Hello so i have just purchased a uk model lg g2 d802 and find the whole lg skin useless apps etc horrendus and want to get cyanogenmod on it and have a nice clean simple setup like on my nexus 4 but i downloaded rom manager to get started and am getting a message that my g2 basically isnt rooted.just wondering if possible if someone on here can help pointing me in the right direction to ultimately get to my goal of getting cyanogenmod on it? Straight talk
Straight talk does not allow ota updates. The Android version you have is all that is available for them. Mother had a S4 stuck on KitKat for that reason. I'm new to rooting. And I know boost Mobile doesn't like the idea of rooting

I need help to root my Motorola Moto G6 Plus, it's a 1926-2 running Android Oreo 8.0 i've unlocked the bootloader but i'm not knowledgable much about what a TWRP is i've tried flashing it but it won't work no matter what I try. I rooted my old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge easily using Odin but this with my Moto G6 is a complete nightmare I spent 6 hours yesterday stressing out and still can't do it. The instructions on rooting the Moto G6 are vague and described with missing information as to where things need to be, what they are, whether something needs to be done from my phone or pc using what software etc..
I need a lamen version of help to root it, thanks.
