S7 edge not updating to Nougat

My friend has Samsung galaxy S7 edge but it is not updating to nougat and still running on marshmallow. Please help.

check model info, dowbload stock rom for specific model and flash it with odin or just use samsung software to update

If u have installed any recently oreo stock rom then no u cant go back anymore,bootloader cant be downgraded

You can flash a nougat custom rom but the bootloader remains as oreo

root s8 plus?

i have a s8 plus G955U with baseband s8 android v 9, how can i root this? im trying to get kali installed on my phone
