My Redmi 2 stuck at mi logo after rooting by super su app.

please help me friends.....
i have redmi 2 and its model no. is 2014818.i rooted my phone by zip file throug updater app.after installation super su app installed automatically.then i opened super su app and it prompts to select continue with normal recovery or twrp/cwm custom recovery.by mistake selected second option which is twrp/cwm custom recovery.then clicked continue.after that my phone booted and that after stucked at mi logo.
my phone is not going to recovery mode.it is stucked at mi logo.
But it is going into fastboot mode properly.also i flashed latest rom by fastboot method and it shows success result in mi flash tool.but after booting it agian stucked at mi logo.i also tried to flash by command prompt by using adb and fastboot tools.all commands i give gets executed properly but the problem is not solved
i went to Mi service center.he told me that "i will do some software update.after some time he came up and said that the phone is taking much time and stucked at mi logo.
then he assumed and told me that ,there is an issue in motherboard i.e. the motherboard is currputed.
but in my perspective i dont think so, because all the fastboot cammands and functions are woring properly.
please help me in this situation and suggest me that whether it is software issue or hardware, and also about the chances of resuming to life of my phone.
you should try to flash the firmware again but don't forget to select clean_all while flashing from mi flash tool. if your phone doesn't revives then maybe it's hardware issue.
and yes also try to install custom recovery and custom os after flashing firmware maybe your phone gets a new life.
U can't flash stock ROM by fastboot r8?
Have u tried to flash T.W.R.P by fastboot by using mi flash tool(try to use latest version of mi flash too).
And direction is here.If that succed then all is good.

i tried to flash TWRP and CWM recovery By Adb and fatboot method using commands (command prompt method) amd on giving commands all executed properly but not resulted.
From now phone is not going into fastboot mode also and not booting on pressing power button.
On connecting to pc the notification message appears and says "unrecognizable device and device may be malfunctioned".sometimes it is detected as Qualcomm Device on connecting.
In that case your device is hard bricked. You need professional help.
But check if your device is listed or not in device manager if it shows an exclamation mark try to update the drivers and though your device doesn't boots into fast boot mi-flash would probably detect your phone and than flash hope it would recover your device up-to certain extent.
I only understand your problem why because I too same thing as you did.

Simply flash twrp recovery n your phone through adb drivers or contact me. I can't give you video tutorial because I don't want you make that mistake again. my mail id: [email protected]
Alrighty I think praveen66542 is not wrong.
I have actually a redmi 2 and I had exactly the same problem a year ago; I've tried all the methods but it didn't work
So i've do is :
I installed Android SDK + ADB Drivers
I Turned my phone into fastboot mode
And I wiped all data from ADB But if you don't want to loose your data you can always do a backup from ADB and then wipe device's data
I think that's the one and only working solution.

what am I missing? adb sideload twrp fails

I am following this guide here to root oneplus 6t (european variant), 9.0.5 Android:
https://www.xda-developers.com/onepl...otloader-root/
bootloader is unlocked and I can see there is a positive connection between phone and PC by checking the output on adb devices and fastboot devices. both work as intended.
the problem is that when I try to adb sideload, it says that I need version 1.0.32. so this means I cannot flash the custom recovery.
any tips? been looking online for quite some time now and cannot figure out what to do anymore. where can I find this 1.0.32 adb version?
I am a long time user on nexus 5 and just bought this phone, want to root it aswell. (note: this does not mean I have high level of knowledge on these types of hacks, just wanted to have this clear.)
Are you trying to boot or to flash the recovery from adb ? If you're trying to install the recovery from adb it wont work, on a/b devices the recovery is part of the boot image wich needs to be patched, boot twrp.img and then get the bluespark twrp zip and flash it.

I can start the twrp, the problem is when I go into adb sideload and try to flash it. on pc is says "error" and on the phone it says I need to get adb 1.0.32. I am trying to flash that bluespark recovery with no luck.

You need to flash the zip from within the recovery that you booted using adb, not sideload it.
I already tried that, copied the files to the phone but when I try to access them through the bootable trwp, I cannot access them.

you are asking for help with 6t in the 6 form. whats wrong with this? you should be at this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...overy-unofficial-twrp-touch-recovery-t3861482

Flashable Recovery?

Hello, I know our great device does not have a recovery partition, so we need to use fastboot to boot TWRP. But muy question is, is there no way to boot into TWRP without a computer? Maybe a terminal command from Android itself, or a little script that we can run when needed? This might be a noob question, but I'm sure many here could profit from a positive answer.
Thanks

Assuming youre rooted... Ive used the reboot app on my phone. I have a 1926-7 Moto G6 Plus. It will boot to fastboot, fast reboot, recovery, reboot system etc. Look around xda and see if someone has a good reboot app or else use GP. I actually had twrp flashed permanently to my phone but it would not back up so I have to redo it. Also the phones data was encrypted and I didnt know how to fix it. I hope that you are able to find something that works for you
You can boot into TWRP via terminal command without using a computer. Use the 'dd' command ( 'dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot of=/sdcard/boot.backup.img' ) to take a backup of your boot.img. Than use 'dd' to overwrite boot with twrp and reboot to recovery (dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot)
Later to boot your phone as normal you only have to install your boot.img backup via TWRP.
now we can install a TWRP 3.3.0 ONLY ON DECRYPTED ROMS (the lastest Havoc, Resurrection Remix, AEX, Decendant, PixyOS are unencripted by default) for flashing magisk modules or mods but it will be overwrite when we flash/update our custom/stock rom:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CqzvBiEfk9xucXG8UemNZMhBxDCeSV0i
How to install it:
Put the donwloaded TWRP on your plataform tools folder and in your internal/sd storage.
Boot the same TWRP (fastboot boot TWRP.img)
Go to ADVANCED and select Install Ramdisk Recovery
Check backup boot box( in case something goes wrong just restore your boot partition)
Swipe and wait until finish.
Reboot
If every reboot finishes in twrp booting just flash magisk and youll be able to boot into system.

mi device doesn't boot after trying to install twrp

Hi,
I tryed to install a custom ROM, so I need twrp. I think I came into a mistake by flashing the recovery and not just boot into it. Now I can't boot but still can use fastboot.
Probably miflash would do the job by flashing stock again? (The problem is I only have a Linux machine)
Thanks

Mi A1 32Gb
solution
I find a solution. Download a fastboot_miui image, inside you will find some scripts. Flash_all.sh does the trick.

How to install TWRP on Redmi 7A, Miui 12.0.1.0? Please, I need help!

I don't know how can I install twrp on Redmi 7A, if somebody know, please, help me!
First you need to unlock the bootloader, after that, download the twrp, depend of what rom you going to install, because they're 2 twrp, 1- 32 bits, 2-64 bits, if you're going to install a 64 bit rom, you need the same version of twrp, and download the minimal adb and fastboot tool. After that put the twrp inside the minimal adb folder, reboot the phone to bootloader (turn off and turn on with the button down), and write like (fastboot flash recovery "twrp-version.img") and then you got it :3

You should be able to access data if you only flash TWRP.
YOU ONLY NEED TO FLASH DATA AND SYSTEM IF YOU ARE FLASHING A DIFFERENT (CUSTOM) ROM
