK) wasn't the latest version. So after further digging, I considered to change it. At that stage only, I realized the phone is meant to be from Egypt (at least the ROM installed).
EGY
AP : I9500XXUAMDK
CP : I9500XXUAMDK
CSC : I9500OJVAMDK
I few upgrades of the ROM that seems to have fix the issues, but none of them have same "CP" or "CSC".
Can you recommend a version I should / can upgrade without any worries ?
Ideally, Asian ROM or Europe ROM
Which flashing method would you suggest ?
I could go with a rooted one or stock one (as long as the rooted one still gets the OTA).
I look forward to reading your helpful suggestions.

Hello
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo Duos (GT-i9300i). It was running Android 4.3 and I have upgraded it to 4.4.4 using firmware found on sammobiles, I chose Brazilian Country/Code as it was the latest build and there is no UK build. (I live in the UK). I have tried installing Android Pay from the Market but I get info that my device is incompatible. I tried installing the application from APK file but I get a message: Android Pay isn't available.
Does it mean I will not be able to get Android Pay working on my phone as there is no firmware from UK ? Would changing CSC code help ?
Thank you

Nope. i think s3 neo doesn't has the hardware to give you android pay facility.
Hi!
Does anyone know where I can find the T387AAUCS3CUD1 stock ROM? I'm trying to fix a unit that I may have messed up by tinkering with custom ROMs.
Anyone?
Still nothing?
Hi also searching high and low for T387AAUCS3CUD1.
Any success finding it?
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA) - Software Update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA) - AT&T
Get Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA) support for the topic: Software Update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (T387AA). Find more step-by-step device tutorials on att.com.
www.att.com
ATT is worthless - no support. OTA Android 8 won't update to Android 10. Says already current.
No luck yet :-(
Still no luck.
Someone recently gave me a SM-T387AA, came across this thread while looking for the latest firmware for the device. It does appear that T387AAUCS3CUD1 is the latest for the AA version, which I also was unable to locate. (probably because ATT uses their own servers for firmware instead of samsung) However, while searching, I also came across a newer version of firmware for SM-T387W.
Specifically:
AP VERSION T387WVLS3CVK2
CSC VERSION T387WOYV3CVK2
CSC VTR (Canada)
ANDROID VERSION Q(Android 10)
SIZE 2.62 GB Full Files
MD5 d3b07faf990e6b33b55f5f39839799e4
BUILD DATE 20221114152111
SECURITY PATCH LEVEL 2022-06-01
To my surprise, I flashed the 387W firmware on my 387AA with ODIN and everything seems to be working just fine. Still can't unlock my bootloader though. I see there's also a 387R4 variant. I might try that next, and will report back if I do.
Would this not though prevent a user from being able to use it on AT&T?

I popped in an ATT sim and calls/txt appear to be working.
Oh interesting, I wonder what the difference between the two firmware versions are then?

I used Bifrost. It can pull the latest firmware for most samsung devices that are hosted on samsung servers. Type in the model, "SM-T387W" and the CSC, "VTR", check for update and then download.
